Dec 2020 Review
What do you like best about the product?
The ease of keeping track of everything involved in the deal.
What do you dislike about the product?
The interruptions that invariably comes with using anything on the internet.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Keeping customers up to date with what's going on with their orders. The biggest benefit is that I can give them the information they want in a timely manner by using Tasks to remind me of what and when to look for the data.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Try it, you'll like it!
HubSpot - Review
What do you like best about the product?
I like the fact that it is very well organized. It is very easy to set tasks and stay on track. The call recordings and activity feed are also very nice.
What do you dislike about the product?
Running out of hubspot minutes every month.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being able to record calls is huge for our business. It allows us to collaborate more as a team and get better as a salesman.
Robust platform but need stronger Customer Service access
What do you like best about the product?
ample features and capability/customization relative to other CRM. Works well as a sales CRM, especially if already using Hubspot for marketing. It's super fast and Hubspot addresses *infrequent bugs on the platform very quickly.
What do you dislike about the product?
Need various fields customized and difficult getting help from Customer Service. You can't put multiple #'s in the Company record page.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
seamless integration; syncing our team with marketing efforts much easier; I hear often that Hubspot is much more user-friendly than Salesforce as a sales CRM, and I've used Salesforce myself also.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Outsource implementation if you don't have a strong sales engineer like we do.
Best CRM out there!
What do you like best about the product?
The best part is how I can see when prospects open emails and click on links, that is invaluable to me and I've found few other CRMs that do that.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not much, wish I had the higher access level but the price jump is too high.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It has definitely helped me stay on top of prospects which helps me make more sales and earn higher commissions.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Its a definite must have.
Great software for a number of reasons
What do you like best about the product?
I love getting into the weeds on the various aspects of HubSpot and really testing to see what it can do. The truth is that we are probably still only scratching the surface with it. My favorite part at the moment is workflows which allow us to automate a lot of what we do and better sort our growing client list for re-marketing and general sorting/filtering in the future. I also love the ability to build almost anything in the Deals section that helps with tracking sales.
What do you dislike about the product?
I can't think of anything I dislike about HubSpot at the moment. The support team is always great when I have a question or suggestion and it is rare that I find something that it can't do for us - even if it means a slight workaround to make it happen. We also use HubSpot for out marketing automation so there is definitely a lot going on in our system but I believe HubSpot does a great job keeping it all clear from each other.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Lots of problems. Our website is not the best so we use it for some of our most trafficked landing pages, to send our newsletter, to automatically store information from forms, tracking leads, tracking sales, keeping track of all client contact in one place. HubSpot solves a whole host of problems we has prior to our using it, and we continue to grow and learn new things that it can help us out with as we continue to use it.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Try it out first. I spent about 2 years with HubSpot on my radar before trialing it out and another few months using the marketing automation before we took the plunge and starting using it for real. I don't think everyone needs to take that long but be familiar with it and then jump in on whatever level you are comfortable with when you are ready.
Definitely Recommend
What do you like best about the product?
The automated email sequences and open notifications.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not being able to edit live sequences with additional emails attached. The enrollment process of having to manually confirm each address takes forever.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being able to handle multiple deal opportunities at once. I'm able to keep up with a lot more activity without the stress of manually inputting follow-ups, etc..
Excellent CRM!
What do you like best about the product?
The user-friendliness, tasks, and reporting
What do you dislike about the product?
At times, it takes a while to load pages
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The simplistic flow of converting a lead. The functionality that HubSpot provides within each contact entry makes it very easy to mark the progress and then track it within the reporting. Additionally, I can get more emails and calls done in a more efficient manner due to the layout and functionality of HubSpot.
Very good

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is convenient being able to send an email from hubspot and track when emails are read. I can easily keep my leads organized as well.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Very easy to use and gets the job done
HubSpot is a good tool its just not perfect
What do you like best about the product?
I use HubSpot daily and having the features of making tasks and leaving notes is extremely helpful. Being able to write notes and than assign a follow up on a specific date is very useful. I often times write about who I spoke with what we spoke about and when a follow up should occur. This can help close sales deals in the future.
I also use HubSpot for marketing. It is ok it does allow me to create posts for multiple media platforms at once which is nice.

What do you dislike about the product?
I am often given poor information from HubSpot. The most common issue that I have is that I am given names of decison makers that have died or left the company 10 years ago. This often times upsets who I am speaking to slowing down my sales process. I now spend more time on LinkedIn doing research than I do looking at the HubSpot content. This is annoying because I than have to update all the information I feel as if it would be better if the names weren't there and I paid a cheaper price for the service. Another issue I run into is that a lot of times the businesses that HubSpot gives me or either closed for a number of years and just poor businesses to contact (meaning there is only 1 or 2 people in their office). I end up spending a lot of time trying to find a businesses and making sure that there is evidence that they are closed before I delete their company profile. This is time consuming and frustrating.
Onto the marketing side of things. I do marketing for all our social media platforms which HubSpot supports but, the issue I have with it is that when I draft a posting for all of them and then I edit one or two it will not edit the rest. I understand why they did this because for example Twitter has a max character limit far less than Facebook and Instagram. I wish there was a feature though that allowed me to make corresponding edits on all of them at once because I am not always using a ton of characters just a couple lines and a photo. Lastly I use stock photos from HubSpot and it is so hard to see them when you click on them. There is no way to drag the window to make it expand so I have to sit very close to the computer to look at all the photos when I do a search. You should be able to drag the window to make everything larger at the time being it is only using a quarter of the screen.

HubSpot is helping me set valid appointments with people. A benefit from HubSpot is being able to to use notes to my advantage. Almost everyday I run into the issue of the decision maker not being in the office for a couple days or is out on vacation. I can leave a not saying they went of vacation and will be back the on a certain date, create a task that reminds to me call back then, and I can use the note to spark conversation about asking how their vacation was.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you have sales people who makes calls a lot and want to note basic info like who you talked to, when you talked, the outcome of the call, when/if you should call back HubSpot does this it is pretty basic. I would not recommend it for marketing I am sure there are marketing focused software that is better.
