Best project management tool

What do you like best about the product?
It provides a way to practice an agile methodology. Jira UI is awesome if we compare it to other project management tools. Creating a Jira ticket is so easy from Jira UI, that you can put the status of your work. The manager can create a sprint for 21d or 14d work as per his/her choice. It provides a flow for project development and management. It's really easy to manage everything from Jira board.
What do you dislike about the product?
Initially, it is not easy to understand workflow and how to work on Jira. One thing I noticed is that if anyone knows your ticket ID then he or she can change the status of your work without your permission if he /she has group permission.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Fast and easy development of the current project. easy to manage workflow for managers. great product to work on. Till now, I have found it easy to work on and great learning for beginners as well.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Highly recommended for large projects. easy to work on.

What do you like best about the product?
I like best the integrations with Confluence and the ability to configure for absolutely every single scenario or workflow.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike the fact that I cannot clone multiple tickets at the same time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Jira for everything related to tickets and project management.

What do you like best about the product?
Integrations with other tools are excellent. Workflow automation and customization are terrific. The ability to have Kanban-style dashboards with drag and drop functionality and detailed customizable lists is a daily feature I use. Having multiple projects to seperate my tickets is great, and having the ability to cross link across projects is awesome.
What do you dislike about the product?
Customization and configuration are incredibly difficult and cumbersome. Configuring user security is friendly and flexible, but there are just too many checkboxes. Workflow customization is a bit of a nightmare to find where you put things. Example: auto-assign on a specific stat change. There are about five places that it can be done and no indication on where it was done when you want to edit. The latest release of the UI has made automatically creating related tickets much more cumbersome than it used to be.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Ticket tracking, work assignment, and process automation. The tools help enforce the workflow process. Sure, people can still go around the system, but the process has helped us cut down tremendously on dev time and lost requests.

Not a straightforward solution if you want to start fast. Many configurations must be done to fit the needs of the things that you want to define and track.

What do you like best about the product?
Jira will keep track of anything. The entire software product life cycle of such a ticket can be tracked easily. Prioritizing the Project tasks is very easy in Jira.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing Downsides noticed with Jira Project Management Tool.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Jira is now a very effective method for tracking project status. Furthermore, the interactive charts it offers include team leaders with a good image of the project.

What do you like best about the product?
It has been a great tool in project management for our team. We currently finished a months long project with the help of the Jira App. I am the main one who assigned the task so it was easy to do from my phone or anywhere at all really.

It also makes for a good checklist since it is divided into sections. To-do, In progress, done.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't have many complaints. My first thought is that I can't drag and drop my completed task from one side to the other from my phone.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It saves a lot of time when you are creating a visual layout and organizing for large scale projects.

Great Sprint Management

What do you like best about the product?
Our whole team can collaborate on our tasks for each sprint. Being able to pull in tasks from our multi-role team makes it easier for leadership to see and track the amount of effort we are putting into making our customers successful. Drag and drop make prioritizing very easy. I like the concept of the "Epic" for managing groups of tasks. Out engineering team depends on Jira to manage all of their Sprints as well. We also use it for our weekly check-in between engineering and account management and publishing teams. The ability to assign tasks to different team members that may play different roles in the organization makes it a powerful tool. When an organization can unify one tool it creates much greater efficiency than team suing tools to track activities and circles back to leadership being able to track across the organization.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is no Gantt chart view out of the box which makes defining critical path more difficult than other tolls that I have used in the past. I have done project management leveraging many tools in the past from MS project to Monday to AirTable. I think those tools do a much better job at providing better visualization that is shareable with the end customer than when you are using Jira as a project management tool for projects that extend past the internal participants and stakeholders
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use it for managing a diverse team of support account management as well as project management. Engineering uses it to manage our sprints. We use Jira for all of our bug trackings. Our publisher support team uses it to help track our individual workloads as we have a diverse team on customer support, account management, implementation, training, and another few key specialized roles. One of the key benefits is being able to have the organization use the same tool for different departments. This solves the issue of maintaining different tools and saves time from having to create additional integrations.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Great for teams with different roles. I think once you get used to task setting it is an extremely valuable tool for tracking workloads. I would think of Jira as a tool that is much more than an engineering tool but also a tool for basic project management. The concept of being able to use an epic and roll up many tasks gives it the ability to track more complex projects and assign tasks out to individuals for completion. Establishing a unified tool that many different departments can use provides better scalability and also makes it easier if employees eventually move around to new parts of the organization in that they do not need to learn a whole new toolset.

why we need jira?

What do you like best about the product?
Jira has the overall solution for project management and task management. It provides a beneficial service to track the overall task within the organization. Mainly it helps a lot avoid duplicate effects. Moreover, its REST APIs are very flexible to integrate with our custom solutions.
What do you dislike about the product?
I has been working with Jira for the last two year, but I still did not feel anything terrible. However, its version upgrade process requires considerable human effort and time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
In our organization, we have multiple teams and departments. Hence, most of the time, various teams need to be involved and worked on a single project. In such scenarios, we had the issue that would frequently share process status with required teams. Most of the time, we failed to do that because of that, we used to face several inconveniences. After we adopt the jira, we can frequently update the progress information about the given task on the specific project.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It is an overall solution for project management. If you want to track all the tasks and projects within an organization, you can go for Jira.

What do you like best about the product?
Project wise KANBAN makes it easier for us users to have clear look at the cases. Also, the notifications and the watch option make it better to track the issues or bugs reported. Over all it gives us a clear picture of what is happening with our registered bugs or issues. And the comment and tagging in the comment help to communicate and follow up with the other teams who will be working on our reported issues or bugs, which make this tool a great one for collaboration.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is a lot to explore yet with Jira. But for now didn't find anything which I can write here.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being in a Customer facing role we use to communicate with the other teams to work on the reported bugs
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Nothing as of now. There are a lot many features which I am looking forward to reviewing and using it extensively to increase the productivity and reduce the manual work taken out.
