Jira - The most useful tool for software developers in project management
What do you like best about the product?
As a MERN Stack developer, I think task management is the most necessary thing to develop software and Jira is a tool that helps to track our work, view due dates and add comments on particular tasks which helps you to become a responsible developer
What do you dislike about the product?
There is a thing I think is a drawback of Jira is that as a developer if I have moved a task card from to-do to in-progress by mistake, I cannot move back it to the to-do which is kind of annoying.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am tracking my tasks and I can calculate the time I can take for a task so that all the tasks of my can be completed on the due dates and we can see and access pull requests from and other git changes directly from Jira.
Jira has helped the product team of the company that I work to organize all the roadmap and more

The clean and easy organization of the roadmap

There is nothing that I dislike about jira
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We organized the roadmap activities with jira, the integration with gitlab helps the developers organize their activities, the integration with canny helps product to organize whats coming from the backlog.

I like how simple it is to create tasks, assign them to people, and keep track of boards.

I don't really have anything negative to say. Everything is fairly intuitive.

Customisation is the biggest feature of jira core and it is highly extendable for future requirements also.

To many features in on a single screen can be overwhelming at tiimes.

I love the user interface, it is very intuitive, I like it a lot because it is very friendly and understandable, the user can adapt very quickly to its functions, I love it because it is very good for organizing and carrying out my tasks and projects, I love its Scrum and Kanban boards, it is very visualizing the workflow, it is very useful because I can see the progress of the tasks in real-time, I like it because it is very easy to generate a report with this tool, it integrates very well with Trello and Slack, the project management is optimal.

I did not find any negative details when using this platform.

It is excellent for team collaboration, I love that I can customize it as much as I want, I love its intuitive interface, I also love its excellent notification system, the search is very good and efficient, and it is very easy to share files, the way to generate Reporting is excellent, it's perfect for saving time, the administration improves a lot, I like how easy it is to attach images when creating a file, it integrates with Hip Chat and Slack, it's very visually pleasing and allows me to follow absolutely everything.

I recommend this platform to carry a good administration.

What do you like best about the product?
It is a very efficient software and it is what I like the most, I like its simplicity and versatility, it has Kanban-style boards that are easy to use and customize, it is easy to create tasks and at the same time create subtasks, and it also allows you to create different types of flows of work, I liked that the software is very intuitive and the administration is very easy, I can monitor and follow multiple dashboards, the reporting system is really simple and practical, it is also very easy to see the tickets and I like that I can see everything at real-time, it's very easy to order everything and I love the style of the boards.

It's a great tool and I really had no problems with the platform.

I love the way it integrates with other software like GitHub or Slack, it makes it even more powerful, it works efficiently so you can save and manage time better, and it's very useful for planning the roadmap, I love how It is useful for working and collaborating as a team, the workflow can be optimally customized, tasks and projects can also be created and customized, the administration is pleasant and I love that each tool is very user-friendly, it is perfect to track down issues, it's overly customizable, I love its interface.

I recommend this application to better manage projects and their planning.

What I like best with Jira is the issue and bug tracking for software developers. I recommend Jira for technical-minded project teams.
What do you dislike about the product?
What I don't like about Jira is the limited collaboration tools and is designed for technical users. Non-technical users will struggle with Jira because it is not a friendly and easy tool. Another point is that Jira doesn't come with Gannt Chart or timeline view.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Problems like Bug and Issue tracking is what I mostly have solved with this tool. THe benefits of Jira is the tracking system.

What do you like best about the product?
By using Jira software team can plan and track their work. It can be handled very easily by any user or beginner. Jira has a customizable and interactive dashboard. We can assign bugs to developers and also link some features and requirements to specific defects
What do you dislike about the product?
Jira has some demerits like without admin privilege we can't delete defects. Jira is not convenient for finding duplicate reports of defects. We can't download Jira graphical reports. Jira mobile app is not good as compared to Jira web.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Using the filter concept we can add tests into test cycles so we can easily execute our test cycles in Jira. We can create our customized dashboard for different projects. piecharts can be used to track the uploaded bug counts of all the team members.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
As compared other defect tracking tool, jira is most user-friendly tool, anyone can use it without any hesitation. UI is very good.
