JIRA is a great tool for product planning

What do you like best about the product?
I love jira as a defect tracking tool and use it for agile testing as well as project management.

The top features i use it for on each project are:

Support for Kanban Cards.
Performance analytics.
Easy Code Integration.
Fast performance Analytics & Insights.
It also offers seamless Chat Integration.
Beautiful Project Screen Grabs.
What do you dislike about the product?
I sometimes dislike the layout and feel it could be more user friendly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are solving problems of transparency, ensuring all teams members gain access to the whole sprint log in one central plan, improving communication, teamwork and efficiency.

The possibility to add comment to the tasks

The difficulty to reach every Feature from the single Schedule
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With Jira I don't need to write an email to my collegues, but I know everyday how to organize my job and what to do. And the most important thing I can see the priority of my tasks thanks to the points we can assign to the schedule.

What do you like best about the product?
Ease of adding plug in's and level of capability to make modifications. mentioning stakeholders is quite very useful as it keeps a track of changes and notification is sent directly to the required user. Change Management is again a very good feature.
What do you dislike about the product?
Too much configurability leads to process overhead at times. EPIC cannot be mapped to ant product. Instead gets attached to software project. Cannot add user-specific mods and plug ins
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Solving and tracking bugs reported by clients.Jira is a bug tracking, issue tracking and project management suite that is available both as an online service and as on-premise software. Jira is developed by Atlassian.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Solves the purpose for which JIRA is built.

What do you like best about the product?
The custom dashboard is the best! It allows you to create your own board of what is relevant to you.
What do you dislike about the product?
You have to follow the workflow that was set up by your admin for tickets. It would be nice if you could may custom adjustments to the standard workflow on a user basis.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Collaboration between the BA's, PM's and developers.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Take some time to have your company walk through their process. JIRA is a great tool for collaboration and can be customized. Have your JIRA admin walk you through it first.

JIRA is very helpful to follow process in product development life cycle.

I don't dislike anything about JIRA. One area for improvement would be providing more options in Issues Filtering

With JIRA dashboard, it's easy to track who is doing what tasks. Different process flows in JIRA help in analysing the status of each tasks.

Its a good tool for managing product life cycle, tasks allocation, progress, time tracking etc

What do you like best about the product?
Jira has almost endless options to make sure that you have all the tools you need to keep track of many different moving pieces while organizing projects. Whatever you want to do, there is a way to do it in Jira.
What do you dislike about the product?
All the features make Jira powerful, but they can also lead to overwhelm. Assigning a simple task can be complex, and keeping track of what you have to do and managing statuses can likewise be complicated. Jira has the "power user" feel to all of its features, while less advanced users, like myself, can feel that it has too many features for the simple task management functionality I use it for.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are using Jira as a marketing team to keep track of our projects and assign tasks. We use it to share files and communicate on status and timelines.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Know what features you need and whether or not you need such a powerful and complex solution.

Project planning at its very best!

What do you like best about the product?
The Board provides all the stakeholders of the project to get a overview about the current sprint.
The backlog keeps a track of the number of tickets that need to be accomplished without making it too complex.
What do you dislike about the product?
When there are a large number of tickets to handle in the backlog the system is pretty slow to operate. The drag and drop functionality is also pretty slow on such cases when the system experiences load.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Keeping track of tasks is s great obstacle and it is not such an easy task on paper. Jira takes out this difficulty by making sure the tasks are managed with utmost effectiveness and finance.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
This is a great software for handling your work when it comes to managing tickets and backlog. Investing in JIRA will definitely increase your organization's productivity.

What do you like best about the product?
Jira Project tasks tracking software.
Easy to keep track for weekly progress of software firms.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes, it seems the backlog issues page is little bit messy.
In case of large no. of backlogs the design can be more user flexible.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
By using Jira, I can easily track my tasks in my developer team.

Firstly organisations should use it in free.
If it fulfil requirements than they can buy the services.

USER STORY CREATION IN JIRA

What do you like best about the product?
I like to assign user stories based on release and based on team. Individuals assigned to user story can get notified by email and they can update their tasks easily so overall accountability and measurability can be obtained.
What do you dislike about the product?
nothing much. Sometimes estimation vs actual time report can be tricky so overtimes can be adjusted by deleting logged hours
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
team status and release monitoring. For ex; Gantt chart for overall program is helping management to see load on different teams. They can measure productivity and utilization
Recommendations to others considering the product:
try to use plugins. For ex confluence gives more insights like development view and scheduling is easier and retrospective purposes confluence and Jira are really good
