Zendesk - Jira: improved collaboration
What do you like best about the product?
Jira helps our development and product teams to develop new product features and implement an agile approach.

What do you dislike about the product?
Although projects can be defined they are more meant as programs. It would be nice to have projects and programs.
Add-ons exist for Google Drive but it would be nice to have it as a standard jira feature

Don't hesitate. Best development tracking system there is

What do you like best about the product?
simplistic UI, and Powerful APIs which allow Jira to be integrated with other tools. Jira has been a blessing for us in creating automated tickets and assignments and tracking updates
What do you dislike about the product?
Our salespeople had a hard time understanding Jira. They felt that this whole Jira felt engineered. Not very non techincal people friendly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We're using Jira with Shuffle to automate the entire workflow (SIEM alerts to Jira issue). The APIs has been one of the best feature Jira has to offer. we're leveraging Jira APIs to automate our workflows.
Does the job, not the best.
What do you like best about the product?
Most helpful is that it is a tracker system for work being done. There are plenty of plug-ins.
What do you dislike about the product?
The ability to use it wrong and be in a company shackled to a poorly managed JIRA is too easy. Also the plugins feature I have found scarce resources that didn't cost more money than it was worth. I think JIRA cleans up in an enterprise that can blow money.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Creating work tickets and documentation. Their roadmap feature needs work. Need to use a separate system for that. I am sometimes finding myself having to clean-up tickets because there is also not an easy way to see them across teams.
Best tool for Synergy between the teams
What do you like best about the product?
The clarity between the teams regarding specific features and products. The tool is useful right from the planning phase to support and maintenance. The document attachments are supported which is very helpful.
What do you dislike about the product?
The inbody images attachment is not proportional and often breaks the indentation of the message. It will be great if the attachment is aligned properly with the message body.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is a resource book for us to keep track of the development work of new upcoming features. We can engage R&D with suggestions and feedback on the new features.
JIRA: Go to tool for project management
What do you like best about the product?
I manage my entire project using this. It connects seamlessly with other applications and is just a breeze to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
Currently, I'm not finding a way to export my JIRA dashboards to report formats like pdf etc.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is helping me to track my project activities and get a bird's eye view of the entire project. I can generate effective reports from it and it indeed saves lot of time !

It's hands down the best project management and bug tracking tool.

Performance is lackluster and a bit diaappointing

It's a ticketing system, so... It solves our ticketing needs

The visibilty of tasks during the execution phase, because of the Swimlanes, it makes the PM keep track on the Project Deliverables

In JIRA you cannot identify the risk management or cost management which important part of Project Management

It's an ideal tool for bug tracking, issues/task tracking and to identify the progress of the Agile based projects for me

The way it is used for assigning tickets for tasks.

No dislikes as of now.

What do you like best about the product?
Jira is helpful in all aspects of a software management company. It has rich features and enormous supporting products to make things easier. All tools work independently as well as combined manner.
What do you dislike about the product?
The UI can be improved to provide more user-friendliness and the look and feel can make better using more colorful themes. Better documentation or demo should be provided for newbies
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Jira is useful in all aspects of project management and task assigning. We can set up a route for the flow of work done and which makes real-time tracking much easier.
