Sage Intacct Review
What do you like best about the product?
Intacct is a full accounting solution for any Company. It contains all the modules and tools which are needed to prepare the FS. It also has the functionalities to enable controls, to ensure the segregation of duties.
What do you dislike about the product?
The dashboard functionalities are not good. They are not user friendly and formatting the dashboard is a pain. Given dashboards are key for management, I would think there was more focus given to this peice.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's a full accounting tool for us, hence, we use it for all our accounting needs (i.e. period-end). It has API capabilities with many other softwares (i.e. bank/stripe), which is good.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Good accounting software but is not the most user-friendly.

The best part of this software is the accessibility and editable features

Ther are not many problems, there is only the occasional long loading speeds for specific reports.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
WE are able to accurately see all our financials which helps us create many financial reports and analyze our financial potential

Sage is a simple tool to use for tracking my billable client hours & PTO
What do you like best about the product?
I only use the Timesheet. I like that all of my billable client options are listed in the drop-down menus & it totals my hours for me. I've used a similar tool for a previous employee and it worked the same.
What do you dislike about the product?
I can "duplicate" a timesheet from the previous pay period, but I cannot save a blank template with all of my client options from month to month. If a time entry isn't made in a customer/project line, it deletes that line when I duplicate the timesheet.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I don't have any problems that I'm solving. It's a great tool for tracking my time for billable client hours for my company. My productivity could increase if I could duplicate a timesheet with all of my client options permanently built.
Very flexible
What do you like best about the product?
Custom reports and dashboards make it more efficient to get my work done without spending a lot of time doing things repetitively. The flexibility of items is very helpful.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of our entities are small and simple and it seems like Intacct is too big and complex for them. When importing transactions, the error codes are not very helpful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We can handle billing, banking and investment transactions and run both custom and standardized reports easily and efficiently. Automation and efficiency are achievable.

What do you like best about the product?
Useability! I think sage works across the board and can be dialed in for an even better/more particular application. The ability to create and customize reports is also a great feature.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think there are a lot of specific nuances that can create some issues and speed-bumps for those not familiar with it. I don't find it as generally user-friendly as a QuickBooks, but I do understand Intacct is a much higher level running software than a run-of-the-mill basic QB. I suggest going in the training center, training, and utilizing youtube.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have found a better, smoother running AP process. We still do a lot of importing with our clients, and we love how simple it is to use the import function. We also like the dashboards for our client's eyes.
A great ERP Solution and a Game changer.
What do you like best about the product?
We loved Intacct from the moment it was incepted into our organization as the primary financial management tool. We use it to generate financial reports with ease. Intacct is a very incredible financial software, robustly performing cross-dimensional analytics. The modules are customizable, fitting with our business setup. I like how efficiently it generates payrolls and allows us to upload accounting data.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would say more improvements could be made on finance tracking. This makes it less efficient in financial forecasting. There are also limitations on the kind of data you can upload, and also adding notes is an uphill task. Otherwise, Intacct is on the right track.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It has empowered us to customize our primary financial management tool to fit our business structure, which is a big win. The high level of transparency in Intacct has saved us from several financial losses. It also is a critical element in business forecasts.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
We have used Sage Intacct for two years, and it has constantly proven to be the best financial management tool there is in the market. I would recommend all business setups to embrace this powerful software.
A easy and understandable system for efficient work.
What do you like best about the product?
The layout and design for easy access to reports and data support a smooth billing process. I use the favorites feature and report center often. Best system I've come across.
What do you dislike about the product?
I'm not fond of the current inability to combine invoices and attachments in system-sent emails. Also, the import function would be better if a tracking system allowed for multiple entries.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I realized the benefit of having a system that keeps centralized records of billing and payments. As well as the direct contection between efficiency and process.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Take the time to learn and get accustomed to the system, as it is unique. Taking the time to learn the shortcuts built into the directory will save you time and money.
Sage is easy to use, intuitive and provides all of the reporting capabilities needed.

Add-on packages can be expensive, which can defer you from purchasing them.

Great software - even better for the best businesses
What do you like best about the product?
Clean cut, to the point. Sage Intacct is great - the interface is what you'd expect and hope for. Outstanding productivity, we use it for time entries and expenses mostly.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is not much to not like about Sage Intacct. As previously stated, it's an above-average program that I thoroughly recommend.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The problems that we are solving was initially bad stability on our previous program, along with ease of use and easier reporting.

What do you like best about the product?
The availability of the payroll and other payments module is the feature that I like most in this software. It can be easily customized to meet any requirement in our business. Sage software has all the core modules required for the company's day-to-day running.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have nothing to dislike about Sage accounting software. It works perfectly for us.

The business needs to address and control Inventory manage and sort out various payments on time and in an accountable manner.

Sage is accounting software that has various powerful & functional modules, such as sales, inventory management, payments, and other core modules. It is easy and quick to set up. It has met our business requirements, and hence it's an excellent software.
