The user permissions are difficult to navigate. You have to have the correct permissions on a project to tag a person on the board.

It is mostly used by the software industry people the other industry like marketing, finance won't be able to use it.

Jira is a great tool for team and project management.
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to monitor several projects and sub-projects in the same system, as well as workflow flexibility. Creation and distribution of several ticket types without needing to log into the project portal. An integrated project found it beneficial to look back at prior sprint estimates to see how much time it would take to complete other projects. Customizable fields and workflows that may be tailored to the team or project being worked on.
What do you dislike about the product?
The downside of Jira's adaptability is that its settings are dispersed throughout the system, necessitating the use of the knowledge base to find out how to customize ticket fields, workflows, and automations, among other things. The basic Jira end-user interface is not user pleasant and certain things may not make sense depending on the team using it such as a ticket being in a closed state, while the resolution state contains different "states" such as do, don't do which is more commonly used by software development teams. When setting up new projects in Jira, either for project managers, agile software development teams, or integrated project teams, there is generally a great deal of customization required. My end-users who wish to keep track of their projects in Jira may find it challenging to understand this as an administrator, A successful Jira implementation relies on excellent communication with your end-users, who will help you set up, customize, and improve the entire Jira experience
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Because of Jira's flexibility, I still use it to manage integrated project teams, IT projects, and the helpdesk for my own company. It's convenient to be able to manage tasks and tickets for multiple projects and departments from a single location. Most important is entering your data, and this comes down to managing your teams, as well as setting expectations for the quality of your ticket information.

What do you like best about the product?
Best thing about jira is its user interface. We can easily move tickets to the developer and quality assurance engineer. Also it is easy to track progress of all the tickets.
What do you dislike about the product?
Too much options provided inside jira without any solid video tutorials might be difficult for new users to grasp. Also time trackers can also be a bit more informative.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Basically we are using jira in our organization to track progress of development and bugs in software development. Benefits are ample and some of being easily tracking tickets and able to see status of all the engineers.

What do you dislike about the product?
It's simply perfect. It provides a service that saves a lot of time for teams, people & and organizations. I don't feel I would say it has any cons. it is simple easy and awesome.

I would suggest it to those who really want to improve their team quality. want to save time, want their product to work smoothly. It is very easy to interate. it has a lot of things. you can track work progree. you can check the team score. you can keep eye on the team. tou can assign the task as per capacity. Budget friendly.

It is a great tool, it is easy to manage and easy to use, with very simple tools for an agile and dynamic use, customization is something that I like because I can customize as much as I want, it really is an easy software to configure, the interface is very intuitive, it has Kanban boards, which are very easy to use, which makes it very easy to follow, supervise and solve tasks, I love the SCRUM boards, I love the platform because it is very visual and the team can monitor the status of tasks or projects, their improvement and evolution, is very accessible and the search and filter function is perfect and optimal.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing I can say about that great tool, I have no bother about it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I like it because the functions are clear, I liked that I can easily share documents with team members, it can also be exported to Excel, it has a high-performance notification system, it also has a backlog, user history, sprints and much more, I love that I can share tasks, assign and delegate functions to other teammates, it is highly customizable which makes it easy to adapt to the needs of the team, it has very good plugins and extensions.

I recommend this software for project management, it is an excellent tool.

The GUI sometimes seems complicated to me.

I can have tracking of all the tasks created within the project release by release. Communication has become easy due to commenting and ticket statuses.

It is the best tool that can meet all your project management requirements. You can integrate their multiple third-party products with Jira to get the most out of it.

With jira we can manage projects and workflow. Also with additional addon apps which jira offers from its market place we can fullfill our all software development needs.

There are many things to learn for mastering the software. Nothing as such I dislike about the project.

We are using jira a project management, streaming releasing and also for test management. Yes with jira and agile our team has been more productive.
