Simple and easy tool for story and defect management
What do you like best about the product?
I use Jira everyday for my work and I can’t stress enough how simple and easy it is to create an epic, story or bugs. The fact that you can link multiple tickets with each other is helpful for anyone to get a full picture. We can create different workflows for different projects and moving from one status to another is pretty simple.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like to see a shortcut to enable smart querying and advanced search. Right now I have to type some text in the search box to get in to smart query mode.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Effective management of initiatives, stories and bugs. I really like the fact that all of these can be linked to each other for easy navigation. The Jira admin can configure permissions as required and they can be managed in house.
JIRA Software Review
What do you like best about the product?
I like the ease of use to create new tickets and subtasks and how to utilize the Kanban feature and then individual buckets for smaller or side projects.
What do you dislike about the product?
The new UI was rolled out very poorly. It changed a lot from before and I feel the UX has gone downhill. The base features are great but they made some things too confusing like how to access boards, limiting ability to add images to comments and subtask details.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are using this to organize all of our sprints for developers to work off of. We have been able to streamline sprints and have devs pull tickets from Kanban quite easily.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Use JIRA with the Confluence system as well to keep all pertinent info in one area.

Very useful for managing high-demand projects.
What do you like best about the product?
This software is very excellent because it is a great tool to help finish a project with good performance, guarantee and security, it is very easy to use because you can add tasks and stories of the jobs that are being done or have been done effectively in the company, it contains a great feature of interactions, statistical possibilities and has a function to solve directly the problems by chat to contain an innovative functionality of great potential and very easy to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
I had problems with jira since it is a little slow because of its respective mechanism of use for small and medium equipment since at the time of a quick solution it is usually a little slow because of its platform due to many equipment in one, it allows less speed and more difficult for it to navigate as it should be, its bills accumulate quickly due to the use of its software platform causing if you have a good development equipment a fast consumption and an expensive price of the application.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have used this software to manage projects of my company that I have found a lot since it is a great system of tools to report on agile and standard development work I use it mainly to track the errors that occur or are causing problems in my company's projects to solve the error and use it to protect my development progress on the functionality of the daily tasks and projects of my company.

I recommend this system because it has helped me to solve, protect and store my projects with great level managed by its innovative functionality that allows a good use reliable, executive and differential to other software that I have used for that type of requirement of products that generate great quality of service and good organizer of problems focused on a follow-up to assign the activity of a team.
Jira workflow helps you to make a professional work
What do you like best about the product?
You have the option to set up the project privately or publicly and that way you have control of the people who can observe certain types of private projects. Jira has a wide variety of options in product management solutions and marketing plans. Jira has a fast and very stable interface, compatible with almost all devices. It is very easy to use to manage tasks and has the ability to integrate with many similar packages
What do you dislike about the product?
Productivity and business management functions are incomplete. Invoicing tools, note management and presentation tools are needed. There is no task available for database or document creation. A lot of experience is needed to be able to handle advanced workflow functions. Updated software cost prices are high for many new companies
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The supervision of our employees can be done in a comfortable and orderly way, there are other project management software to which the supervisions do not work properly. We are very well organized now because we can edit and change the tasks of a specific work group, so that everyone has the same amount of work, except for those who are more trained and can support more work. Because the software is very intuitive, we can track specific problems in the work being done
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Customer service is not always available during regular business hours, so it is important to change this. There are features to be improved such as portfolio management, creating an approval workflow and problem resolution reports. The Gantt chart could also be more complete

What do you like best about the product?
Jira is the go-to project management tool in software engineering and all teams I worked at use it. It is a very comprehensive solution with very good integrations for most tools such as Github, Gitlab and Slack.
What do you dislike about the product?
Jira's user interface can be slow and laggy. Some features are hidden and hard to find for non-power-users.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Agile project management in software engineering. Management of sprints, epics and individual tickets.

It is the defacto standard in software engineering. However, there are more user-friendly and cheaper solutions available from other vendors.
Jira used for marketing
What do you like best about the product?
Ease of collaboration between workers and departments - either on the office or mobile, there is always the ability to stay informed and see projects. Integration with slack really helps our work group be aware of changing projects or items that need immediate attention.
What do you dislike about the product?
Lack of useful reporting. Takes plug-ins and being a superuser to be able to extract data. Jira is powerful enough to be used for just about any work that needs to be monitored for a work group/project. We find it very powerful in that regard but we need to be able to pull out history of the issues so we can review performance of certain issues (campaigns). In marketing, this is done through crunching numbers/SEO performance/clicks & views, etc. Customizing boards is also a bit tedious. So powerful but also difficult to admin and customize for applications like marketing. It isn't really made for historical reviewing of issues and reporting metrics.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
JIRA helps us move marketing projects through the process faster. Multiple departments now have visibility on all of the stages of an issue. We no longer have to walk around a project through a manual review/approval process. We can also request assistance on a particular item and resolve it SO MUCH faster. In general, JIRA has had a tremendous affect on our productivity.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Setup is critical to long term satisfaction. When in doubt, stay simple. When boards and views are complicated, it tends to bog down users.

Several tasks of different areas, solution timmings, and teams that with JIRA are all managed in one place and traceable all the time, as well as status visualization.

Despite the customization not beeing the best, it is a really usefull and easy to use tool.

the ease to use the application is awesome. To create dashboards, to create queries. Very big projects can be easily managed

Comments cannot be deleted, so we have to put atleast one character
