Jira and its benefits
What do you like best about the product?
Jira is a vital issue logging tool used in our day to day work for our project work. It helps a lot in tracing issues and creating dashboards to portray the statuses for the issues.It provides different categorizations for the issues and also has a number of columns to filter from. It also lets us assign the issues to particular users and notifies them of the activities of the issues. There is also and option of adding comments where if there is clarification required from the other users. one can simply comment and tag other users for their view on the matter. It is excellent for managing projects since it gives you a detailed as well as a visual representations of the issues completed and pending.
What do you dislike about the product?
1. Too slow at times, the loading time really takes a toll on the users and causes frustration.
2.Pricing is quite high. Purchasing licenses consumes a huge load of money and sometimes is not worth the effort.
3. Buggy during new releases.
4. Issues occurring while attaching attachments- attachments don't get attached.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We require Jira for maintaining a large scale project of an autmobile industry. Need to log issues and user stories and keep a track of it as well as have a fair distribution of assignment for the same. Jira helps a lot in this and provides a real time representation of the work being done in the project.

Increase the efficiency and speed.

What do you like best about the product?
Jira simplifies my work. Our team's effort could be efficiently tracked and incomplete work could be easily monitored.
What do you dislike about the product?
As far as I know, there is nothing that i don't like.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Helps to follow the agile methodology. Instead of the manual scrum board, it saves time and effort. My team's productivity has improved.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
The sprint and the agile boards are mind blowing! Its good for reporting. I highly recommend Jira. People with OCD would love it.
Good Ticketing tool

Customization dashboard which gives lot's of details

comments won't load fast while using in internet explorer

communication is clear, can check the start and end time, SLA ...

Good when compare to other ticketing tools
I work for Sports Engine support and I use Jira to log bugs and other issues.
What do you like best about the product?
I like that jira helps to organize and most importantly prioritize issues to provide a clear understanding of what needs to be fixed and what can wait.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike the time it takes to submit a bug.

All types of code changes or fix's are managed with Jira

Great for collaborating with my BI and IT teams As a member of the marketing team who works on complex projects with solution ideas requiring advanced development work to create from our database in backend to enable projects to fruition and completion. Jira has helped me do this well
What do you dislike about the product?
So far not man downfalls. It’s great that I get email notifications when comments added or case edited which is good because I do not use Jira everyday
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Jira has been a core communication tool in the tech/dev team project sprint cycle at my company so getting on this platform from my standpoint/marketing perspective has bridged a gap so we can now easily and quickly start and update marketing related projects
Gigantic product
What do you like best about the product?
Agile work at job is made perfect for our team. The product is so big and can do so much!
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes hard to find myself in our project and having some issues with permissions to write.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Team work is better with this tool. We can change assignee easily and manage our own workflow
One Stop bug fixer
What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use, easily share information about a particular topic and share the issue of a bug. It's fast, reliable and work centric.
What do you dislike about the product?
We actually use this for bug assignment once the status of the bug is changed and assigned to a concerned person, I feel it should show some message whether it is assigned or not.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We actually use this for bug assignment where it is very fast and reliable, which makes our product bugs free and also error free.

Jira is a very useful tool for tracking my work load and helps my team improve. Its design is simple, easy to understand and features that minimize work, by simply dragging and dropping I can organize sprints. All team members have their assigned roles and you can see who will do what for what, I can tackle different projects with different teams quickly and efficiently. Another of its utilities is that I can keep updated on user activities for a better scope at work. Labeling is a useful way to track for improvement of activities. Another advantage of Jira is that I can organize the board to my liking and comfort.
What do you dislike about the product?
Although it is a dynamic tool, it takes a while to understand, but it is worth the expected time. It has certain additional costs but nothing that cannot be resolved.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have seen positive results in my company in the follow-up of everyone's tasks. Jira saves employees time and allows managers to monitor everyone without much trouble. We can register errors and defects, working from what has been seen and working towards an improvement and an effective solution.

Jira - is a nice Tool for Issue Tracking and Managing the Sprint Work under Agile Methodology.

Distinct status is often used to show the improvement of a project other than to do, InProgress, Open, Resolved, Closed, ReOpened.

I fell the User Interface of the Jira needs to more straightforward to use it.

With Jira's input, we could create bugs, subtasks, tickets, download a report.

Issue tracking is more simplified with the assist of Jira.

Makes managing an agile team, so easy. Used with tempo timesheet it makes everything very easy to use

Sometimes the performance of the cloud is not amazing, but you can live with it
