The effects of Sage Intacct
What do you like best about the product?
It's has unique plenty of tools which makes it easy to access each module and make changes where necessary.
The product not only can it be used on financial management and analysis,Our Human Resource Department started using this application for payroll as it streamlines data entry. Another aspect is the ability this application has to import and integrate with other softwares and financial data like the inventory transactions plus payments. We have been loosing a lot of data before Sage Intacct came about but right now our data is safe and well managed by this application.
Sage Intacct report breakdown and report generating is outstanding. The dashboard features are also helpful, user friendly interface which works as our accounting tools square. Perhaps I may say its a God sent platform. Sage Intacct has the ability to track the history of all transactions and verify them. The features as well can do the modification of journal lines instantly.

What do you dislike about the product?
Small challenges but can be worked on. With this Product,not easy to issue a cheque and at the same time you code it to cash account. Extremely hard. In the near future, it's something that can be worked on. Otherwise other services are on point.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sage Intacct has played a very important role for us to track our expenses and at the same time our revenue as compared to old software.

What do you like best about the product?
This is very helpful especially when you need either in detailed or summarised form financial analysis. Sage Intacct facilitates all the information you may need. This product let's you update things like the inventory without any challenge as well as printing any ammendments that might have been executed.

As good as it's, it integrates very well with 3rd parties, it allows us to use our other softwares to import financial data like Pos,invoices, inventory transactions and payments to compile accurate financials. Nothing much to note as a dislike but at least the application should have some subsections in its interface for expenses and revenue or rather income.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Data integrity. We had experienced Data loss in the past, but in the recent days, it's just a story that was put to rest. Sage Intacct took control of everything and we're satisfied with the extraordinary service.

What do you like best about the product?
Sage Intacct is well suited for all companies. It is one of the best and most secure accounting and financial management software that allows us to manage our expenses with ease. I use it with entering AR and AP invoices, submitting them for payment, setting up the check run, running end month report, posting monthly journal entries, reconciling all our bank accounts etc. I love how easy it is to use and you can customize it to fit your needs.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sage Intacct is the real deal accounting and financial management application. We have used it for more than 4 years now and it works pretty well.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Any company looking for a very effective and solid accounting and financial management application then Sage Intacct is the real deal. It makes it possible to manage payroll by generating good profitability systems. It is very easy to set up because technical support generally always available and kindly helpful.

Sage Intacct is very easy to navigate and has the ability to import and integrate with other applications. The platform is very easy to add new acquisitions to the environment because the chart of accounts and dimensions flow down to the new entity once added.

Nothing really much to say about Sage Intacct but sometimes you can't issue a cheque and code it to the cash account.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The software is an excellent tool for managing finances and reporting. The platform has helped me and the company to be who we're today by being more effectively active in our work.
Just right sized accounting system
What do you like best about the product?
I like the reporting features and ease of startup of Intacct
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the Add on modules were a little pricey, such as budgeting and fixed assets
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Accurate timely financial statements, revenue recognition, adjusting entries, integrates well with our ERP ticketing system
Fully integratable
What do you like best about the product?
Intacct integrates with most software seamlessly or with the aid of a connector. Excellent community and learning center. Although more of the learning programs should be free since the subscription itself is so costly.
What do you dislike about the product?
Creating checklists could be easier. Color coding on financial reports could be improved (having separate sections for revenue & expenses).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Automating journal entries for prepaids and accruals to relieve the administrative burden during month end close. It is not difficult to post manual payments if our outside AP platform misses or doesn't sync properly.
Missing basic functionality that Quickbooks has
What do you like best about the product?
I like using Dimensions; they are mighty. As a nonprofit, we migrated from Quickbooks to Intacct in 2021 for two reasons: 1. We can track grant restrictions 2. Dynamic allocations.
What do you dislike about the product?
1. Export to excel does not include formulas (I waste so many hours recreating formulas it's infuriating)
2. Implementation required a third party that messed up our configuration, and there was no help to fix the configuration error, which cost additional money for another third party to correct.
3. Quickbooks credit card processing was streamlined; Intacct does not have a native cc processor, and one has to build one for Stripe with a third party.
4. Product releases are confusing and slow. Announcement of Artificial Intelligence for Billing in 2021, but did not follow through with release until 2023, with no straightforward implementation instructions.
5. Dashboards are not very dynamic and visually unappealing.
6. Basic dashboard are weak compared to QuickBooks.
7. Report writing is complex and not user-friendly. Quickbooks out of the box reports are super easy in comparison.

True Cloud Based Accounting Software
What do you like best about the product?
Sage Intacct is a cut above the rest for us as a professional and managed services organisation, we use not only core financials but also have multiple entities and currencies and we also use the projects module to bill our customers from timesheets all held and approved within Intacct. We use the prepayments module and lots of other features to really streamline our processes and more importantly get rid of spreadsheets!
What do you dislike about the product?
The UI can be confusing sometimes but like anything else with a little practice and usage you get used to where things are and how to use the system as neatly as possible.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sage Intacct is streamlining month end, allowing us to invoice hundreds of clients in just over an hour rather than 2 days, links to our bank to reconcile all our income and expenditure and allows us to have more accurate and real time management accounts.
Easy when templates are in place
What do you like best about the product?
When uploading receivables via the template, using Sage Intacct is quick and easy. I am able to review the upload and adjust coding if needed.
What do you dislike about the product?
It works well for my position. I would like more versatility in some reports.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Streamlining both A/P and A/R and the check process.
Everything you need in a software
What do you like best about the product?
Sage is continuously evolving it's software in order to satisfy it's customers and making things more efficient for it's users.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think the only downside I have is having multiple logins for using the software, and another login for Sage community.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sage is currently helping us process invoices in half the amount of time it takes me to manually enter the invoices. It helps us to keep track of our expenses, as well as revenue.
