Atlassian Jira - Feels little complex at first but a huge time saver and a best workspace.
What do you like best about the product?
I have been working with this organization(can't name it) for the last 2 years and they insisted working on JIRA and at first, I was pulling my hair out by just looking at their UI but over time I got used to it and slowly I started realizing that it is probably the best project management tool. Hundreds of employees/contractors can work on the same project or different workflows without exchanging tons of emails and any mess for that matter. I like how you can assign tasks set deadlines and add people to it to track the progress and make all the communications in one thread. Not only useful for one project but different departments from one big organization can also exchange/update files and manage the project.
What do you dislike about the product?
As I said it's a bit overwhelming at first but as you start to use it every day it becomes a habit and you start to get used to it. Managing notifications are a little tricky in a desktop browser.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am a freelancer/remote worker and my client added me to their workspace in JIRA and basically, we never exchanged any emails or has a call, etc. All are work-related communications and the project management is handled on JIRA. They assign me the task with the required assets and project manager etc and I work on my own and update them on JIRA which I think is very flexible.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Blessing for a remotely working huge organizations or industry. Father of all product management tools out there.
JIRA Cloud is sluggish
What do you like best about the product?
Task management, Drag and drop, moving/editing of tasks. The administration of tasks is also easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
When large group of people collaborate under a single organization in JIRA cloud specifically, it can get sluggish and annoying to use really quickly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Project Managent, Task Scheduling, QA, Bugs etc. Everything you can mostly think of in a Software development Life cycle.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Please know that its not easy to move from JIRA Cloud to JIRA Core.

What do you like best about the product?
It's very easy to make the task and you can easily search your open issues and pending issues without any hassle
What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing notifying thing to dislike but yes it doesn't have fonts options
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I create tasks for my team and also can track their tasks (open issues) easily, i can also get notifications in my linked gmail account if they make any changes to their report, so i can easily catch the mistake if they make and can be resolved right away
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I always tell to the team leaders of other department that they should use this Jira software to make the task of their team members and easily track it from anywhere
Very resourceful project management software
What do you like best about the product?
JIRA has it all, be it Scrum or Kanban board. You can easily create swim lanes and move projects around. Managing sprints on the board and being able to view reports makes it easy to track your velocity.
What do you dislike about the product?
To get to the real benefits, there is a steep learning curve at the beginning. Most of the time you need a dedicated person on the team to manage the boards for you.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use it for Managing the sprints and the day-to-day tasks. It makes it easy to track the progress in the sprint and over multiple sprints.
Smart planning with Jira
What do you like best about the product?
Jire provides per step a good overview of everything that should be done; every step goes into several iterations and that works very well in this software module. Whenever something is not correct, we can convert it back and go a step deeper into the process to have everything fixed before going into the next step of development of the installation that helps us to have a good overview of all the work done and the percentage of completion
What do you dislike about the product?
Each step gives a new notification or can lead to a new notification by e-mail that could be summarized much more efficient so that you have a global scope of all the work done the total of development of the tasks and the project and will lead to better results because now everything is in detail but not in de global overview sheet
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Nothing really should have a fix, but it would help if there would be a good summary of each process and project. This will help that we as developers can also see it on a global overview instead of going into granularity and not seeing the total overview of the project.

Nothing that really needs a fi,x but a good summary and overview status would really help.

Love that you can separate out by projects/products, assign individual team members to each board, assign story points for velocity management, etc!

Permissions are diverse. But unclear who can do what sometimes,

Task management! Really helps streamline the workflow.
Can be Great, after the learning curve
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to use JQL to create the exact views, filters is a nice trait compared to some less technical project management/scrum tools
What do you dislike about the product?
There's a steep learning curve to get to the point where JIRA works for you. Setting up dashboards could be far easier and would make product adoption on new teams/less technical teams much easier.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Great way to track work completion and backlog projects. Connectivity to other Atlassian suite products also proves quite useful (issue collectors forms in confluence flow into JIRA)
Best Issue tracking tool ever!
What do you like best about the product?
Jira helps track all issues, releases, active sprints. It has a Scrum board, a backlog function, project pages, and the ability to create dashboard reports.
What do you dislike about the product?
I honestly do not have anything in mind that I dislike about Jira

Product development issue tracking, tracking releases + the backlog & scrum board are beneficial.

You can't go wrong with Jira, and check out the Atlassian university if you get stuck.
