I've used the system for over 12 years, I'm a huge fan.
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to customize fields, dimensions, reports, etc.
What do you dislike about the product?
Overall I'm a big fan. There is always room for improvement. I would like to see improvements in the inter-entity receivables and amortization module.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are growing. I've added 25 entities to our system in the last month. Adding a new entity, setting up bank accounts, etc. is very easy.

What do you like best about the product?
It's an outstanding and very effective tool for accounting and financial management. Makes it easy to manage expenses and validate expense reports. Very user-friendly, intuitive and highly customizable to suit your needs.
What do you dislike about the product?
Have not yet experienced any challenges since I started using Sage Intacct.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Great customer service and excellent services. It is one of my favorite application for financial management. It helps me to manage our business expenditures and helps to reduce paper work and eliminate human errors.
Complicated,charges for support including issues from new releases very slow to get answers back

History and audit trail to see who did what and the ability to limit access

Limit transactions from warehouse, slow responses, charged for support from reseler for a cloud based solution. Top and Bottom cause issues, can't delete

It is creating more than it is solving
Accounting software like QuickBooks is the best I've ever used.
What do you like best about the product?
I love the robust feature set of Sage Intacct, especially its integration capabilities. It is easy to use and understand while managing cash flow and creating consolidated financial reports that include revaluations on foreign exchange transactions. Our workflow has become more streamlined because connections with other software programs like MineralTree FloQast allow us to optimize our month-end processes and automate Accounts Payable. Moreover, it's super helpful in generating meaningful financial analysis regardless if we need a summary or detailed insight at the entity level or for an entire organization – all without sacrificing accuracy!
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like Sage Intacct to provide guidance for failed imports so I can troubleshoot it efficiently. It would be helpful to receive suggestions as to how the value should be or examples of a good deal; similar features in other ERP applications, for example NEO or SAP, could also benefit me greatly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The Sage Intacct software application simplifies the process of generating financial statements, allowing a diverse range of users-not just accountants- to gain quicker access to data if month-end is completed sooner.
Outstanding Software for financial reporting!
What do you like best about the product?
One of my favorite features of Intacct is its ability to create duplicate invoices and make simplifications the invoice process easily. When modifying a journal entry, rather than having to determine which account to record it in, you can return to a previous entry and change the numbers there. Additionally, exporting data into Excel is a very convenient feature of this Software. We rely significantly on Excel exports from the built-in export function within Sage Intact. Overall, Sage Intacct has proved itself as an exceptional resource - particularly for month-end reconciliation and invoice verification before payment tasks.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wouldn't say I like how the Jobs screen is organized with a hierarchical parent-job connection. To disable this hierarchy, you must go to the All menu and select the corresponding checkbox. But each click causes the website to reload, which takes a few seconds. So it can take quite some time to disable the hierarchy view if you have a lot of jobs.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The main problem that Sage Intacct is facing is that they need a way to connect all of their assets. This makes tracking and collecting money for their equipment difficult, mainly if multiple employees use the same support. Additionally, their invoicing information needs to be more comprehensive, which makes it even more challenging to keep track of everything.

What do you like best about the product?
Sage really helps keep all accounts payable aspects in order in an easy, and manageable, user friendly way. I love how banking is so easy as well with the bank recs.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like that you have to resign in after a short amount of time, during my workday i have to sign in a few times and restart all the entities. If it can be longer, that would be great.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sage is solving having invoices missing or duplicated because it doesn't allow for duplicate invoices to be imported from other programs. Helps for accurate bookeeping.

What do you like best about the product?
The best things I like about Sage Intacct are its powerful reporting features and how you can " customize " the data. The software is also easy to pick up and operate due to its aesthetic design. Another great thing is that Sage users can combine their software with those of other industry giants. Our organization has integrated Sage with various applications, such as Expensify and Bill.com. For the most part, Sage Intacct has exceeded my expectations; I'm delighted we made the transfer to it from our old accounting software.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wouldn't say I like that Sage Intacct doesn't keep up with the IRS's constantly changing standards for completing information returns and the required supporting documents. As someone responsible for Regulatory Compliance processes, this lack of updates creates more work because I have to research the changes myself and then update our procedures accordingly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sage Intacct is a hub for other accounting tools we use from our suppliers. It assists us with automating a considerable number of administrative work, simplifying our accounting methods, and saving resources.
Excellent money management software
What do you like best about the product?
The best things about Sage Intacct Dashboard are the financial reporting, user-friendly layout, and real-time report generation. I'm glad it's used extensively in our accounting group because it makes changes easy to track and revert if needed. Using the help center is thorough and easy to use, which is excellent when confidence in one's ability to make alterations without harming process flow is lacking. Being able to modify journal lines immediately is a nice feature as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wouldn't say I like Sage Intacct Consolidation because it's a phenomenon that is difficult to comprehend. It's not recommended for businesses with several locations or subsidiaries either. Once a transaction has been consolidated, keeping track of it becomes nearly impossible. Especially when working with overseas companies, it might be challenging to trace a transaction from its initial entry, via its intercompany, to its eventual destination in a consolidated financial statement.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sage Intacct is helping us to eliminate our challenges with manual data entry. Thanks to Intacct's automated capabilities, our monthly billing procedure has become much more efficient.

What do you like best about the product?
What I like best about Sage Intacct is the readability and comprehensiveness of its reports. Before submitting an account, you can make any necessary modifications or deletions without needing to export the information to Excel first to manipulate it by adding and removing data and calculations. This saves a great deal of time. It is invaluable to know members of our board are confident in the reports we provide them – understanding the findings – while not requiring us to adjust the pieces manually.
What do you dislike about the product?
What one individual dislikes about Sage Intacct is having to adjust accounts payable and receivable manually. It can also be challenging to reconcile bank accounts. However, with Sage Intacct's frequent updates and new capabilities, the software can be used more alongside the company's growth.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The primary problem with the Sage Intacct system is that it could be more user-friendly. The accounting department spends a great deal of time training new employees on how to use the system, and even then, they often need help using it effectively. Other departments also find the plan challenging, leading to frustration and wasted time.

What do you like best about the product?
I like how easy it is to access each module and make any necessary changes in Sage Intacct. It's just a few clicks, and everything is updated as I see fit. Additionally, I am able to find any bill I've entered using the wildcard character and its name very easily and quickly. Plus, they are accessible with a single mouse click if desired, which is excellent.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find the Sage Intacct Constraints to be very frustrating. I understand that compliance is essential, but adding new notes or lines on invoices or contracts is incredibly annoying whenever a customer requests a change. It will be easier if we modify the contract's provisions after it has been finalized.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The 21st century is here! Our current system is outdated and needs to be replaced. It was once manual, but now it's a streamlined accounting and project budgeting platform.
