Jira Review for Project Management

What do you like best about the product?
Jira is bets for issue tracking. We have different boards for each team mates, where the tasks are assigned. There are three sections under each team mate board which includes assigned tasks, on going tasks and completed task. When we create a new task then we can assign it an owner and can add the tags related to the task. Also we can specify the number of days that a task can take and may increase the time later if required. The dashboard is very good and is very much customizable with the development phase. Agile development is great using Jira. It is very well integrated with other Atlassian products. It is very user friendly and is easy to use. This tool has helped us in better collaboration and has helped us to achieve our targets faster.
What do you dislike about the product?
The loading of the page on jira is slow sometimes. The jira board itself takes a while to load up initially, There is no feature to add reminder for some of the important tickets for which specific attention is required at specific time. Plugins are very hard to add. Jira is not very easy to setup.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is a great issue tracking platform with customizable colours and percentage status. We can customize it for different projects and team which provides a great collaboration environment. Jira is a great tool and we use it to complete the project fast. It helps us to improve our efficiency.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
This is great tool for your team for issue tracking and improving your productivity.

What do you like best about the product?
Jira is very good because it contains a very wide range of integrations that improve the way we work. In addition to this the search and filter functions are excellent. It contains relevant features that make Jira a program with very solid reports when generating them.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would sincerely like the software to improve its interface, you should modify it with a much more intuitive appreciation and with simpler features to achieve an easy understanding.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are very happy with Jira we have been able to use it for multiple things. Among them for product management, track and plan individual tasks, track tickets, etc. It certainly increases flexibility in our work environment.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Totally recommended is Jira. Strengthens the way of working and planning objectives contained in the company where you work. It is fine and promotes efficiency, professionalism and agility thanks to its use.

Task Boards, Bitbucket Integration, Bug Tracking

Complex Setup and Expensive License Fees and requires a recurring payment plan.

Keeps On track with Project Schedules and helps prevent schedule deviation.

What do you like best about the product?
Jira is more extremely to mange the project planning and creating the tasks and which will be stored in backlogs and which could be straightforward to access the stories.
What do you dislike about the product?
Most challenges of jira project management tool which takes more time to understand each and every functionality.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This tool is vastly flexible to manage and track the stories as well as bugs in better way. We could also generate the reports which will assist us to understand to project more clearly.

Great way to track Project Progress

What do you like best about the product?
I use JIRA on a daily basis to track activity/requests. It is really a helpful tool. The different phases (New, start, stall, complete) clearly outlines the progress of the ticket/request. It has multiple fields to cover all the information to a task/issue. The jira dashboard gives a pictorial representation of the overall work. There are different filter options available to categorize the data. I have been using it at work for more than 3 years now.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's overall a solid tool but sometimes few options just doesn't work. Issues: 1) Issue pasting an image on a comment or in the description. Sometimes, the paste option just doesn't work 2) Managing tables is difficult. 3) The activity/transition history could be better. Overall it's a great tool.

What do you like best about the product?
Easy to add and manage tasks, sprints and workload.
Can run a variety of reports.
Interface is easy to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
Was not able to merge 2 JIRA accounts together easily. Initially it took some time to set up all of the views, pages and workflows to my linking.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are using Jira to track the development status of our application. Manage bugs and improvements.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Jira is a good tool for tracking projects and managing teams.

Very helpful to have a visual (kan ban) of workload
What do you dislike about the product?
Not able to do all the changes from side panel (have to open issue completely for full functionality)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Visibility into workload, which offers ability to size up and prioritize work with manager
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If it's overwhelming to see the entire team's work (unable to focus), select "Only My Issues" or collapse your team members names. Also, there's all sorts of configurations that can be done to make it work for you. Don't count it as a loss until you talk to your administrator about your needs.

Jira helps to filtering the tasks/tickets with labeling system or provision onto the environment.
What do you dislike about the product?
The GUI based user customized dashboard doesn't allow to clone or copy existing user's dashboard.

It helps with day to day task or tickets which helps task tracking easy and also defect detailing easy for readability

Helps enable agile workflows and task tracking across a scrum team

Not that easy to extend functionality. It’s expensive once your team has more a handful of people in it. 3rd party plugins charge enterprise pricing for sometimes amateur software

Agile scrum team management. Long term sprint planning and issue tracking.

It’s expensive, but worth it if you run an agile team.
