Effective project mgmt tool for agile projects.
What do you like best about the product?
Extensively customisable to cater all sorts of projects. Dashboard and widgets are user friendly and easy to setup.
What do you dislike about the product?
Need additional plugins for test case mgmt.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Complete project mgmt in one place. From incoming change requests to dev and test tracking and burn down charts.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Mostly useful in agile based projects. Reporting abd tracking is particularly easy through dashboards and widgets.
Rock solid product that helps you build your own product or manage your projects
What do you like best about the product?
The tool helps you with organization of all IT development tasks and needs; be it sprint planning, releases, version tracking and more. Simple UI yet a powerful architecture puts Jira way ahead of its competitors.
What do you dislike about the product?
There's nothing much to dislike, however, the product seems to lack an ML engine. In this era of AI, a market-leading product like Jira should have a machine learning engine and recommendation system.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
When working with Jira, you don't even release that it is taking care of problems such as task prioritization and assignment, progress reporting and tracking, issue management. Such is the impact of Jira that you don't get bothered by operational issues and can focus on your core competency.
Jira is the most advanced tool to manage projects/teams and to monitor the progress of work plan
What do you like best about the product?
I like customizable nature of Jira. Depending on the team size or structure, you can customize Jira boards and task instrastructure.
It is also very efficiently connected to the other Atlassian tools and 3rd party services.
It is also very efficiently connected to the other Atlassian tools and 3rd party services.
What do you dislike about the product?
Teams and projects are not stable, they are changing repeatadly, when Jira stays unchanged on that path, it becomes very hard to manage projects in the team. I believe, there should be a dedicated person for Jira such as a Scrum Master.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Project management, Sprint management, Time logging and monitor expectations vs reality on work.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Jira has great futures when it comes to integration. I would recommend using those especially with other Atlassian tools such as Bitbucket, Confluence. Or if you are working with GitHub, you can connect your pull requests to the tasks automatically.
Best tool for agile project management
What do you like best about the product?
The user interface and reports that are generated by Jira are best in class. It makes your overall project management easy. Kanban board and Gantt chart are seamless which helps you to handle complex projects and big team sizes
What do you dislike about the product?
Generating reports that are tailor made for specific customer needs becomes difficult. The default report generated is not so readable and it has to be again processed before being shared in a forum/discussion
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Project management
Recommendations to others considering the product:
best tool for agile project management and good for tracking working hours as well
A handy tool for project management but complex to analyse fata data
What do you like best about the product?
Track of ongoing task and pending tasks.
What do you dislike about the product?
I couldn't get meaningful trends from my tasks timelines.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
To streamline the employees perday tasks and to evaluate it for yearly assessment.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you are newbie to project management tools, then surely a handy tool to start.
Another of the greatest ability to create products or projects
What do you like best about the product?
The work that we do in our organization is very flexible and very well fitted. It supports the workflow of both kanban and standard sprint planning and is also very adaptable. For planning projects and establishing story points, it is particularly useful. These are protected in the shortfall and that you can organize them according to their weight, assessment and priority.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's a bit overcomplicated because it has a whole lot of flexible features, such as trying to switch for both bim and sprint board members for planning phase. It also needs some training, but period and trying to learn curve are also worth it. It is also not very cheap, and if you've had a huge team, a accounts are added fast as you have to pay individually for every user.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It perfectly aligns with our flexible product development techniques and endorses a lot of additional features that make things even easier, because you have all with one location but also you don't miss anything.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Have at it, tracking, creating and planning sprints and tracking bugs is very easy. You're all in one position. It is rather costly, but the market value with all of the other available interfaces and the agility it provides in the form of customization certainly worth it.
JIRA is good for planning, tracking, and managing your app or software development projects
What do you like best about the product?
Jira has evolved into a powerful work management tool. It is not difficult to use and can be tailored to your team's unique needs.
What do you dislike about the product?
You pay by the number of users which can increase your costs. We needed to divide into teams and use joined accounts.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Issue tracking and Product development
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you need Issue tracking, Check Mark Project-level permissions, Check Mark Estimation & work logging, Check Mark Project backlogs, Check Mark Progress reports and Check Mark Scrum boards - JIRA is the right tool for you.
Jira Core a complete workflow management software
What do you like best about the product?
Jira Core is a platform that offers one of the best workflow management systems. This includes functions that allow establishing due dates for projects, assigning responsibilities and adding attachments to the platform, in addition to this, it has a varied set of predefined templates that allow following up the projects that are being executed
What do you dislike about the product?
Jira Core has an antiquated and not very intuitive interface, it is software that lacks integration with third parties, it does not have views in Gantt diagrams as well as it does not offer views of the progression of projects in time line, in terms of resource management it is still far behind other programs
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Jira Core is very frequently used in our organization mainly to manage projects and assign tasks for business teams, thanks to the flexibility of this software we use it in different departments such as marketing, legal, manufacturing and human resources, besides this it has offered us a lot of tools to develop applications such as access control, software development and accounting testing. I consider that our organization has made a leap in quality since we implemented Jira Core
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I recommend Jira Core because it is one of the best platforms for agile project and task management, it is an effective tool to establish project due dates, the cost plans of Jira Core are very economical perfect for organizations that are just starting their business and finally I also recommend it as a tool for application development
Using Jira to keep track of assignments
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to organize the tasks assigned to me and see what my co-workers are up to.
What do you dislike about the product?
The automatic logoff becomes kind of inconvenient after continuous use.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Organizing the development of software solutions using the PEGA platform with the SCRUM agile methodology.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you want to efficiently keep track of your assigned development tasks, Jira is an excellent option.
Great Detailed Project Management Tool
What do you like best about the product?
JIRA allows the user to keep a detailed record of projects and all of the project's pieces - in terms of the project management tools that I have used up to this point, I would definitely say that it's the one that lends itself most to detailed project tracking. Of course, it also lends itself for use best for development-related projects with some of its fields and features, but it still holds plenty of value for project management outside of this function/team.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is definitely a learning curve for some that should be considered with Jira. That said, it can certainly keep a more detailed
Also, due to the complexity of issues, projects, and specifications it can handle, certain views (like Open Issues) may be visually overwhelming at times with the amount of text present in one/a few side-by-side windows. Again though, it's a tradeoff with features and specificity that this tool allows for.

Jira is used as a project management tool primarily for development work, but is used across the organization. As stated above, it helps to keep track of larger, longer, or more complicated projects.
