Best Test Management and Project managment Tool
What do you like best about the product?
Being the Quality Assurance Company founder, we need right test management tool which help in defect reporting, tracking and project managment.
Althought listing all the great features of Jira is not possible but some great are below:
- Easy to Bug report and track
It- Awesome tool for project management
- Cool templates available for Agile/Kanaban and other project medthologies
- fast and quick
- Easy to integrate with third-party application
- Awesome in DevOps as well
- Easy to develop work flow and customize fields
and many more features available in it...

What do you dislike about the product?
Trust me I dont have anything to dislike in Jira.. Its bone for Quality Assurance and Agile teams. Must try and highhly recommendable tool.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are using Jira for bug tracking, bud reporting and project managment . it's end to end tool for project managment requirement.

What do you like best about the product?
The ease of handing tasks, linking related tasks and stories together, building different reporting dashboards for multiple stakeholders and numerous available plugins such as test case writing, velocity chard, AIO reports etc to support day to day tracking of tasks.
Integration with other Atlassian suites of products like - confluence, crucible etc.

What do you dislike about the product?
There is no direct way of defining a team's available capacity as we have in other tools like Rally. (Or maybe I'm not aware if we have any such plugin)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We can manage different projects effectively by keeping a track of work progress for each team member, reaching out to relevant stakeholders by tagging them in the ticket itself, releasing the tickets & informing business teams. Overall we have been able to set a platform for effective communication within IT and business teams.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would highly recommend JIRA to teams who are working in Agile

Tracking of task , issues , deliverable all are available at one place so its very helpful for agile team

UI of jira could become more simple as its compitive software like Microsoft software TFS

When working in large team it requires tracking of time for each activity and jira helps to do all those task and helps to work more collaboratively

New user require little bit training because it is little bit complex.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Now I can track progress and time effort on assigned tasks very easily. Create tasks for other team members. I can create roadmap and managing the reports easily.

For first-time users, it takes a while to learn and get a hands-on it.
Especially when you are creating test plans,and need a lot more graphs and tables.

No Need to buy other costly tools, Jira will do almost everything for you.

Jira is one-stop solution for project management and can be considered for all in one use (bug tracking +testcase tracking+ test cycle management + SLA)

What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes, it becomes a bit difficult to find exactly what we need. For example to apply a specific set of filters to display some data, I have to google things
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Helps me keep track of all progress I made corresponding to a task, how much time is spent on the task, logging conversations, discussions and any other relevant information regarding the task, all in the same place
Best to Log Tasks and issues and good coordination between business and tech teams

The tracking of the tasks and issues. Also we can update the latest ongoing status of the Issues. And the best thing is the Jira Board where all the sprint taks ans issues are logged in one screen
What do you dislike about the product?
Its a little hassel to find tasks or issues with keywords. Jira tasks and issues can provide a keyword to the them so that its simple to find them. The Jira ID is not enough.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The current status of jobs are tracked easliy. I log the ongoing status and work going on the task and file upload option is helpful for me as I can intimate client and also share the file required by the client.

Jira has great services. To begin with, For a particular project, there are 3 main paths available: planning, development, and operations.
The Planning board includes Roadmaps, backlogs, reports and a board(Kanban boards, Scrum boards) where we can track any issue/task/bug whether it is selected for development, in process, in testing or completed.
The development menu contains codes and all versions/Releases.
The Operations path has deployment-related stuff.
- workflow, fields, design and task automation can be easily controlled in Jira.

What do you dislike about the product?
There are 2 statuses: selected for development and in progress, sometimes these two, confuse people.
The notification issue is there if someone updates and we don't get notified.
Not easy for new users, it is complex so, it takes enough effort to be comfortable.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Jira daily as a project management and tasks tracker. I primarily use Kanban board to create bug(tracker), tasks (tracker) and add a summary what are requirements to those each tasks. Having it connected to bitbucket is makes the process super easy to release an updated version of the project to any/new branch of the bitbucket repo.
