Intacct is flexible
What do you like best about the product?
Intacct supports a wide array of companies and provides features and customization that allow its services to grow with the company
What do you dislike about the product?
Integration with other common systems such as bill.com can be difficult. There is a learning curve, but not necessarily longer than other accounting softwares.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Intacct provides efficiencies in the accounting function and allows timely reporting as well as invoice tracking and easier reconciliation processes.

reporting capabilities are strong and the ability to organize invoices and run different reports for viewing the ledger helps stay organized

sometimes perhaps a bit slow, i also wish that there were easier ways to print one off checks, and also more options for drilling down to certain transactions
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sage does allow for quite simple and straightforward reconciliations, as well as end of month processes. we are able to get more done in a shorter amount of time

What do you like best about the product?
I like the ability to have favorite reports, which we use frequently.
I also appreciate the ability to easily drill down to see expense in a certain category.

I am pretty new to Sage, but so far, nothing has worked improperly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are able to easily see expense reports download and share with relevant staff members.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I highly recommend this product; it has been by far the most effective accounting software that I have used for non-profit accounting.
Easy Expense Management
What do you like best about the product?
Use Intacct for expense management and find it easy to navigate and use. The user interface is very intuitive and workflows can be customized.
What do you dislike about the product?
The look and feel can be improved to look more modern. Not sure if there is a mobile app. It would be great to have one

What do you like best about the product?
I love working with Rachel, she is very hands on and works extremely hard to make sure and questions I have or reports I need help with are complete. This was the first ERP at our company so the Sage Intacct team has been extremely helpful and continuously working with us to make sure the product fits our expectations.
What do you dislike about the product?
The report builder is a little tough to get the hang of at the beginning. Sage is working to add new features that we request and it's getting easier every day.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I think most of our problems stem from a high learning curve to use the software. I personally have not received a lot of training, so I have to spend a lot of time on my own playing around and working with Rachel to learn the software. But to emphasize the Sage team is doing an excellent job working with me and teaching me the system. I was just a bit behind on being invited to trainings.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Have multiple team members from different departments involved in the development.
Have used Sage Intacct for years!

AP module is easy to use and understand, very user friendly

Need to be able to send ACH remittances to more than one email address

We are able to pay most vendors by ACH, saving time and money
Review of Intacct from an Analyst
What do you like best about the product?
I like the simplicity of Intacct and how a lot of the modules communicate with one another pretty effectively. For example, you can set up a prepaid through the prepaid module, or through the AP bills module, which would feed into the prepaids module. Everything is fairly interconnected and easy to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
I do not like the report writer functionality of Intacct. If you are attempting to make a report from scratch, once you select your Primary data source, you are given a ton of options to choose from in terms of adding columns to the report. There is no search function to find these columns easier. I find that there are also too many (sometimes selecting one will result in a new drop-down menu with hundreds more).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are using Intacct as our primary accounting software for multiple Operating Companies. One of the key benefits to using Intacct is the fact that despite having multiple Operating Companies, you are able to set them all up under a single entity, and thus, run consolidation reports and gather consolidated financial data (considering FX changes). It is also very useful to show various types of reports OpCo by OpCo, or even on a consolidated basis. Some of these reports include TTM P&Ls, Budget-to-Actual reports, Balance Sheet variance reports, etc.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would recommend Intacct, especially if you have multiple Operating Companies and are looking for a solution to aid in consolidations. Multi-entity aside, Intacct is still a great accounting software to help you manage contracts, and set up financial reports.

What do you dislike about the product?
The developers could add shortcuts for jumping to timesheets, fill 40- button with duplicate timesheets, and other valuable bookmarks for no signing in using SSO could be an added advantage.

It keeps you up to date with your progress, and you can submit a timesheet and view reports.

Intacct has worked really well for my accounting needs for the programs I manage.
What do you like best about the product?
I like being able to jump between the different programs I manage and see things quickly and clearly.
What do you dislike about the product?
When we look at the invoices that are for the entire organization, it would be nice to be able to see them by program code

I think not needing to track all of my program's budgets in different spaces has been helpful.
