Ideal tool for any manager of project
What do you like best about the product?
This is a tool that blows the mind. It's an entirely rich feature. It's extremely easy to use functionality. It has excellent customization capabilities. It is an ideal tool for problem and bug tracking. It allows us to organize the development of all stories. The learning appears steep at first, but after you get used to it has become ridiculously strong.
What do you dislike about the product?
No Cons I have seen yet. Initially, it may be difficult to use, but you just like to use it after fairly acquainted with that too. It is able to do everything in the best possible way.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's the best way to handle faults. It is an excellent tool to create various workflows for multiple projects. It also gives us a chance to personalize your pages and their flows. Another thing is good.

What do you dislike about the product?
The new web UI needs improvement. The Mac app lacks almost all the features.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Track project. Distribute tasks and start/stop sprints.
JIRA - One of the best agile tool out there
What do you like best about the product?
I really like JIRA, it has made life easy. Since the time we have been using it, it has made us track the progress/velocity of the team really well. It is reliable in terms of velocity calculation, to predict how well our team may perform next sprint. The epics can be broken down easily and user stories belonging to an epic can be tracked effectively and even visually. I like the fact as to how effective this tool can be used across the organization irrespective of their physical location. This tool can be customized to meet individual organization needs.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is not friendly to use in the beginning But once you learn how to use it, you'll start loving it - there is a need for training here!
During Product Backlog refinement, one should be very careful moving the items to change the priority, there is no undo option here :(
The mobile app is not very friendly and can be improved to a great extent.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
All our Scrum ceremonies are made easy with this tool, be it product backlog refinement, planning, stand up, or retro! We also track the progress of individual task using this software and this gives us a clear picture of the status of the work items (yet to start/ in progress/blocked/done)
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Jira is my personal favorite, especially when compared to Microsoft's TFS. The ease of using this software once you have a hang of it is really good. I would say, go for it!
The most frustrating project management software we've used.
What do you like best about the product?
With our current terrible experience with Jira it's really hard to think about features that we like. Due to how Jira behaves and how often they force changes in the design in a work-distruptive way, we developed a feeling that anything that could land in the "like" bucket either has flaws or works in choppy way (as Jira in general works) or it will be moved/removed/changed soon by the Jira team.
What do you dislike about the product?
Oh, there are many:
- Disruptive forced changes to the software - Jira is complex software and you have to first set it up, which takes a lot of time, and then learn the setup and the software itself, which also takes time. That alone would be fine IF Jira team would not change what you just set up or learned in a way that you have to change your setup or at least you have to relearn it - to find out that they moved, removed or changed that button that you use each day. And most frustrating part of it is that Jira forces you to move to their changes - you cannot stay to the design and functionality you've spent so much time setting up and learning about.
- Slow, choppy performance - it is very often when you see how the page jumps, freezes which in turn makes you wait until it stops before you can move on with the work. This happens on 2017 Macbook Pro with 3,5 GHz Intel Core i7 and 16GB of RAM. Also there are times where Jira makes my laptop super-hot and spins fans like crazy.
- Very chaotic UI - few examples: editing: some items you edit by clicking on it which brings up inline editor, sometimes you need to click Edit button and you won't ever remember what you edit which way; Features access - for example ticket's "Add flag" function is probably (I couldn't be bothered to find out all possibilities) showing only in one specific view (the board's ticket preview mode) but it's impossible to find in other ticket views - Jira forces you to memorize where you can do something; Sorting of comments - in some places it's ordered in ascending order while in others in descending order.
- Search sometimes is unable to find tickets
- Ignorant approach to users requests - just check their page for feature requests - there are features with thousands upvotes not being implemented or even commented by Jira team for years now.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are trying to keep track of the project progress that could be used across different teams in our company.
We realised that we are very close to take the huge effort to move to some other service which might improve the way we work - it is probably just another one forced design change in Jira away.

Jira-Best managemement software
What do you like best about the product?
I like how you can easily track, create, and view multiple tasks and can easily put them into a category.Jira allows me to view my time tracking, different projects assigned, issues and reports. It allows me to see average age reports, finished tasks , Resolution Time report and allows me to see my data in tabular and pie chart forms which makes it easy to keep track of data.
What do you dislike about the product?
The filter option on the data sometimes is very slow to react and the timespent report has to been differently for every 3 months.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Large Volumes of report are analysed in my company everyday and its easier to handle such amount of data with data tags and subtasks to easily seperating them

Fantastic tool to create tasks, track issues and integrate status with bitbuckets version control
What do you like best about the product?
I can manage my tasks and issues from creation to release easily. availability of mobile app to manage the same helps me update status and other information while am travelling or when not in front of my laptop. Jira query language is an icing on the cake.
What do you dislike about the product?
recent updates to UI looks a bit messy. the previous version was better.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
easy to manage tickets which goes through multiple life cycles like 'to do', 'in progress','complete','Ready on test'.... it helps product manager to keep a track on the progress and also the QA team is kept updated on when to start testing the tickets...
it helps all the parties including developer , manager and QA from creation of task untill they are tested and released.

Recommendations to others considering the product:
if u are Looking for tool to manage software development life cycle more efficiently while equally helpin the product manager , developer and tester, then u should consider this tool.
A very useful tool for every company!
What do you like best about the product?
For the last 3 companies i have work for, Jira was the main tool for collaboration and tracking about bugs, issues and improvements of the software that we are producing. I really like how easy is for someone to understand and use it. Also i am really impressed of how many extensions has been developed for this tool and for collaboration with other tools lick slack and google apps.
What do you dislike about the product?
During my time on using this tool (like every day) i can say that it needs to be much more lightweight for using it on a PC. My laptop is not in the category of top performance CPU's and Jira in most cases need 6-7 seconds to show me the ticket i am looking and more than 15 sec to completely load the full page of the window. Maybe if you are not using any add-on, it will be faster.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Jira is a very powerful tool when you need to capture an issue, collaborate with your colleges or customers for it and inform everyone about it. It really help my company solve all the issues with the customers and also not spending much time for the issue to go manually for one role to the other. You can set from the beginning all the roles that are involved on the ticket.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I can recommend Jira to anyone looking for a bug tracking and information management web based with full support of any known add-on that they can think of.
