What do you dislike about the product?
Can be clunky and notbuser friendly in not a seasoned user.
It is very difficult to rectify the error as this software makes it difficult to go back and change the number.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
There are few modules such as prepaids,fixed assets anf purchasing that we had purchased after the initial implementation of intacct that did not work very well initially.There were many work account and technical problems that created alot of unneeded headache s and works.Fortunately in my organization this has been very well fixed now for the most parts and works.
Sage Intacct
What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use, depth of functionality in many areas, speed of implementation, integration, available marketplace add-on products already integrated. Really good for multi-entity environment, professional services, software, healthcare.
What do you dislike about the product?
Basic reporting is a little weak, although that is typical for most ERP systems. The advanced reporting is good, but requires additional cost. Per user cost is expensive.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are a technology services firm, so we use Sage Intacct for project tracking and time entry. It's good to have visibility to project costs and budget in real time. It's very easy to view project status and generate invoices for projects as well. The results are projects that stay on budget or awareness of the overage sooner and faster invoicing resulting in better cash flow.
Easy to get proficient, hard to become an expert.
What do you like best about the product?
Sage Intacct has an intuitive interface that makes it very easy to get new users on board and active within the software. We have found so far in our experience that it is very quick to get new users effectively using the software in a short period of time.
What do you dislike about the product?
Customer support is tricky. It feels like the software attempts to "nickel and dime" you with every additional feature/task requiring fees or compensation. There are also a lot of the functionality that requires refinement and revamping (i.e. allocations, flat file uploads).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are still working through the process of solivng our issues. Financially, the G/L package compares favorably with most G/L packages available for small and middle sized companies.
Comprehensive system
What do you like best about the product?
Dimensions are nice for slicing information in different ways.
What do you dislike about the product?
It takes a lot of time and energy to set up reporting the way you need it, especially if you have complex consolidations and reporting requirements. It would be nice to see easier access to filtering the chart of accounts. It would also be nice if there was a more robust AP automation feature.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Dashboard reporting shows up to date information quickly. The project module has led to better tracking of federal and state grants.
Love Sage and Sage Transform was incredible!!!!

The ease of accounting! Also, Sage Transform was an incredible chance to learn about the product.

I wouldn't say I like that I did not get to stay longer at Sage Transform.

What do you like best about the product?
General Ledger and reporting with multiple entities. Implement an approval process for purchasing. Reduce paperwork by using attachments, and utilize a third-party budgeting tool that integrates seamlessly.
What do you dislike about the product?
To create a sales order, you must have a business license, and to create a purchase order, you only need an employee license, even though the processes are similar.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
While we appreciate the bank reconciliation process, we are addressing some challenges with the new bank reconciliation process. Going paperless has resulted in significant savings. Using attachments to the documents allows for quicker viewing of items.

I felt we could do all the implementation, set up and integration without involving the Sage team but we had to involve them because its their rule

What do you like best about the product?
Intacct let you keep it simple in managing accounts since you only need to set up your primary account code.It helps to track your business, once you create a dimension you can us it for any transaction eg. payables,time,fixed assets and as the business change you can add the dimension you need to easily track the business projects.
What do you dislike about the product?
intact's user interface is not that user-friendly and can be overwhelming for bigginers.Uploading is so difficult.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Spending much time on entering data and processing spreadsheets meaning less time to analyse important data.Reports running directly from financial systemare easier to share,read and use.we found it easier to track all expenses and revenue related to projects. We don't need to track down missing data,all the data is available on dashboard ready to be acted upon.
