The pricing tier of Sage Intacct is relatively expensive unlike it's alternatives like QuickBooks Online.

Sage Intacct is fantastic!
What do you like best about the product?
Sage Intacct is a robust software that has the ability to take care of many needs for a month-end close process. The customization of their report center makes it great to build out reports to your specific financial reviewing needs.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is very little I dislike about Intacct. If there is something I am struggling with, I am able to find a resolution through their helpful tools and online communities.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sage Intacct's cash reconciliations make simple cash reconciliations easier and all saved in one place. The duplicate function for various tasks like journal entries makes it easier to record many items and reduces human error.

What do you like best about the product?
I love the plug-and-play nature. Multiple modules and open API to pick and choose what works for us.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some modules are clunky (Fixed Assets and Prepaids) and the system could be a little more user-friendly to manage settings.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use the API, reporting, and dashboards to eliminate manual clicks and exports as much as possible.
Easy to use with limitations
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use and with many functionalities.
What do you dislike about the product?
Intacct is unable to handle multibillion numbers for impressions count, the sometimes tech issues and the support team long response time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Not sure, would still like multibillion numbers to be able to work. Updates are also done weekly on Friday evening when some people are still working.
Great user-friendly ERP for small to medium businesses
What do you like best about the product?
I love the interface, it's very straightforward and easy to learn. The support we can attach to journal entries is extremely helpful for audit/research purposes and matches that of a more expensive ERP like D365.
What do you dislike about the product?
Customization is somewhat difficult, mainly in reports. There are limitations from the user side that an Admin needs to do. I also don't like that all excel exports come out in a strange format that Excel doesn't recognize (webpage format?).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's a great cloud-based accounting software that allows our remote teams to work without needing servers and VPN like with older ERPs. It sets up great audit evidence as well.
Sage intacct is undoubtedly the best
What do you like best about the product?
It allows us to monitor the expenses of each project, taking into account the hours spent. We can also track orders and activities performed by each employee to determine their cost. Processing payments is also done quickly and automatically, as well as invoices and checks.
What do you dislike about the product?
The software can be challenging for people who are not familiar with similar programs, even for some experienced users it can be intimidating, due to the amount of tools it has and the way they are located, in folders and subfolders, which prevent you from moving comfortably through the program. Once you are familiar with the system, you can take full advantage of its potential.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This finance software has helped us automate many tasks in the department, streamlining our work. It has useful tools such as the automation of bank reconciliations, collections of pending payments and online payments to our suppliers. It also allows us to organize our inventory and optimize it easily.
It is very user friendly and forgiving

How easy it is to navigate from and has multiple windows.
What do you dislike about the product?
You have to sign in from time to time and get back into new windows.

I am able to see who updated certain things entered for all of us to access.

I do not have any major complaints. I wish the home screen was a little more detailed.

Good Customizable Accounting Solution
What do you like best about the product?
Sage Intacct is by far the most customizable accounting software I have used. With the report writer and interactive, customizable report writer, you can build out great detailed reports and dashboards.
What do you dislike about the product?
While the report writing and dashboard features are powerful tools, their layered nature does mean there is a big learning curve. It would be great to see more free training resources to help with this.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sage Intacct helps us manage our daily transactions as well as our monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting. It also integrates with our other software systems to help us streamline tasks.
