What do you dislike about the product?
Con for this tool is its complexity to configure for new users.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We work on Android Projects which could have been hard to track without JIRA.
Useful product but can be time consuming to use
What do you like best about the product?
It helps keep me organized by allowing me to create tickets for each task I have to do. I also like that it allows me to see what others are working on, and allows me to assign tasks to other people by creating tickets.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can be time consuming when changing out tickets, and when having to manually clone tickets and add parents to them. I also dislike having to close out all my tickets at the end of the day, it adds an extra 5 minutes to my everyday closing tasks, but if I close them as I go then they become very difficult to find again in the event that I need to work on that task again. When you "Complete" a ticket it does not go to the top of the "Completed Tasks" list, and instead becomes mixed up with my other old tickets--this makes it hard to put a ticket back "In progress" once it's been completed.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
My company uses Jira to keep track of everyone's hours and tasks. Jira helps the managers keep an eye on everyone without actually having to do anything, and allows employees to stay on top of their tasks.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It's great for tracking tasks and hours, but can be time consuming.
JIRA UX/UI
What do you like best about the product?
JIRA has been really helpful with task allocation. It provides good cross-team visibilty. I'm using it for two teams right now.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like to see more apps for JIRA. We have been using a few but the experience hasn't been great.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have been using JIRA for task allocation mainly on the US team, whereas deployed an agile approach on the offshore team for bug tracking and product management.
I Love Using JIRA to Manage Projects
What do you like best about the product?
JIRA is a great tool for managing projects and keeping tasks in line. Internal users and client users can collaborate on tasks and communicate easily.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like when JIRA auto-assigns tasks when switching the status. If you assign the task to the next person and then change the status, sometimes the JIRA function auto-assigns it to the incorrect person. You then have to go back and re-assign it to the right person.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
JIRA helps tasks stay on track and not get lost. It also helps us manage the tasks associated with a 'sprint', so that we can break down a large project into 2-week windows. It keeps things less daunting and more manageable.
You can manage any projects with Jira
What do you like best about the product?
I've been using Jira for more than 9 years and seen the progress, richness of features in the application, I can build any kind of workflow for any type of projects, customize boards, integrate with almost any software applications, use different types of filters and customize dashboard and do many more

Some useful plugins are really expensive but essential

Jira review
What do you like best about the product?
We use Jira as a ticketing system and I really like the ease of use of the tool. Some things that stand out are the reporting functions, which allow us to track lots of different checkpoints that we have set u[ in the system. Another good selling point of the tool is that you can set up different dashboards for different teams. This allows us to have different fields to use depending whether it is an external client of an internal ticket to our production team. We moved over to this tool from email and it has been a revelation for the team and allows us to keep track of tickets in an easy manner.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the search function does not always pull up the ticket that we are looking for and this can be frustrating when trying to find an old ticket when we need the information quickly. This however is not entirely the tools fault as can be due to internal issues such as not naming the ticket correctly
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As we use it as a ticketing system primarily we use the tool to solve all of our clients issues when they arise, We can identify the issue assign the ticket to the most suitable person and relay this to the client so they can keep track of where we are up to with the tool which has proven to be very valuable
