One spot solution
What do you like best about the product?
Jira is very important for my project as it helps in agile methodologies and help me for the betterment of the automation project in the Westpac banking project for the automation testing and development of the code.
What do you dislike about the product?
There's no such thing as I don't like about Jira. The major problem with jira is that the documentation made in jira are not reusable which makes a big con for using jira, otherwise it's a great tool.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The main problem that my team, Westpac is solving with the help of jira is that we're tracking every data in the form of documentation and to track bugs for the software we develop which makes our work much easier.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It is a great tool and it works very fine for the documentation purpose. You should try it.

What do you like best about the product?
The best part of the Jira core is its easy access and understanding,been using it since years in my organisation for internal communication and to be truly said its awesome
What do you dislike about the product?
There's no such particular things that i dislike about the Jira core but sometimes the extra options available makes it a bit complex to use.The learning of every new option.

I have been using the Jira core in my organisation for preparing workflows, customising workflow and for raising concerns in internally in the company

A great Project Management Tool :)
What do you like best about the product?
It's very well known for Project Management because of how easy it is to break down a complex task into smaller tasks that can be managed more effectively and efficiently. Kanban board, Stories, Epics, Task: Everything is here. You can keep track of the progress of everything very easily. I love the way it can be used to manage all the project-related stuff starting from conceptualizing to the launch and later.
Jira provides a highly detailed dashboard that gives a brief idea about how the project is going on and helps in decision making. There are many reports available in Jira which enables users to gain visibility of the situation. It's very straightforward to use and you can customize the dashboard according to your needs. The simplicity and intuitiveness of the user interface enable collaboration with teammates easier and ultimately get the job done.
Jira can be also integrated with BitBucket, Teams, and Slack.
The real-time notification to its users in times of new updates with issues or some overdue tasks is a lifesaver feature.
I strongly recommend Jira for Project Management which can save your time and sanity.

I don't have much to dislike. However, I think beginners will find it a little complex but there are plenty of resources online to begin with and get started with Jira.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I found it helpful to solve day-to-day developments. This helps the team invest their time and provides high productivity at the end of the day by enabling the team to identify the priority of the job they're assigned. It also keeps the team on track by easily following the Agile Methodology for rapid and continuous software development and fixing bugs.
A powerful product for better project management
What do you like best about the product?
One place to look for your project progress is as it has many tools like creating Jira tickets and manually setting the status of the tickets as well. This way we have a clear view of the current status of the project. And if we use bit bucket, we can also see the commits for that specific ticket which is my personal favorite feature.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing wrong with the product. I am just nit-picking. The price is quite expensive. And also it is quite confusing to onboard the whole new project and setting up everything. Once done everything is super smooth.

Major problems that were solved while using Jira are as follows:
1) Tracking project progress.
2) If setup with bitbucket, we can also track commits for that particular ticket.
3) If we add a tempo plugin we can track hours for that particular ticket.

One of the best industry standard project trackers
What do you like best about the product?
The cross platform availability and the ability to add in third party software/services
What do you dislike about the product?
It's incompatible with certain third-party project trackers and thus becomes difficult to port to or migrate to.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Most of the project tracking is done via Jira and it gives a great birds eye view of the entire project for both the leadership team and the clients

Jira lets me evaluate and manage projects in a convenient way. Logging works makes it easier to track work and progress.
What do you dislike about the product?
The UI/UX needs revamp. Some sort of tutorial for beginner users can be a better option.

Tracking my work and work logs has been easier and proof of work can be extracted from the logs when needed. Also it helps show the current state of the project.

Great tool for tracking project progress. We can easily create tickets and assign tasks to the team members . It helps to maintain project pipeline. It works on both methology agile and waterfall. Secure and easy to use tool.

Nothing as such really useful tool for all types of projects.

Project management becomes easy with Jira
What do you like best about the product?
Jira is built for project management be in agile or waterfall. Be it accountibility, escalation or planning, All features are deigned to make PM and team corporate life easy. Recommended to one and all.
What do you dislike about the product?
Too many emails are generated, should do with little lesser emails. More visual plugin or free tools should be enabled.

Project management, its features and moving away from manual excel features
A great tool for Agile
What do you like best about the product?
It is easy to create sprint tickets in Jira. You can ask questions to the stakeholders by directly mentioning them and the person will get an automated email. With help of burn down chart and the ticket, workflow helps you to track the entire sprint progress.
What do you dislike about the product?
Compared to TFS, JIRA is a bit complicated. You may have to give a bit of training to a new joined if they have never worked on JIRA as some people may find dev and test task association to a ticket a bit complicated.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We used JIRA to manage the project sprints. The tool was used to maintain stories, dev/test tasks, queries, code checking details, and completed hours. This ultimately helped us in delivering sprints on time.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would highly recommend this tool as many companies are using this tool for project management or bug tracking purposes.
