    Reviewed on Jun 04, 2026
    Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
I really like the excellent technical support they provide as well as the presales support. The initial setup experience was very good and we were excellently assisted by the technical support.
What do you dislike about the product?
The graphical interface of the backup world in Microsoft 365 could be improved. It is well done, however, there are some details that can be improved.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
HYCU solves the concern of having a valid return and offers backup for Nutanix environments on HV hypervisor, as well as backup solutions for TASI5 and Google Workspace.

Simple and Efficient Backup for Nutanix Environments

    Reviewed on May 21, 2026
    Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
What I like best about HYCU is how easy it is to use while still being powerful. The integration with Nutanix is seamless, backup management is straightforward, and it simplifies protecting both on-premises and cloud workloads
What do you dislike about the product?
What I dislike most about HYCU is the lack of an efficient file indexing/search feature. It can be difficult to quickly find a specific file when you need to restore it, particularly in large backup environments.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
HYCU is solving the challenge of managing backups in a Nutanix environment without relying on overly complex traditional backup tools. The main benefit for us is easier administration, faster restores, and better visibility over protected workloads.

Simple UI, Great Performance for S3 Backups, and Helpful Support

What do you like best about the product?
I like the simplicity of the UI. It’s easy to connect to Nutanix, and the performance is good for S3 backups. The price is good, and support helps us frequently when we need it. I also don’t need to use AI.
What do you dislike about the product?

API-Driven Backup That Protects Modern VMs and SaaS Effortlessly

    Reviewed on May 20, 2026
    Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
Instead of forcing old, heavy backup software into modern environments, HYCU connects directly via APIs. It protects everything from standard VMs to niche SaaS tools (like Jira, Okta, and GitHub) and visualizes your entire data estate automatically.
What do you dislike about the product?
Because it’s built purely for modern hyperconverged and cloud environments, it falls short if your data center still relies on bare-metal physical servers or legacy hypervisors like Hyper-V.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The SaaS Backup Gap: Many organizations falsely assume SaaS vendors back up their data. Under the Shared Responsibility Model, vendors only secure the infrastructure—the actual data is the user's responsibility. HYCU provides automated, offsite backups for over 100+ SaaS apps (like Jira, Okta, and GitHub) that traditional backups ignore.

Sober interface, fast restoration, and very efficient support

    Reviewed on May 19, 2026
    Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
The interface is simple and efficient. I also appreciate its connection with Nutanix, the speed of restoration, as well as the different options offered for restoring. Finally, the support is very effective.
What do you dislike about the product?
The pricing seems a bit high to me nonetheless.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It allows us to be efficient when a problem arises with our VMs or our files, and to have great responsiveness in our maintenance operations. This naturally encourages migrations and new projects, because in the event of an incident we can quickly roll back. Moreover, some AI-driven automatic managements are quite well handled.

Simplify O365 Backups with an Intuitive Interface

    Reviewed on May 19, 2026
    Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
I love the simplicity of using the HYCU interface. It's great that HYCU is connected to my O365 instance and that each active licensed account is automatically brought into HYCU without any action on my part. It's really convenient.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would have liked to have a single unified administration center for O365 and Azure. It would also be useful for O365 accounts to see if an account hasn't logged in for more than 15 days to avoid forgetting licenses.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
HYCU simplifies outsourcing O365 backups. The interface is easy to use, and it activates all licensed accounts automatically without any intervention on my part.

What do you like best about the product?
Ability to backup iManage workspace data
What do you dislike about the product?
Its relatively new product and has taken some time to get working properly, but working support we are nearly there
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Having a copy of all iManage data outside of iManage environment, meaning we can look to effect some housekeeping/records management on our old file data
