Easy system to navigate.
What do you like best about the product?
A cloud-based system allows you to connect from any device and from anywhere.
What do you dislike about the product?
The Global COnsolidations are too long for past periods, and once the consolidation is in progress, it cannot be canceled.

Having all accounting information updated at any time.

It is helping to be more efficient with minimal errors
15+ year CPA now in a controllership role using Sage for a mid-sized company.
What do you like best about the product?
I would say the ease of importing data, creating divisions and having good control over setting up and modifying reports.
What do you dislike about the product?
A "wizard" like approach to reports would be helpful, particularly more common ones.

Basic accounting mostly, but we really like the number of integrations Sage offers.
well designed and structure
What do you like best about the product?
After coming from an outdated finance system. it was a relief to find a system that supports the fast growth of the company. it was quick and smooth to set the system up both from Sage and their suggest third party. it is well structure and is very user friendly for people chnaging system especially when used to another system for several years.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes there re some areas of design or items that i wish were more adaptable and user chosen so that you could change the type of reports or add in specific items to be able to tailor the whole system to each company as everyone is different.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
user friendly, modernasation, project tracking, bank reconciliation, streamlining and speed of the use of the system and increasing the speed of the system with near to known delay and no crashes.
Sage Intacct is a great system to streamline processes
What do you like best about the product?
The approval of Journal Entries can be delegated to various individuals based on responsibility. The Accounts Payable module is excellent for attaching invoices directly in the system.
What do you dislike about the product?
The reporting in Sage Intacct is not great. Each line on a financial statement is independent; if there is an error, it does not show unless each line is checked for accuracy.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Having the relevant managers approve their team's journal entries and taking responsibility. This makes others managers more productive to concentrate on their own responsiblities.
Easy to use
What do you like best about the product?
Super simple to use and I love that there's a "help on this page" button to assist if you're stuck on how to do something. I haven't used another system like Sage so it's hard to compare but I wouldn't want to honestly with how simple this system is.
What do you dislike about the product?
There's nothing really specific that I dislike about Intacct, there are a few things here and there that are minor but not worth complaining about. I do like that there's videos and things to watch when there's updates.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sage is very helpful with keeping up with our vendors, what we've paid them, bills to be paid out. I do feel more productive and able to get things done quicker.
Easy to learn-not the best for complicated entity structures
What do you like best about the product?
Very easy to learn for new users-seems intuitive. Lots of good reports. I like the ability to create custom views and export to Microsoft Excel. Good audit trail.
What do you dislike about the product?
Doesn't work as well for complicated entity structures. We are stuck with some less helpful entity structures that we couldn't change in the system. Apparently, it is not possible to change these past the initial setup. We also were not able to set up the consolidation module due to the initial setup.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Complicated accounting for multiple locations and projects. Good audit trail to see who is responsible for specific entries. Good report-pulling capabilities. The downside is that pulling the report for all entities' trial balance YTD takes a really long time and we have not been able to implement the consolidation module that is available through Intacct due to the initial setup several years ago.

What do you like best about the product?
Reports are tailored to one's needs. with other systems, you can only get a few reports whereas with Sage, you can pull reports based on your requirements.

Allocation of credit notes is not specific to an invoice. It lumps all the credit notes into one lumpsum total, instead of having a single credit note to a specific invoice

Producing relevant reports, capturing of data and ease of the invoicing function

Intacct is very easy to use for the most part.
What do you dislike about the product?
When things error out, sometimes it doesnt give a clear explanation why.

Allows a clear workflow for our orders, that is transparent across teams.

What do you like best about the product?
I love how easy it is to pick up from square one. Having been using QuickBooks before the change seemed daunting, but it was straightforward and easy to learn in under 3 months. The site is clean and easy to read. They are constantly rolling out updates to make the user experience more enjoyable. I am quite pleased with how easy the check deposits and AP invoices are.
What do you dislike about the product?
Least favorite thing is that there is no dark mode. For my disabilities, I function much better with a dark or dimmer system, and Intacct (as far as i am aware) is only sheet white, which gets draining on the eyes after 3-9 hours of use. I also do not see a text-to-speech option here for further accessibility.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It has helped our company have a far clearer and more organized spot for all the AP and AR accounting. It has given us a way to better assure the correct payment is going to the correct place. I enjoy how easy it is to pick up and learn each new feature as well!
