Great system, even if the UX is limiting
What do you like best about the product?
Sage does everything I would ever need from a timesheet and reporting stand point. It provides key functionality in a simplistic formatic and is more or less easy to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
The functionality is all there, but it's not the prettiest UX.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I can submit my timesheets with ease, and the system ensures I do not spend all day trying to submit my timecard.
Easy, Simple, Straight-Forward software to help track Accounting
What do you like best about the product?
It's straightforward to enter in a timesheet + expense information. In the past, at times, it's been hard to find that information, but they're both near either other, so they're relatively simple. I've learned how to use the product to the best of my ability for my current company, so I know where things are, but if you'd told me "find these" on my own, it might have taken me longer, but still compared to other products out there it's easier.
What do you dislike about the product?
Applications should maybe list on the top right instead of Entities; I've never had to use entities myself, and the only things I'm looking for as an employee are timesheets + expenses. Maybe making a way to alter what goes where or customize view for different users would help me get to where I need to in fewer clicks or time. Another thing that I don't totally love about the platform is at times it can be very confusing due to the add feature under the expenses portion since the page can be confusing and wonky formatting at times.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Problems I'm solving include being able to expense things to my company whenever I purchase something outside of using a company card. This is really beneficial because I'm able to drill down into any preset that my company has set for me, making it easier to customize what kind of expense or payment I need. Another benefit that I've been able to realize is the ease of submitting to a manager, sometimes documentation gets lost but with Sage Intaact I've been able to easily attach documents to exepenses and have them be easily tracked.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you're looking into using Sage Intacct, I highly recommend it! There are tons of options where you can personalize so much different data; the more you personalize, the more it can be helpful to you. Non-dependent upon company size, I believe that whatever the use case, as long as you make enough fields and options, you're setting yourself up for success on the platform. My only absolute recommendation would be to stay as organized as possible to ensure better flow for you and your employees.
Easy to use and keeps everything organized
What do you like best about the product?
I like that receipts are easy to uplaod. The pre selected drop downs are great in being able to find the expense codes.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have had some issues with naming the receipts in some fields you can only name something once so other expenses with the same name have to be slightly changed
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are able to allow individual employee's to submit their expenses from remote locations
User friendly for sure!

The UI is very intuitive and user friendly

There are times where the reports are almost too heavy and data-filled from the start.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our AP was run through there and has been beneficial, and the reporting you can build has made life much easier!
Best for Entry and Mid level Organisation
What do you like best about the product?
Interface and Ease of use. It is very user-friendly too.
What do you dislike about the product?
Lag in the system. Prolonged Refresh rate and take ages to get the reports if the data is significant.

I use it to get customized reports for the management and to get the monthly financials for the company.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you are looking for the best bucks for the money, then look no further. Sage Intact is the best software for Intermediate users. It is software that is very easy to use and can give you customized reports.
Sage Intacct review for small business
What do you like best about the product?
Sage is very easy to learn and intuitive to use. GL Accounts are easy to manage and adjust as needed.
What do you dislike about the product?
The budget creation process is a little buggy if you don't get the fields lined up perfectly. This also can create issues when using the year end wizard to end a fiscal year and create a new one.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Its a solid accounting system for Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Bank Reconciliations, Adjusting Journal Entries and Financial Reporting

What do you like best about the product?
The report center contains a great set of standard reports. Customizing reports is pretty straightforward.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think the prepaid module could be a little more user-friendly.

I use Intacct to provide upper management with variance analysis.
Great Intuitive all in one Solution!
What do you like best about the product?
A very robust solution that has really helped us eliminate the need for complicated spreadsheets, Comprehensive Reporting, Multidimensional coding which allows for maximum customization and analytics, Many 3rd party API's and integrations making data configuration from one platform to another more streamlined. We consider Intacct to be our all-in-one nucleus of data and source of truth that is not only robust and comprehensive but also allows all of our financial and statistical data to flow into, in order to always have a clear picture holistically of where we are as an organization.
What do you dislike about the product?
We are a complex non-profit organization utilizing many different softwares for our needs and some of the third-party platforms we use such as Concur for invoicing and expense management due to the OCR technology and approval workflows are a necessity for us. However, this makes data mapping very complex and costly depending on the software and not all 3rd parties are able to streamline mapping as well as others both capability and cost-wise. Intacct is also a costly solution however depending on your unique ROI it can be justifiable.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Elimination of complex spreadsheets, On-demand reporting, scheduled reporting, seamless integration with budget management software in real-time, ability to create complex tags by projects, departments, locations, restrictions and entities which is a must for many non-profits. The ability to also generate, save, and email any report directly from the platform is also key for our organization.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Be patient during integration it will take time to get your environment functioning in accordance with complex needs however once it is you will certainly not be disappointed! If possible consider using another party to help facilitate such as AcctTwo which helped in our case tremendously, streamlining communication, and customizing our platform set up with a dedicated integration specialist who was with us for the entirety of the integration and beyond.

SaaS and contract reporting, reporting with the use of custom fields, reporting pro-forma results with management adjustments

1. Building employee-specific commission reports based on transactions in Intacct as per custom requirement is limited and can be improved.
2.Taking time to edit the entry if it has multiple GL's. The loading speed can be improved for a better experience.
