NextGen is not sufficient

What do you like best about the product?
Asynchronous grooming boards are really great for remote teams. The interface is perfectly fine but generally not any better (from a product perspective) than any other tool.
What do you dislike about the product?
The next gen version is missing some major features. You cannot delete a ticket after making it, switching between ticket types is onerous and goes through the "move" cycle which is extremely slow. Does not support asynchronous grooming.

What do you like best about the product?
I like Jira as it's very simple to use and very easy to use. You can easily add new stories, tasks, sub-tasks and what is most important for me is that if you follow the mainstream flow then everything is already defined and visible to the whole team using Jira. No one can complain that something is missing or something is not visible. What you need to do is just write everything, all agreements, comments, and questions in the ticket or in the comment under the ticket and everybody who is interested in the ticket will get notification about the new comment. So communication become very straightforward and fast.
What do you dislike about the product?
What I'm missing is some templates in case of minimum requirements per ticket or some other templates for ticket creation would be welcome as now if the user who is creating a ticket is not following some internal rules then the outlook of the ticket can vary from ticket to ticket.
If you define too many statuses then an active sprint view can get messy.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With Jira in our company, we solved issues about planning the tickets for the next weeks (in our case sprints). We also solve the problem of transparency and communication log. As the whole discussion and all the questions under one topic are then committed in the single ticket so anyone can go over and see the history and read different agreements.

Use Jira as it's perfect tool for ticketing, tracking work, ...

What do you like best about the product?
I really appreciate this software for what it is. To me and my colleagues, it is a bridge between Technical support and Quality Assurance. We used it to report issues to our QA department.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it's cumbersome to change the status of bugs on Jira with correct mappings. But it can be customized to avoid complexity. The customization and configuration might be tricky in some cases, the product is huge, and it usually takes some time to have everything in place.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have been using it for three years in my company and we were able to efficiently manage our bug tracking and resolving across the dev and the QA team. It simple to track progress and communicate and the interface is user-friendly. I would say JIRA is a must-have for companies that create software and want to keep a professional atmosphere in the office.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Jira is the most customizable and feature-rich product, I could always configure it to the team needs. Suitable for the mid-size and large orgs.

What do you like best about the product?
In jira, you can create user stories from the requirement, change request, bugs, issues etc. and assign them to user. So if you are following Agile methodology then definitely i will recommend you to use the Jira for your application life cycle. With this you can assign story points to user stories, then you can link the issues to them. You can create the sprint board as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
It doesn't have as much great support to write test case like HP QC provide and it has quite difficultly to RTM.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Give the status of user story/issue on a dashboard it self with its current state that is in Analysis/Dev/QA/Prod/Done.Shows the details about Active sprint, backlogs etc.

What do you like best about the product?
The tools UI is simple and collaboration is very easy between multiple teams within an organization.
What do you dislike about the product?
Really can't think of much to dislike. I've used other tools that are more simplified or complex but Jira tends to be the sweet spot in the middle.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's really helped me and other members of teams keep each other accountable and track all aspects of product development.

What do you like best about the product?
With Jira it is really easy to organise and plan projects. It's also very convenient to be able to assign tasks to team members. I also like the way, I can create my Dashboard. Overall Jira is a really great tool to work with.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing to dislike. Maybe it is not so easy to handle in the first days/weeks.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We assign each other tasks and structure our projects.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It is a great tool to use in a team. I like it now, but it was not that easy to start.

The way it's integrated to github which provide the details if there is any committed change in branch.

What do you like best about the product?
The way of handling tasks in jira and the feature to integrate it with other platforms

there mobile app is bit slower often but its not a big issue.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
we are mainly using it for bug tracking and fixing from looking the link in jira. we have a testfairy account which used for tracking mobile bugs. when the user report a feedback/bug. it will automatically create a ticket in jira. which we look and fix it from our side. we can also change the state of each ticket so each people in our team will understand the current state of the bug/feedback

Cloud version is restricted in terms of the plugins you can use

I had to manage workflows across two very different teams; Jira enabled me to do this in one tool
