I like the task feature a lot and use it often.
What do you like best about the product?
This is my first time using Hubspot in a job and I have been happy with it so far. Using tasks helps me a lot. I like how you can add filters to search through contacts as well. It makes it very easy to source when you can narrow down to very specific requirements when searching through the CRM system.
What do you dislike about the product?
Hubspot sometimes goes down and makes it very hard to do my job. When you get the ice cream cone on the screen, it is never a good sign. I wish you were notified when a contact was taken out of your name. As of now you cannot tell when a college takes a lead from you. I think it would be beneficial to see when someone else changes your name on a contact to theirs. I wish you could organize tasks easier by importance. It is not clear to me on how to do this because the priority list on the drop down button has nothing listed under it. When you click on it, it just sorts the list by date which doesn't necessarily mean importance.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is nice to have all contacts documented in one space. In a previous job, we kept track of contacts on a piece of paper and had one piece of paper per contact. Very old school and you couldn't easily keep track of when you last called them. Hubspot is a great modern way to keep track of the merchants/clients you work with and see their progress with the company. You can see which stage of the deal a customer is in which is one of my favorite features. Helps you keep track of a typical timeline and how things should be moving along.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would recommend Hubspot to other users. It is easy to use and easy to understand for first time users. Being someone that had never used a large CRM system before, I was nervous that if I didn't learn how to use Hubspot, that it would be a big pain everyday and limit my ability to work. I used to keep track of customers on a piece of paper so this technology task seemed daunting. As I have learned more and more about Hubspot, I have learned how easy it is to use. Hubspot has designed a system where even a caveman could figure it out.
Great interface options for organizing and viewing tickets. Email notifications could be improved.
What do you like best about the product?
The filters and reports dashboard make it easy to find the tickets and summaries I'm looking for. The board view for tickets helps my team quickly review tickets in each status. The ability to preview tickets from this view is also very valuable for team meetings.
What do you dislike about the product?
The email notifications are not always readable; I would prefer plain-text emails. Some functionality, like automatically creating new contacts, and not including the whole email thread in replies, are a little cumbersome. Some important email alerts, like handing off a ticket to a new owner, are missed.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
HubSpot has improved our weekly team meeting to go over all open tickets thanks to custom filters, board view, and the preview functionality. Our team member leading the HubSpot migration effort is still working on configuring some items, mostly email-related.
Transparency and Connectivity in one "spot"
What do you like best about the product?
Being able to see work from other departments. The transparency of communications really helps multiple departments accountable and on the same page. Having transparency with other team members and their communication does a great service to our customer service benchmarks.
What do you dislike about the product?
Tracking on certain activities may not be realistically represented on the actual production. There may some specific things that management looks at for reporting but is not a direct reflection of the amount of work that was actually done. It still needs a little tweaking. Perhaps "contacts touched or reviewed" should be included in reporting.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Benefits are the transparency of communications and accountability of each department that is represented in the "Activities" tab. Having all the information in one place saves me on opening windows and clicks. Tasks keep me focused on what I need to prioritize and what I can save for tomorrow.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you are looking to work in one location but able to see notes and information from different sources, Hubspot is a great place to work in. It would help to consolidate some of the excess apps you may not need and will most likely save you money.
Wonderful technology for sales people to manage their business.
What do you like best about the product?
Allows you to stay incredibly organized. Everything is very intuitive. It integrates with discoverorg seamlessly. It is a very powerful tool without being overwhelming. I am able to manage communications, email campaigns, deal stages, etc with ease. I am easily able to make all my calls through Hubspot. This allows me to track all calls and I can type notes directly into the platform while on the phone. It tracks all my other activities which keeps a record of the work I'm doing. It even has a business card scanning function via the phone that saves input time. My pipeline management is a snap now. Very, very happy with the product overall
What do you dislike about the product?
Because it's web based, changes require a screen refresh for them to take effect. The information display takes a little getting used to. I don't have a better suggestion, and it isn't an issue for me now, but when I started it all kind of ran together. Some of my complaints (visibility issues when entering new contacts) has been fixed.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Organization. I am on top of all of my tasks. I don't miss things anymore. My worth can be objectively measured not just by the amount of money I bring in but by the amount of activity / meetings / calls. It allows our team to share data seamlessly and makes it easy to avoid stepping on each other's toes.
HubSpot is a CRM power house! I highly recommend.

Our company is comprised of 100% remote workers. HubSpot helps us be consistent in our communications company-wide to our dealerships.

I cannot think of anything that is a downside in using HubSpot.

I like how simple it is to use hubspot the same way I would use Salesforce + a sales enablement tool.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am using Hubspot to run sales email campaigns. The snippets feature is really helpful to have pre-written answers that customers always ask.

What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use. I appreciate that I can easily navigate the system, set tasks after sending an email or logging a phone call to stay on track with my follow-ups.
I also use the mobile app and keep track of my activities when I'm not at my desk/computer.

What do you dislike about the product?
The integration between Wistia & Hubspot is challenging. The stats on Wistia are difficult to attribute to the specific HubSpot user. Using a thumbnail image to link videos is not a function anymore. I would like the meeting functions to communicate in both directions so prospects cannot set a time when I'm already booked.
Hubspot and Franconnet should be able to communicate with each other. As it stands now, the sales & development team uses Hubspot to attract and close new franchisees but when they have turned over to the operations team, they are unable to view the information from the sales process, making it a more difficult transition than it should be.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Adding meetings directly to my outlook calendar has helped me complete the sales process faster and with more accuracy. When setting a meeting, my attendees are given the option to confirm or reschedule, reducing the back & forth communication. I appreciate the ability to upload large documents to send to my prospects. When they view them, I can also see how long they've viewed, how many times they clicked, and when they looked. It's so much easier to separate engaged prospects from those that are disinterested.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
This is the easiest CRM that I have used, I recommend starting with HubSpot because you'll be starting at the top.

not being able to pause sequences or set holiday hours - basically all my client enrolled in a sequence will receive emails on holidays. there's no way for me to bulk change that. I need to update 400 contacts manually.

The perfect fit for our inbound strategy
What do you like best about the product?
What I like best about Hubspot is its easy to use platform and helpful articles and guides. Hubspot lets us manage our pipeline and see the entire customer journey. It is very interesting to keep track of everything that happens from the first touch with marketing content to the moment they convert in a website form, to the conversations and negotiations with a sales exec, until (and after) the lead becomes a customer.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think it could improve the flexibility and customization of reports and dashboards.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Hubspot is our ally in our inbound strategy. All our website forms are connected to Hubspot and it is very helpful to keep track of our lead generation efforts as well as the conversion rates in our funnel.

HubSpot is the perfect all in one software taking care of your work as a CRM, manage your marketing and is perfect for automating your sales process.
This is especially important for startup and SMEs that don't have the resources and manpower to constantly follow up with prospects.
On top as a former director of global product support, I have to admit that their services are top-notch. Seriously, the best support and service I have ever experienced. I have never waited for more than 2minutes to get a reply and all the replies I received were amazingly helpful. I admit I am a fanboy.

If only they would also cover invoicing. Just recently I needed to look for an invoicing tool and there is nothing that is so flexible and yet so integrated.

As a startup, Hubspot helps us managing all the contacts and contact related information in one place (CRM). This helps us in our daily work as everyone can simply look up the information needed when talking to a prospect.
Further, it allows us to easily automate the entire sales process and prospecting. On the marketing side, we can automate our content posting on social media at the beginning of the week thus focusing our efforts on other areas of the business for the rest of the week.
