Needs to be easier to view completed sprints and analytics on individual performance. Better timeline/roadmap planning

Additionally, the system supports scalable issue management and thorough backlog grooming, making it a comprehensive solution for project management.
What do you dislike about the product?
The interface is highly complex, with an overwhelming number of configuration options that can make it difficult to navigate. Performance tends to be slow, especially when working with large boards, and the user interface often feels cluttered. The onboarding process is steep, and the rigid hierarchy structures can be limiting. There is also a lot of notification noise, which can be distracting, and bulk editing is challenging to manage. Additionally, handling dependencies is often cumbersome, and the premium add-ons are quite expensive.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This tool excels at eliminating task ambiguity and preventing project bottlenecks, making sprint planning much more efficient. It centralizes bug tracking and automates manual status updates, which helps keep everyone on the same page. Synchronizing remote teams becomes easier, and the platform provides data-driven insights while visualizing workflow velocity. Managing resource allocation is straightforward, and it ensures transparency around deadlines.

Jira helps us to manage the tasks in a hierarchical manner, helps us to keep the record of all the reported concerns and tickets, it helps us to maintain our TAT

As a team manager in the software industry, I am always looking for tools that help me organize and manage all our projects efficiently. The perfect solution for us was Jira.

The learning curve can be a bit steep, especially for users with no prior experience in project management.

The wide variety of options for customizing workflows and real-time reports saves us a lot of time and gives us complete control over the progress of our projects, both individually and as a team.

It is widely used 3 of my last 4 companies uses it, it is easy to use and super helpful in mangaing our tasks and sprints and keep our tasks updated

nothing specifc, but maybe search functionality for older tickets can be made more easy, some time it takes me a while to findout what i am looking for

Managing our tasks and bugs, keeping track of our work progress, it is helpful in alligning with other team members i can know their progress and status by just checking our board, it also serves as documentation once tickets are done

I like the aging of tickets feature, the ability to create dashboards, and the multiple filter capability in Jira. It helps me track my work efficiently and provides great leadership insights with project visibility at both the lowest and highest levels. It increases my team's ability to report data, capture incomplete work, and ensure that the work gets done. Setting up Jira was easy, as it allowed us to create status workflows, maintain the breakdown of different ticket types, and set up multiple boards within a project to define multiple agile teams.
What do you dislike about the product?
I definitely think Jira could improve by adding the ability to add more custom themes. Maybe it could also offer the ability to integrate with Figma as a prototype tool.

I use Jira to track tickets, provide traceability, efficiently track my work, and gain project visibility. Its features, like aging tickets and dashboards, enhance team reporting, capture incomplete work, and ensure task completion.

Difficult in tracking task bugs and requirements using emails , easy collaboration through comments and notification

I like that Jira is free for small-scale use and integrates well with Confluence for documentation and Bitbucket. I appreciate its functionality to handle tasks, sub-tasks, epics, and stories, which helps me manage my startup's product development effectively. Setting up Jira was super easy for my team.

It's like I am locked in to use Bitbucket, not easily integrated with GitHub, and also the AI part is missing.
