What do you dislike about the product?
Sometime lot of UI chnages without documentation and UI can be clunky
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Jira addresses the issue of limited visibility and misalignment by offering a unified system of record for all work, which helps minimize the scattered tracking that often happens across emails, documents, and spreadsheets. When it comes to planning and prioritization, Jira supports more efficient processes by allowing for organized backlog management, clear assignment of responsibilities, and transparent prioritization that stays in line with business objectives.

Effortless Task Management with Integrated AI
What do you like best about the product?
I really like Jira's Rovo AI feature, which helps me with finding the right ticket, writing task descriptions, and providing suggestions related to product information. I also appreciate the different spaces feature where I can create separate spaces team-wise, like for customer support and analytics. Another aspect I enjoy is the simplest and easiest way of project and task tracking using the Board on Jira, which helps track tasks in progress, completed, deployed, etc., and provides valuable insights. Additionally, setting up Jira was easy for me; I didn’t face any challenges, and the Jira documentation is quite helpful and easy to navigate.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing i came across that I dislike about Jira. Its pretty well maintained product as per my experience so far.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Jira for creating tasks, tracking progress, and keeping stakeholders informed. It helps me manage team spaces independently, find tickets, write task descriptions, and get insights from tracking task stages.

Powerful Customization for Dev Teams, But Steep Learning Curve
What do you like best about the product?
Jira's customizable workflows have been essential for our team. We've tailored our board to match our actual development process - from code review to QA to deployment - which keeps everyone on the same page. I particularly appreciate the ability to create custom filters; I have one that shows all my assigned issues across projects, which saves me time every morning.
The integration with Confluence and GitHub works seamlessly in our workflow. When I commit code, the Jira ticket updates automatically, and our documentation links from Confluence appear right in the ticket. Sprint planning is straightforward with drag-and-drop prioritization, and the velocity charts have helped us estimate more accurately over the past six months.
The reporting dashboards give our PM visibility without constant status meetings. I can see at a glance how many bugs are in our current sprint versus feature work.

What do you dislike about the product?
The learning curve for new team members is steep. Our last hire took about two weeks to feel comfortable navigating Jira, and I still find myself explaining how to use JQL queries. The interface feels cluttered - there are so many options and menus that finding specific settings takes longer than it should.
Performance slows noticeably when I search across all projects or load boards with 200+ issues. Sometimes page loads take 5-10 seconds, which disrupts workflow.
The permission system is confusing. Setting up proper access for contractors required our admin to spend hours configuring role-based permissions. Our paid plan costs have also increased significantly as we've grown past 50 users.
The mobile app is barely usable - I can view tickets but editing or updating them is clunky compared to desktop.

Jira eliminated the chaos of tracking work across multiple spreadsheets and email threads. Before Jira, we'd lose track of bug reports and feature requests - now everything is centralized and searchable.
Our customized workflow ensures tickets go through proper code review and QA stages, which has reduced bugs making it to production. Sprint planning tools help us commit to realistic workloads; we've become much better at estimating since we can see historical velocity data.
The GitHub integration provides traceability - I can see which commits fixed which bugs, and during retrospectives, we can trace issues back to their origin. This accountability has improved our code quality.
Real-time visibility means our product manager checks the board instead of interrupting us with status questions. The burndown charts and sprint reports help us identify bottlenecks early. Last quarter, we noticed our QA phase was consistently taking longer than expected, which led us to add another QA resource.

Excellent for Agile Workflows and Seamless Integrations

This tool is excellent for agile and software workflows. It is highly customizable and can be integrated with a variety of tools such as Confluence, Bitbucket, Slack, and various testing tools. When configured properly, it is easy to use and very intuitive.
What do you dislike about the product?
If it isn't configured correctly, using it can quickly become a nightmare. It may also be excessive for simpler projects, as the platform can feel overwhelming in those cases. The dashboard offers limited visual representation, and to make full use of its reporting features, you need to be familiar with JQL.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps me spend less time dealing with execution mechanics, serves as a single source of truth, and enhances predictability.

What do you dislike about the product?
low capabilities for integration of apps or systems

Exceptional Task Tracking and Organization Features
What do you like best about the product?
To start, the name immediately reminds me of Indian masala, which makes it quite memorable. On the technical side, this tool has already established a strong reputation for reliable task tracking. I appreciate how it allows you to create tasks and organize them into different categories, such as stories, bugs, and tasks. There is also a sophisticated feature that enables you to document what was accomplished in previous releases. Furthermore, you can track important details like who developed each item, when it was completed, and which tasks were assigned to each developer or team member.
What do you dislike about the product?
Having the ability to use an Excel sheet to automatically track our tasks and import the entire file would be extremely helpful. This feature would make it much easier to monitor information clearly at every stage of the process.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This tool helps you manage tasks, bugs, and a range of other items, making it easier to monitor how many are still unresolved and to estimate when they might be completed.
