Best project management site
What do you like best about the product?
Jira is a powerful project management tool, which supports all types of issues. currently, most of all companies are using Jira for project management. Using Jira we can track what's features are currently implementing in the company, also leader or manager who is leading the project assign the task to the developer, and developer can track that.
What do you dislike about the product?
Jira hasn't major issues, but Jira is mainly designed for Bitbucket, so while using Github or Gitlab, it doesn't support all the features, another thing is without admin privileges we can't add or delete the task.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The main benefit of using Jira is, that we can add Github or GitLab or Bitbucket repository in Jira and track all merge request directly from Jira, It helps a lot for managers to track all kinds of issues and pull/merge requests

Those people, who are working on projects must try at least once.

Tracking work done, features like burndown chart, Time remaining in graph , daily work tracking in scrum borad. User Interface is good.

make the requirement column mandatory to fulfill the story

the daily work done tracking making us to complete and understand the remaining work needs to be done.

What do you like best about the product?
I Like Jira most because it has a very simple and user-friendly UI. It is very smooth.
It can track each and every step of a project.
One of the most useful features is for every status change or for every comment, it triggers a mail that is available in the watcher's list.
It helps developers to maintain a software life cycle model. It is very helpful in agile methodologies.
It is very powerful for Quality Assurance research and for reporting.

What do you dislike about the product?
Jira doesn't have auto-refresh options. To check for the latest update on a Jira Ticket, you have to update the page.
Other than that Jira is not for Marketing or Finance people. Jira is useful only for the Software industry.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am using this product daily. In my office For Customer Care related issues or Support problems, we use to create Jira tickets and track all progress.
Jira helps us to differentiate the priority of a problem so that we can give a deadline to the problem.
For Bug fixing also we are using Jira. We can track a bug in a timely manner. We can also attach screenshot and code snippet, which helps to understand the problem in a better way. It helps us to maintain the software life cycle model. It became helpful when it comes to deadline-specific tasks like fixing bugs and giving proper solutions in a specific range of time.

This is a great product for Product development and fixing bugs in an existing product. One can track all of his progress and check his development. If you are looking for a tool that can help you to update your product in an agile life cycle process then go for it.
Fast and efficient method for keeping track of development tasks
What do you like best about the product?
The Kanban board feature provides an effective way to quickly create and categorise tasks, check their status, move them through a dev cycle and stay on top of everything that is WIP and still in planning.
What do you dislike about the product?
he process for renaming categories , statuses etc in JIRA is quite complicated (bu possible) so customising your board to match you own internal process and terminology takes quite some effort (and reading help docs)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Keeping an easy to view summary of our planned and WIP dev asks in one place for all relevant team members to access - it's extremely useful for this. Also, logging all updates and comments to tasks through final sign off. Saves time and reduces misscommunication, things getting lost, comments and updates not being recorded, etc
Recommendations to others considering the product:
set up your workflow streams and priority categories etc in a way that matches how you work. form the start. trying to fit your own workflow to the JIRA standard setup is OK but better to customise to what you need.

Some attributes are used outside standard frameworks due to ignorance of standards

JIRA helps us to manage and track the progress on the project and the tasks related to it effectively and helps us understand the major and minor milestones which are achieved internally

The pages within a defect are static so that they need a refresh for every changes on the defect/ticket we are monitoring.

Project management and the progress tracking for users became very easy with JIRA. The integration with other tools like Tempo will make your job even more easier

Jira is a powerful work management platform for any kind of use case, it has become a central hub for coding, collaborations and documenting all our main points we came across and is most helpful while we are using agile methodology for building the requirements.

So Jira is a complete user interface, sometimes it makes it quite complex to manage our tasks.
Also, it's difficult for the initial setup and getting used to the Jira Software.

Jira helps me and my team to efficiently manage and run the task of individuals very easily and in a maintained way.
It provides great support to the overall team and get real-time updates for the various incident raised or solutions we have got.
Also, Jira has an amazing feature of incident raising and the resolving such incident and also it learns from the previous incident.

What do you like best about the product?
it is the simplest platform that I have ever used to report a problem. On top of that the team is quite fast and they are doing their job pretty effectively which gives us an amazing result in the end
What do you dislike about the product?
The thing I dislike is the visibility of the tickets. Unfortunately, the platform does not let us view a ticket if we are not included in it. In my opinion, when we are working in the same company the issues are common for us, we should be able to view the tickets

With the help of the Jira our Tech is solving different issues, bugs and problems regarding accesses for the users. Benefit is the same which I have already mentioned above - its very easy to use

This makes it quite easy to keep track of the development as well the bugs which have been raised. We can easily create sprint and add the testcases as well.Easily track the progress of any project.
What do you dislike about the product?
Although everything seems good about JIRA tool but it can be quite overwhelming for new users, the UI might take some time to get used to,but rest everything is good about the tool.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am using JIRA on a regular basis to keep track of the software development progress and also using it for raising bugs. Since multiple people can collaborate it makes it very easy to be on track and in sync with team.

I would recommend jira to everyone who are looking for a tool related to bug tracking and product management.
