A software you can't live without

What do you like best about the product?
Can work with numerous workflows, view from a high level on several teams, and drill down to the task.
Automatic gantts, etc.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes causes overhead when using it, but that's all the software in this sgement.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Project management, task management, easy understanding of project life cycle

What do you like best about the product?
JIRA is the most efficient project management tool out there. Any organization can use it at any level. The agile project features it offers are outstanding and are unmatched by any other tool. Functionalities such as Bulk updates, velocity charts, reports, add/revoke user access on different levels, and design dashboards as per project requirement.
What do you dislike about the product?
Downtime, and since it's been widely used on the cloud now, sometimes the application gets stuck or becomes unresponsive.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have been using JIRA for almost five years and have designed multiple dashboards for reporting, which presented insights of the project to the higher officials.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Ease of use, cost-effective, available on the cloud, unimaginable customizations, incredible reporting.

What do you like best about the product?
Definetely Kanbar Board and Component Structure. It is effortless to distribute and assign tasks. I can say that it is really like overview screen for our roadmap.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is no auto saving for the task's description. Sometimes I forget to save long briefs and lose them. It is sad because I had to rewrite :(
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a startup company, we are planning our sprint and to-dos with jira. We have customized columns for our expectations (Such as "released" column to see which feature or bug fix live on current application). We are also using bugsee integration so creating task is extremely easy to bug tracking

Real source of trust for any business

What do you like best about the product?
The best thing is in today's world, every business, whether it is support or development, customer management, or anything else, Jira is a must which is the natural source of trust.
The best thing about Jira is that it made life simpler for professionals to work on tasks.
It has an excellent user interface where we can start a sprint and end it. We can do estimation we can put story points.
It has a complete form to create a task assign and to track the activity which is happening.
Without Jira, it is tough to survive in IT and business support.
One should follow Jira for systematic processing of the Task.
It has made task refinement and allocations very simple and easily trackable.
What do you dislike about the product?
I cannot think of anything which Jira can improve. They can provide a new dashboard with a better User Interface which can enhance look and feel of using Jira.
Else there is nothing we can say as it is a very systematic managed tool for professionals.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Major problem solving is that it is on the cloud, and you can track all the tasks whenever and where ever you want to follow.
The other best part is the simplicity of creating task allocating to other and making subtask under it.
We can raise issues put comments to raise queries. Everything in Jira is so systematic, and that's why it is called a real source of trust for professionals.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Definitely for working professionals, I will recommend Jira to enhance the process of their business.

There is nothing much to dislike :
1. missing fields for severity
2. Test cases writing capabilities is missing

1. streamline the software development life cycle.
2. Tracking the project progress based on its velocity.

What do you like best about the product?
Drag-drop feature,
Backlog as well as Kanban board, both in one app.
Real-time progress tracking
What do you dislike about the product?
It takes a while to get to know how to use it, but once you do, there's no going back!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Solving all the user stories tracking, Test, and Test executions in JIRA along with defects!
The linking feature is amazing. There is no need to create a manual Requirement Traceability Matrix as we can directly export it out of JIRA. I love this feature.

Effective tracking of Development

What do you like best about the product?
We can distribute teams to smaller groups and create boards to track the progress on issues. Can create Development boards to track progress daily in stand-ups. Provides real-time tracking of stories in the sprint. Consolidated platform for all defects, so planning on the work is easy. For Agile and for Waterfall model as well we can plan on Jira. We can design and develop our own workflows as per our need.
What do you dislike about the product?
If we create sub-tasks in one story, it is not easy to track the story in Sprint. Creating and maintaining the board is heck tick work. Sometimes if you do not have permission to perform a specific action, you have to wait to complete it. If team members are on leave, we can not track it in Jira for effective planning.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We can not think of Agile development without Jira. Jira is easy to use and effective for real-time tracking of stories. Team bandwidth is planned effectively in Jira; it will be excellent for effective planning of sprints. Custom workflow development.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Consider your company's requirements first before getting Jira. Jira is excellent and feature-rich software.

Solid product development with Jira

What do you like best about the product?
It's a comprehensive and effective tool for managing the creation and development of product features. It's easy to collaborate with colleagues and has everything I need to manage the build of my products alongside it's sister platform Confluence.
What do you dislike about the product?
There was definitely a learning curve for me with learning to use Jira efficiently. It wasn't as self-explanatory and easy for me to navigate, there was some trial and error and I needed help on the best way to use it (as well as what worked well for our team), however after some time I have become quite confident on it and am much more comfortable searching how to use new products/features/tools on it than I was before, I just think at the beginning it may be a little intimidating to some.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are solving the product development lifecycle of both our products and workstreams by being able to effectively manage multiple development teams across one platform, and the workstreams within each time. It's easy to move between each as well as within each team to collaborate and manage dependencies.
