Complex ticket process and workflows can get complicated. I would like to see a bitter UIA adesign seems outdated

IRA is easy to use as far as setting up projects, adding tickets, moving them along the board, etc.
I spend most of my working day in the agile boards! So easy to use and endlessly configurable. I can't fault it

Important Tool in a World full of bugs.

There is a learning curve for Leaders or admins that create a specific dashboard or project.

Tracking how issues and bugs are being resolved.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Jira is powerful tool but make sure to understand it fully in order to best use its capabilities.
Great for internal communication
What do you like best about the product?
The easy to use platform keeps our customer success team and engineering team completely in sync. We are able to integrate to our ticketing system, to follow the ticket to completion. Very easy to use, once synced with our tools.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes linking conversations could be difficult, but overall better than any tool.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Internal communication. Ability to prioritize bugs and issues in one system.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you are trying to get your engineering team more aligned with the bugs and fixes implemented Jira is the best tool.
Good project management tool
What do you like best about the product?
Jira is a strong project management tool. We use it between our product management and engineering teams to manage product launches, updates, changes, etc. It is easy to use (at a basic level) and flexible enough to accommodate different types of workflows.
What do you dislike about the product?
Might sound silly, but it's not an engaging or attractive looking platform. It also makes it a little more confusing on where to find things, how to group, sort, etc.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
For information sharing and collaboration, especially for remote teams, it's great. No more searching on a shared drive or worrying about multiple versions of the same document floating around. The site also has a strong search feature which is very helpful for locating old / archived documents.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Try it out and see if it is for you. There are competitors which are strong, too, and some of them cost less. For us, however, Jira is a great tool that we will be keeping for the long term.
Best task tracking software out there!
What do you like best about the product?
Jira is the most customizable, flexible task tracking out there. Custom workflows and integrations really make it stand out from others in the industry.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometime we run in to performance (slowness) issues with our Jira cloud instances. The cost can be somewhat of a turn off for Jira, though with the amount of features included it is worth it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Task tracking and planning, forecasting, etc. We have multiple teams working on different initiatives across the company and Jira helps to keep us informed as to what the other teams are working on and the status of their projects.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Find a good administrator to help you set up Jira properly and work through issues as you find them.
Good for managing tasks
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to create tasks and assignments with due dates and sprints. Also like that email notifications are sent when task is created and complete. Like the whole notification system in general.
What do you dislike about the product?
Users don't get notified when a subtask is created. We thought that adding subtasks to a task would make life easier for us but it didn't. So we ended up not even using it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Task management, user management, sprints, kabans. It clearly shows the team what we're working on and what's in the pipeline

JIRA makes agile software development management easy
What do you like best about the product?
1. JIRA is powerful and flexible. It can be configured and used in a number of ways and for a number of different use cases. But despite that, we've found it easy to use and we were able to use it without much training.
2. For agile-based software development, it makes it easy to manage your backlog, plan sprints, track and manage individual issues, and get reports showing overall team/sprint metrics. All of these features are seamlessly integrated with each other.
3. It integrates well with other developer tools like Github and Slack. For example, this makes it easy to view branches and pull requests related to a specific story or automatically notify your team of important status changes to an issue.
4. It has a great support for Agile SCRUM and Kanban software development methodologies.

What do you dislike about the product?
1. The licensing system is per number of users. If you buy a small license and the tool is widely adopted, you may have an issue in getting your budget approved in a low cost environment, because the price for higher tiers goes up quickly.
2. Reporting and some charting capabilities is lacking. Need better ways to track burn-down, velocity, etc.
3. Although JIRA is an excellent tool for project management, the cost can be somewhat expensive.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
1. It needs a better way to auto refresh. Having to refresh the page sometimes can be frustrating.
2. JIRA can be annoying with the number of email notifications it shoots out.
