Easy to use project management software
What do you like best about the product?
It's very intuitive and widely used. Every company that I have worked for uses JIRA.
What do you dislike about the product?
Ease of use and understandability is dependent on how flows are set up. So the teams need to understand that. Often times in organizations, working teams are not involved in that process making the flow confusing. This is not necessarily a software problem.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Helps our team stay organized. I as a product manager can easily go into my Kanban board and review work in progress and what released already. We can also highlight dependencies in tickets which is helpful.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Involve your working team when deciding on how the work should flow and what different statuses and fields mean so they are clear on how they need to use the tool.

He has a lot of capacity for information and that is very good for teamwork

Larger font and can have more colors inverted: dark background and white letters

Ability to create and customize workflows, automating with other project management tools such as Smartsheet

Little to none customization on design / UI for scrum/kanban board

Best Issue Tracking Tool on the Internet
What do you like best about the product?
What I like best about Jira is that it has a fast and easy-to-use UI. It comes with tonnes of customizability. The admin has the option to create statuses for tickets. The admin can create multiple projects to track multiple types of issues.
It also comes with Agile management, i.e., you can create a board to track the issues, have a backlog to add issues that couldn't be resolved, have sprints added to the tickets, have tickets rollover when new spring starts, etc. Great tool in my opinion.

What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes when you try to change the status of the ticket, the loading screen takes too long to process the request.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Jira helps in tracking issues which helps everyone involved be updated with the status of the bug/improvement. It also helps manage the project in Agile structure which is amazing!
Onboarding Specialist Usage of Jira
What do you like best about the product?
Jira allows me to easily convey information regarding bugs or tasks to my development team so that we can work together to resolve customer issues. This is much more efficient than standard communication through messaging.
What do you dislike about the product?
At this point in time, I have not run across any downsides to using Jira in the capacity in which I need it. The functionality is well thought out and works for how I use it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Jira to report bugs that customers experience with our software and to request back-end tasks from my developers. I am able to categorize the type of ticket, and also include screenshots/videos to get as much information to my team as possible.

kanban borad is really great and also jira's ticket feature is very very better than the other available alternatives.
What do you dislike about the product?
i believe onboarding could be improved as for the beginner the features might feel overwhelming and whole layout a bit clumsy.

The best thing in jira is the user experience, and the management of the different tasks with the integration of GitHub.

The thing which I don't like is, we can't get report for the past sprint which is closed.

Daily tool to manage team tasks
What do you like best about the product?
The tool provides sprints which are a nice way to plan teamwork plus other features like story points which can help estimate how much effort is required. Everybody gets their own tasks and can lead them from start to the end.
What do you dislike about the product?
If you add too many columns to the board it becomes hard to work with if you are using a small screen and you might be forced to make it smaller in your browser. Also, it seems there is no easy way to pull reports that involve just fetching a count number of tasks when you try to filter them by something.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use jira to manage our team and document all our tasks. It helps us split the work between different sprints and measure our velocity. It also provides an easy way to understand the current status of your team tasks.

What do you like best about the product?
Jira is an excellent application to provide feedback to dev team and convert reported issues to bugs

Jira is simple application to use and it is tough to say what I dislike. Everything which I use atleast I love it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I work with customer issues, converting them to bugs or new dev work is tough with 2 different application. We use to convert reported issues in CRM to bugs by integrating CRM with jira.
