Tools to manage projects are useful and effective
What do you like best about the product?
Jira is one of the most intelligent project management software which allows users to trace, prioritize and delegate tasks in a simple way. It has several positive points such as its support for the Scrum and Kanban methodologies which allows planning teams and their different tasks in a flexible and fast way, has a very effective function that allows you to track the time spent on each task you can also add tags to each of them and know if such projects are in development or under review, this is a software with a fluid and intuitive platform that seamlessly integrates all its tools and also has simple operation which easy to learn.
What do you dislike about the product?
Jira is an excellent software but it has some things to improve such as the creation of reports, I think it is an important tool that should be enhanced to have a better performance because it lacks capabilities for the generation of reports and graphics, the technical support its answers are late and do not provide many solutions, the mobile application is not well synchronized and sometimes important information is lost finally the search filters are poor it can take a long time looking for a specific project.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The use we give to Jira within my organization is to manage all the activities and tasks of sprint as sometimes it creates different problems and all team members can add their tasks there put labels and also follow the progress of each project also currently the marketing and sales department has used Jira's tools to create new products and see their progress in an easy way other departments such as IT have been using the free version of Jira and has had very positive results.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I recommend Jira for companies that have large scale projects which involve dozens of complex tasks and are organized in groups of people from its first stage to its execution because with Jira you can simplify much work through its tools such as Scrum and Kanban boards in addition to having to-do lists that the software is responsible for remembering intelligently and effectively, I think that for this purpose Jira is the perfect software.

The planning and reporting features of Jira are amazing. One can use the reporting feature to assess, track, and monitor the project performance as well as the team performance.

If you are working on a Software development project Jira is good to manage the lifecycle of the project. It provides great reporting features and it also helps in managing developers. It will give your team good insights on what level the project currently is.

Jira will allow you to maintain control on your project following Agile methodologies.
It will allow you to share visibility with all your team and maintain under control the progress of each small task as well as have a good big picture of the overall project.
You can link hierarchically all the activity and manage dependency between them.
Great to assign the task to your team and also to limit the amount of email, collecting all the project related stuff including attachment and documentation all togheter.
I love the github plugin that will allow to link your code commit with their own task.

Without a good management I risk to loose control duplicating information in many different task.
A further improvement of that tool could be a AI be able to highlight similar tickets while opening one.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As mention about with JIRA you are going to collect all together staff related to a particolar project.
This will allow you to recover information also after a while and have the full project history under your control.
This will be very useful for investigations and a very useful thinks other than going looking into thousand of emails.

Complex to learn, but great for tracking large product environments!
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to navigate and search through different projects within it. Easy to get up to date information on where a Sprint is going. The Kanban support is pretty great. Breaking out Sprints is very handy and I love that you can set Sprint Goals for each one. Deep levels of customization once the initial hurdle of learning admin is out of the way.
What do you dislike about the product?
Administration is very complex. It takes a lot of effort to learn how to set up the back end of JIRA. There's a reason some companies have JIRA admin as a full-time job title.
I also wish there was a way to track a team's velocity beyond story points. We use a data-based velocity tracking system that doesn't use points, but many of the reports are tied to using more traditional story-based estimation methods.

JIRA makes it easy to create and manage projects in both Scrum and Kanban, as well as having a robust agile backlog. There are deep customization options available thanks to the Atlassian Marketplace and the built-in features available to JIRA administrators. It also helps with transparency as adding new users is fairly easy.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Great for use if you want to manage a large, complex product and are using Scrum or Kanban. Make sure to set aside time and budget to possibly take a class on how to use JIRA as an administrator prior to launching it. It is not readily apparent how to act as an administrator at first.

What do you like best about the product?
Jira Core is a very robust solution to manage large projects and maintain the organization of the teams, the service is excellent for tracking tasks, provides very robust and customized dashboards that allow you to work comfortably, has its drag and drop function that is very useful to organize the most priority tasks, the service is cloud-based which provides easy access to users. The service allows to measure the performance of the tasks executed through very colorful graphics, I love Jira core's interface because it is very updated, it has a design that represents very well the service because it is very elegant.
What do you dislike about the product?
Jira Core is a product that has a very wide interface and this helps to have a learning curve for beginners, which has made it a little difficult for us to integrate new people to work with the software, its cost I consider it high compared to other alternatives, but because its operation is very good we consider to continue working with this product.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Jira Core is a system that we have implemented in our organization in order to be able to manage and administer the projects in an efficient and high performance way, the service provides us with control of all our operations, we can quickly identify deficiencies and correct them without any problem, it provides us with easy access. In conclusion I can say that jira core is a very useful product for our company.

Jira Core is a fantastic product for project management, the service is high performance, very innovative, solid structure and many tools to work on different projects. Excellent Requirement /Work Tracking Tool
What do you like best about the product?
One of the best thing about Jira is it has a number of fields/ways to capture all of the information that we have during requirement gathering -components, teams, versions, impacts, priority.
Very easy to view the Team dashboard to have a good planning and prioritization.

Nothing major. Would love to see an option to report on the various stories worked and to find references. It would be great if documentation section is introduced.

We are using it to log and track requirements and to plan and prioritize works based on priority and impact.

Fundamental tool for customizing your workflows
What do you like best about the product?
This is absolutely a great tool from every dimension. It is playing a significant role in maintaining and handling our workflow conveniently. This is only because of JIRA that we have full confidence in the information we have thus we can execute our shipping process easily. We have not found any trouble in reporting. Our team is at ease now we can easily generate the reporting based on real-time. This is the most practical tool as it converts our strategies into actions.
What do you dislike about the product?
It works amazingly but sometimes problems occur in uploading files as it has the capacity of uploading limited files. I think its team should enhance the capacity for uploading files. Another limitation is that it is quite expensive for the small size of companies.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
There are so many positive aspects of this tool. It helps us a lot in maintaining our tasks as well as projects. Within a single glance we can have whole idea about the tasks and what sort attention it needs. It is integrated with other third party tool like Bitbucket, Slack etc, which allows us to easily drag and drop the files; this has saved our time too. Now we can easily automate our tasks. We appreciate its scrum board and agile reporting, which has provided us much ease.

It will also equip you to track and manage projects in real time from your mobiles irrespective of time. it is suitable for both medium and large setups. After getting this tool you will find gradual increase in your production department because of its positive overall impact. It will introduce you many opportunities managing software effectively.

What do you like best about the product?
Jira core is a sophisticated tool for managing projects and focused tasks for business teams. It has a relatively low price which I consider a positive point, it has a fluid interface and a really innovative design that integrates all its features in an orderly way, the error tracking tool seems very useful because you can make audit trails and manage pending orders, this software is ideal for companies because it allows you to make an inventory management, manage employees, make a financial management and finally a marketing management really that with Jira we have boosted our performance much more.
What do you dislike about the product?
Jira core has some well marked weaknesses it doesn't have many customizable templates which decreases its ability to adapt to any project, technical support responds very slowly despite working 24 hours, in the business management features it still lacks more metrics tools to measure performance, it still needs to add more collaboration tools that improves teamwork finally in the marketing planning it has a weak point that is that it doesn't have presentation tools this can be improved with an upgrade.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
My organization uses Jira Core as a management tool for business administration since its tools such as employee management, inventory, financial and time and expense management, lately we have also addressed in the functions that Jira Core has in the development of applications such as deployment management, mobile developer, source control, software development among others the truth that we have had very promising results using this software in the development of applications and its administrative management function the same has not improved much.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would recommend Jira for small companies because the cost of their fees are very manageable and also has a free trial I would also recommend it to manage budgets because of its speed and simplicity to make a financial management in seconds, not recommend it to work in teams because I think it still requires more collaborative tools but if you work individually can still be a success finally recommend to investigate its functions in the development of applications because they are really interesting.
