Intacct Review

What do you like best about the product?
The learning center is my favorite. The catalog of courses is significant, and the resources are beneficial. Intacct is also very user-friendly and easy to navigate.
What do you dislike about the product?
My least favorite aspect of Intacct is sometimes the report generator can be confusing - but most likely user error. Also, the inter-entity function is occasionally tricky to navigate.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The inclusion of month-end checklists and tasks was great last year! We can now coordinate the close within Intacct rather than tracking using external products.

What do you like best about the product?
Fairly easy to understand

What do you dislike about the product?
1) does not have all the features we understood it would have
2) reporting is very cumbersome, and we cant easily build our own reports
3) Not 100% suitable for the SA market e.g. VAT etc
4) Consolidations are not user friendly - we using an excel version again
5) budgets - don't consolidate etc
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
1) aim was to drive efficiencies - team are finding that the basics are taking longer to complete
2) reporting by dimensions makes things easier - see above challenges with reporting

Sage Intacct Makes Accounting for Multiple Entities Easier

What do you like best about the product?
We have multiple companies, and using Sage Intacct makes the intercompany experience simple
What do you dislike about the product?
The report writing is not the most intuitive
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The month end close process is easier thanks to the multi-entity processing

Sage Intacct is a great tool - find a good implementation partner and you are all set

What do you like best about the product?
It is fairly easy to use and manuever within the software.
What do you dislike about the product?
With any software, there are always some bugs that pop up every now and then or with new releases that are launched.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sage Intacct is used as our main financial source so we run all of our financial reports out of it.

User-friendly and continuously getting better!

What do you like best about the product?
I love that they are evolving and trying to make things easier and easier for the companies that use them. Very excited about vendor payments and invoice automation!
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like to be able to edit certain things even after something has been paid. I know we can do a reclass or journal entry, but making something 1099 through the invoice page would be great.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I create duplicate vendors by mistake, a pop-up when creating a new vendor that is similar to a current vendor would be great. The benefits are too numerous to name, but this is the best accounting software I have worked with.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I say go for it! Sage Intacct continues to get better and develop new services that companies might not even know they need. It is user-friendly and just does it all!

Easily Accessible and User Friendly

What do you like best about the product?
It was very easy to learn how to use Sage my first time using it. The tabs are clear and give you many different reports that you run. I like the option to be able to export the data into many different formats.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it can be confusing with the different areas of payment summaries and then have to add additional deposit information after you create a payment summary. I wish the client information were automatically in alphabetical format.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are able to run various aging reports for our sales representatives and give them a detailed layout of the clients but also a concise report that isn't displaying too much information.

What do you like best about the product?
Cloud access - help search features - intuitive view.
What do you dislike about the product?
The timing of receiving needed assistance - I have not found The Community to be helpful - the case submission process is timely.

Timely reporting.

What do you like best about the product?
We switched from QB Online to Intacct for intercompany transactions. It's great that the software auto generates the intercompany transactions, and you can set when to book reversals.
What do you dislike about the product?
The software itself is not very intuitive--not the prettiest interface or the most user-friendly. Verbiage and navigation can be odd. For reporting, you must go in on the backend and set up your own custom reports--EACH report is custom; there are no 'general' reports like P&L and balance sheet. Reports also don't sum (ex: Q1 P&L showing month-over-month comparison with a total of Q1).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Intercompany transactions! QB Online was too manual, and with over 12 different entities, each in different states, it was too time consuming to create all of these entries by hand. I do like automatic journal entry reversals since they are easy to set (month end/beginning of month)...one less thing for me to forget!
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Sage Intacct can be a powerful tool for your accounting needs, but it's not the most user-friendly. With the amount of softwares around, it might make my short list, but I feel like there could be another software out there that is just as robust and provides a better user experience.

What do you like best about the product?
How user-friendly the software is. I've had the opportunity to use this software for several years, and I have loved every minute of it. For a brief time, I transitioned to a position that used different software, but I am thrilled to be back now as a partner.
What do you dislike about the product?
Honestly, there isn't much that I dislike about the software.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The problem of paper. Sage Intacct has made processes so much quicker and easier to manage.

What do you like best about the product?
I like being able to post intercompany entries in real time. Previously in AccPacc we had to wait for an overnight process to post these. I also think the interface is much more user friendly and modern. Running financial reports are much easier and being able to edit journal entries is very useful.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only things that routinely impact me are prepaid schedules getting caught in the prepaid module due to workflow issues and journal entry imports erroring out.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have figured out ways to post the prepaid schedules that get caught up in the system by changing them to "error" state and consulting with intacct support. Our business performance has increased by the journal entries posting much faster, allowing for less waiting time between tasks.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you do not currently have a software that posts intercompany in real time, this will save you alot of time. It also helps if you have significant prepaid expenses and fixed assets. It feels like a very modern software system. Being able to access on internet browser instead of desktop application is also nice.
