Great Accounting ERP for all types of companies!
What do you like best about the product?
What is most helpful about Sage Intacct is that it has multiple integrations to different software used for accounting purposes and makes us efficient.
What do you dislike about the product?
The one downside to Sage Intacct is its lack of user-friendly UI in some modules.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps us with basic accounting as well as project accounting. It houses all of the accounting for our many legal entities.

What do you like best about the product?
User-Friendly and robust system. Easy to navigate
What do you dislike about the product?
The color of charts cannot be changed and one have to rely on existing colors

It helps me build reports on several dimensions

Not good for interfaces with other software when doing system conversion

Cut back on clutter and also having documents readily available
Highly Recommend Sage Intacct
What do you like best about the product?
Sage Intacct is easy and intuitive to use. The software is robust, and the reporting options are seemingly endless. The online help files are amazing. We are relatively new to Sage, but we are 100% sold so far!
What do you dislike about the product?
The permissions I am able to assign to an "Employee" user are not quite as broad as I would like. Other than that, being a new customer, I have not yet encountered any other downsides.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We like being able to have employees create their own purchase orders that get converted to vendor invoices, it saves time on A/P. Automation of transactions and the "duplicate" feature on many transactions is wonderful. We are thrilled with the myriad reporting options.
Learning curve, but great to use!
What do you like best about the product?
I like how easy it is to understand the program's use. The help center is also friendly and easy. Each "module" is a great guide to how to record items properly.
What do you dislike about the product?
I do not like how technical it is, and it is not for the average user with no accounting background. I wish there were "basic" reports, such as profit and loss and balance sheet, so that we do not have to build those reports from the bottom up.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps us account for, record and report on each of our company's programs. We transitioned over from quickbooks which it did not have the capacity for the companies reporting.
Sage is good but lacking some futures
What do you like best about the product?
It is easy to use and sending out invoices is a breeze.
What do you dislike about the product?
Opening up multiple tabs is difficult and can sometimes make drilling in to numbers complicated.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It solved our revenue and billing issues
Intacct Helped Modernize and Integrate Processes
What do you like best about the product?
I like that Intacct has connections to many different third parties, which helps speed up processes and make workflows more efficient.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the reporting can be inflexible in the system. We have also had to change account managers after having a difficult relationship with one.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Intacct is a cloud based system, which was essential during the pandemic and everyone was working from home. Sage has helped reduce the amount of paper we use by being able to attach documents to transactions. We are able to see where approvals are much easier now that they are within the system.
Sage Intacct is the best
What do you like best about the product?
It is straightforward to use. Since it is not an app, we can access it from any browser. Also, we can find tutorials and helpful information about what we can do.
What do you dislike about the product?
To be very honest by there is nothing that I dislike. I want to mention that sometimes when you duplicate an invoice. The new invoice's attachment will replace the one on the old one. That is very annoying
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Paying invoices, generating reports, and creating invoices. Reconcile credit cards. Since it is straightforward to use, we can do everything fast and accurately.
Gets the job done, but many fallbacks
What do you like best about the product?
I like the flexibility with creating custom reports, even though they can be very difficult to create. I like that Intacct syncs with bill.com and other 3rd party apps, even though there are errors sometimes.
What do you dislike about the product?
Very complicated report-building function. Many things cannot be modified without administrative privileges. The invoice date cannot be changed once posted. You cannot add many more dimensions unless they are user-defined ones that have less flexibility. When trying to import csv files and getting an import error, the error is very hard to understand and sometimes doesn't provide any explanation at all. There are very few resources online for helping with issues related to Intacct.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Intacct is providing my employer with cheap accounting software to save money. Intacct also allows easy onboarding of clients who you can teach how to use Intacct with little issue once you spend 1 or 2 thousand hours using it.

What do you like best about the product?
Streamlined design, ability to import estimates/cost codes. The search feature is nice once you learn how to appropriately use it. Communication with support is available.
What do you dislike about the product?
The "print or email" button on the purchase order search screen doesn't do anything; because of this, it takes several clicks to print one. Unable to update tax region once PO is committed

Providing a way to streamline accounting from estimate to AP.
