Jira Keeps Escalations Organized with Clear Ownership and Tracking.

  • February 15, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Jira is primarily used for escalations and client support workflows. I personally use it for logging issues, assigning ownership, and tracking response times for cases that require follow-up. The stages of the workflow also help me understand the status of each request, which is helpful during client status meetings.
What do you dislike about the product?
For occasional users, the complexity of filters and ticket views might seem a bit complex at first.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Escalations were previously tracked via email threads and shared lists, which created ambiguity regarding ownership. Jira brought about a more organized ticketing system and better team visibility.

Streamlined Workflow Tracking and Cross-Team Transparency with Jira.

  • February 15, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Jira is primarily used to manage structured processes and monitor cross-team tasks. I use it to track ticket status, implement workflow stages, and ensure transparency in pending tasks. The board view allows me to easily spot roadblocks in the workflow and ensure tasks continue to move in accordance with processes.
What do you dislike about the product?
The interface can sometimes appear overwhelming for occasional users, especially when dealing with sophisticated filters.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
In the past, tracking processes was done through email threads or shared trackers, which did not provide clarity on accountability. The introduction of Jira helped create a standardized workflow with better visibility.

Powerful Project Management with a Learning Curve

  • February 13, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like most about Jira is its flexibility and strong support for agile project management. The customizable workflows, issue types, and boards allow teams to tailor the platform to their specific processes, which makes it suitable for both simple and complex projects. The sprint planning and backlog management features are especially useful for organizing priorities and tracking progress in a structured way. I also appreciate the clear visibility Jira provides through dashboards, reports, and timelines, which helps teams stay aligned and make data-driven decisions. Additionally, its integration with tools like Confluence, Bitbucket, and various CI/CD platforms improves collaboration and keeps development workflows connected in a single ecosystem.
What do you dislike about the product?
While Jira is powerful, there are a few areas that could be improved. The interface can sometimes feel complex and overwhelming, especially for new users who are not familiar with agile workflows or project management tools. Setting up projects, workflows, and permissions often requires significant configuration, which can be time consuming without proper guidance. Performance may also slow down in larger projects with many issues or extensive customizations. Additionally, reporting and dashboard setup can feel less intuitive than expected, often requiring extra effort to customize meaningfully. Simplifying the user experience and reducing administrative overhead would make Jira more accessible and efficient for both technical and non-technical teams.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Jira for project management and issue tracking, helping me plan, organize, and monitor tasks. It solves project coordination, task visibility, and workflow management challenges, reducing confusion and improving transparency. Jira's agile features streamline collaboration and ensure teams are aligned throughout the project lifecycle.

Jira is a highly effective project management and issue tracing platform, particularly well suited for software development teams. Its most valuable feature is the ability to create pirortize, and track tasks with complete transparency across the team. The platform offers robust Agile support, including sprint planning, backlog management, and detailed reporting dashboards that provide clear visibility into project progress. Additionally, Jira's customizable workflows and integration capabilities make it adaptable to various business needs. while the initial setup and learning curve can be challenging for new users , it delivers strong long term value of teams managing complex or large scale projects.
What do you dislike about the product?
Jira's interface can be overwhelming for beginners, and the initial setup requirs time and technical understanding.
It has a steep learning curve, customization can become complicated, performance may slow with heavy configurations, and pricing increase as the team grows.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Jira helps solve key business problems such as lack of task visibility, poor projrct tracking and inefficient team coordination, It centralizes all tasks , bugs, and project updates in one platform, improving transparency and accoutability. Jira also supports Agile planning, sprint management, and performace reporting, which helps teams meet deadlines, reduce bottlenecks, and improve overall productivity. Custom Dashboards & Story Point Estimation Make Multi-Project Management Easy

  • February 12, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Specialized dashboards can be created, which makes it easier to view information in the way I need. Effort can be estimated using story points and QA points, helping with planning and tracking. It also supports handling multiple projects in one place, which is convenient for managing work across teams or initiatives.
What do you dislike about the product?
By default, Jira tends to spam your inbox for every tiny change. If someone so much as breathes on your ticket, you get an email. Fixing that means diving into “Notification Schemes,” which is a real headache.

Search is also split into “Basic” and “Advanced.” The basic search is often surprisingly bad at finding specific text, which ends up forcing you to learn JQL just to track down a ticket someone mentioned in a meeting.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
You can set up "If/Then" rules without knowing how to code. For example: "If a developer moves a ticket to 'Done', automatically notify the QA lead and tag it for the next release."

Flexible and Transparent—Jira Makes Complex Project Tracking Easy

  • February 12, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate Jira’s flexibility and transparency. It makes task tracking and collaboration straightforward, and it improves overall project visibility—especially when managing complex workflows and coordinating across a team.
What do you dislike about the product?
Jira can feel overly complex and cluttered, especially for new users. Customizing workflows or reports also often takes a lot of setup and ongoing administration effort, which can make it harder to get everything working the way you want.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Jira helps address challenges with task tracking, workflow management, and team coordination by centralizing projects in a single platform. This centralization improves visibility, accountability, and overall efficiency, making it easier for teams to stay aligned, coordinate day to day work, and deliver on time.

Organized Ticket Management, A Few Messy Details

  • February 11, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I use Jira to manage my tickets and I like being organized with it. I appreciate how Jira helps me track my time and allows me to see when tasks start and end. I actually like the fact that there are some apps like Tempo in Jira, which help me keep track of my work and know how long it takes to complete a ticket. It's also quite easy to set up with plenty of tutorials available.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes Jira is a bit messy. Some subtasks are just too hidden or have way too many options, which can be confusing. Also, it sometimes gets a bit hard to understand, especially at the beginning when trying to use it correctly and effectively.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Jira to manage my tickets, tracking time and keeping organized in support work. It helps track when tasks start and end. So my PM adds tasks there and I see them, complete them, mark my time and that is basically what I do with Jira. My company (INNEW) uses it as its primary ticket management tool, plus it is quite easy to integrate with other softwares
