Great tool, if set-up correctly

What do you like best about the product?
Great tool to manage scrum projects (Kanban, Sprints, User Stories, Backlog,...) the tool has some great reporting functionality as well. Things like velocity reports of burndown charts are baked in into Jira. It's quite easy to configure workflows & swimlanes for the kanban boards. It's also possible to build dashboars and have a "wallboard" view of a dashboard that you can project/display on a TV or beamer for maximum visibility. User management is easy with the possibility to integrate this with other tools like your companies LDAP.
What do you dislike about the product?
With great powers come great responsibilities. If your Jira instance isn't configured correctly, or in such way that it's very restrictive it can be frustrating from time to time. There is no possibility without an additional plugin purchase to have standard templates for issue creation, so it's not really possible to have structured issues that always have the same sections. If badly configured, you can really get a lot of email "spam" from Jira in your mailbox.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Managing software development in a Agile/Scrum environment.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Make sure to configure it in such way that users don't find the interface restrictive and get frustrated by the restrictions. Keeping structure is good, but giving some flexibility to project owners / scrum masters is recommended.

Amazing tool for collaboration

What do you like best about the product?
JIRA allows me to create tickets & workflows that I have in mind in a very trackable manner. Tasks, sub-tasks, projects, priorities & sprints.. I could go on & on about JIRA. Collaborating in software development is an ever-present challenge & I think that the tools that JIRA offers allows us to actually focus on the content, rather than the structure of it. I love the transparency it offers me into the work of everyone around me, and how it enables everyone to be able to help each other out wherever they can. Highly recommend for any team in any industry!
What do you dislike about the product?
Honestly, nothing. I am a fan of the newer view & some of the functionalities haven't been ported to it yet from the old view, but it's just a matter of time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Collaboration is easier. Transparency into work is achieved. Allows me & others to track progresses very well. Allows breaking up of large cycles of development into manageable chunks of inter-linked tasks. So when you come in on a daily basis, you know exactly you should be doing. Helps me realise blockers & bring the right people in quickly to unblock me. Sometimes it acts as a board for tracking personal progress too.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Other than the features it offers, I always recommend people to try out the custom dashboard feature - offers a peek at the health of the entire team's workload at a glance.

What do you like best about the product?
Helps you to keep a track of all tickets, sprints, report and track bugs with a lot of ease as well as provide support to many third-party integrations like Slack, Gmail notifications and many more.
What do you dislike about the product?
The U.I./U.X. is very text-based by 2020 standards. They should start showing visual indicators to depict performance metrics within JIRA which they have slowly started adding in the past couple of months.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Product Development tracking. Keeping all the key stakeholders informed of the progress being made in real-time.

It's a great project management tool that will serve all your needs. However, you need to get hands with the features and functionalities of JIRA.

What do you like best about the product?
Logging of bugs is so simple.The tracking of issue can be done easily by multiple people by being weatchers.

What do you like best about the product?
Such a software is essential to work with teams, allows convenient export of information in your reports and I appreciate it as it keeps an eye on everyday functions. However, the incorporation potential is vast and excellently applied in each phase, I will consider Github and Slack between the instruments with which this incorporation is efficient. That figures Jira releases are incredibly successful because of its data requirements. In comparison to the progress check system of the programmes, the adaptive framework is interesting.
What do you dislike about the product?
Our team don't like it, that's hard to set up this system at the start. I do think that Jira is a very fascinating and insufficiently implemented system. In addition, the licence must be charged per user, and the spending plan will multiply by several figures whether you have a large number of companies.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
By using this outstanding method, we improve efficiency, as it helps us to have ample product development and the priorities of the business. We will remember that we explicitly use it for daily work preparation and tracking. We can also build events and delegate members of the team roles.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It is a highly skilled monitoring device I suggest. It is also perfect for efficiently managing projects and money. Here are no challenges with using this programme, because of its outstanding interface and favour one of the purposes why I feel satisfied.

Robust, highly customizable, but painful to use

What do you like best about the product?
There is no doubt that Jira is the most comprehensive planning tool for agile teams. It's integration with Confluence, Atlassian's wiki product, is a good combo. When it works, it works.
What do you dislike about the product?
Oh my... Where to start. The UI is OK for the average end-user, but as an administrator, it's truly insane. Incredibly non-intuitive and overcomplicated. Very difficult to set things up and do essential tasks.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
If you're managing large teams, large projects, and want to do things the 'right way' then Jira is a good option. Just be warned that it has loads of mind-numbing limitations and painful usability challenges. Getting up and running is not easy.

Powerful software that combines every useful feature

What do you like best about the product?
I like that Jira combines multiple features to create unique tools that help me to start a new project. The Kanban boards are EXTREMELY helpful and the design Jira provides is very aesthetic and easy to understand. It's also very functional when it comes to creating the boards and customizing the product to fit my brand. Working on Jira with my team is really flexible, as I can invite whoever I want to work on a specific project and sort the tasks depending on difficulty. The team can also review them and receive notifications that are related to the task they're completing, without missing any deadlines.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think that when it comes to settings, Jira is all over the place. I wish there was more organization in this part of the software so I can find things easily. As for the rest of the product, I think it's a good software that we adapted well to our business.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use this software to make the process of project-making easier. It has helped my team to organize the different ideas that members might come up with, and then we can start working. I think that Jira is really helpful as a project and task management because it gives me the possibility to work on different things without getting it all mixed up.

It's a very versatile software that comes with great tools and I totally recommend it

1. The ability to customize according to the needs of the organization, team, project.
2. Many useful features.
3. Many attachments that can be integrated.
4. The possibility of transparency and control, as well as accountability.
