What do you like best about the product?
good structure for software, easy to navigate.
What do you dislike about the product?
Logging in is too hard and takes too long. After entering password, remember device, send text code ect.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
solving a documented expense procedure.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Im unsure cost per user, but Sage seems worth it. Lots of documentation

What do you like best about the product?
Sage Intacct has so many different functions to use, and reports to run to help better your business and services such as: Acconts Payables, Accounts Receivables, General Ledgers, and so much more! I quickly mastered the swiftness of the interface. You can use Intacct for many different projects easily separated in Intacct. I like how Journal Entries are so easy to keep up with. I came into my current position with little to no journal entry experience and not even a week into working in Intacct I feel confident about knowing all about journal entries. Intact has truly made coming into a new job easier!
What do you dislike about the product?
There is not much to dislike about Sage Intacct! Competitors should watch their backs when it comes to user friendly accounting and financial services systems! I will say it was intemmidating at first to go into Intact and see the vast amount of tools to use. Little did I know how useful these tools would be on a daily basis.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am solving variances in the already determined budgets on projects. The benefits are that these reports are easy to access and fast to use. Keeping a balanced bank account comes easy with the built in bank reconsiliation tools. Setting up vendor accounts is a breeze, and Intacct helps make it easy to organize these vendors by allowing you to customize each vendor with their own unique vendor ID numbers. Paying bills is also an easier task than every before with just a couple clicks you'll never have past due invoices ever again!
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would recommend that you take your time to familiarize yourself with the layout of Sage Intacct's Dashboard. This will help you best navigate through all the tools faster when needing to use them on a daily basis. And if you ever have questions to ask for help at the help center.

What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use, user-friendly, and the different tabs. I enjoy using the Cash Management, Accounts receivable, and Account Payables tabs. Intacct is much more user-friendly than many other competitors platforms.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find the reporting tab to be overly convoluted. It's hard to use and eve though the reports do offer a lot of changeability, it is not easy to use. I wish there were ways that we could learn about parts are the software that we wouldn't typically use. Parts of the software I feel I am using backwards and spending more time than is neede don since I was never trained by a trained professional on the carious items across the software. I checked the website for trainings, but it wasn't very clear there either on wht trainings would cost money what trainings I specifically need for implement and train more employees the software.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payment, Bank Reconciliations, Trial Balances and General Ledgers. Invoices are received from vendors, client, lenders – this initiates the transaction. Radian enters the approved invoice into Intacct. This initiates the transaction, it is recorded in Intacct (system) AR Module. JEs are posted monthly and quarterly for items like PPD amortization, depreciation, accruals, etc. These entries are supported by schedules maintained by Radian. During the close process, these JEs are entered by the preparer and reviewed by the reviewer before they are posted to the ledger.

What do you like best about the product?
the reports have been very useful and it's very user-friendly
What do you dislike about the product?
i've had some issues syncing bill.com where credits were incorrectly applied to the wrong project location
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We had a very large Goldman Sachs entity with 120 locations, and Sage was very useful to stay organized.

What do you like best about the product?
The way you can manipulate reports makes it great for pulling data. The AP and AR modules are relatively easy to use and understand. Nothing takes multiple steps to get to what you are looking for and all really well laid out.
What do you dislike about the product?
Could add more features to the GL to manipulate reports, show more detail than debits/credits, especially if wanting to compare 2 Locations. Could have Debits and Credits for each location shown as a summary, instead of exporting 2 excel files to compare.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Completing our process of asset management for Solar Energy. Able to easily track expenses occured, production that is produced and AP/AR.

What do you like best about the product?
so robust and powerful! great GL software. has lots of modules you can add on like pre paid, fixed assets, and it syncs with adp for payroll
What do you dislike about the product?
you have to learn the sage intacct "language" to build reports and really use it. steep learning curve, the community forums are not as robust as QB so you have to pay for customer service whereas in QB you could find answers faster and cheaper
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This allowed a move to the cloud. We were using Quickbooks desktop which was too limited. This has multi user, multi entity access, and you can create your own reports and dashboards. It also syncs with our AP and budgeting providers which is critical.

What do you like best about the product?
I like the dimension aspect of the package. Also, we are looking into Sage People, which would make our HR much easier to manage.
What do you dislike about the product?
The creating reports function is very clunky and confusing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We were able to solve our inability to look into precisely what we were spending money on due to creating a new account for every unique account line.

What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use and report creation. The ability to favorite reports and create dashboards.
What do you dislike about the product?
The inability for real time reporting of timesheets. The lack to edit dimensionality of reports within standard reports or to save the view.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are utilizing intacct to understand the performance of our operations group in a professional services setting. The main benefit is the normalization of tracking and reporting across 4 merged businesses.

What do you like best about the product?
The general ledger is great to work in. There is the option to include many "dimensions" along with your general ledger debits and credits. It's also easy to edit or delete entries if needed and to reopen a closed period if needed though you need to be careful with that option. You can also set permissions fairly easily (once you know the system well enough to do this - it's kind of hard at first).
What do you dislike about the product?
Cash management and accounts payable modules. They have been rather difficult for us as we have five different but interrelated companies. Very hard to "easily" fix things in these modules, making reconciliations difficult at times. We still have an open issue from inception that although does not impact our financial statements, it is showing $1.9 million as a debit and offsetting credit in one of our companies accounts payable ledgers. Our consultants were never able to figure out how to fix it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being able to download GL data from Intacct has become much easier. We had Sage Timberline previously and the downloads were very difficult and time consuming to do, sometimes needing the aid of a data mining software like Monarch. We just brought our last company live in May 2021. Once I am sure things are ironed out (issues), the next thing will be to set up dashboards, stats, budgets, and hopefully being able to utilize these pieces to better explain financial performance to our board of directors.
