Easy and straight-forward timesheet service
What do you like best about the product?
I find that the interface is really intuitive and easy to use. It's a no frills system and it's simplicity makes creating and reviewing time sheets quite effortless. I've rarely had problems with entering my time sheets. The onboarding process was also easy-- I received a simple tutorial document from my company and set up my account without any problems. I also appreciate that the email reminders are not too many, but not too little in frequency. I've never missed my timesheet submission and would have to honestly attribute that to the "gentle" reminder emails.
As a marketing consultant, we're asked to track our hours and it's details quite accurately as this is how we get billed. The interface makes it easy for me to track my project times in an organized manner. I've used systems before where keeping track of different projects was hard.

What do you dislike about the product?
I think having more support resources would be helpful. There have been times where I've received error messages with my timesheets and finding a quick answer was not as easy as I'd like it to be.
The support center is essentially an online community. For the most part, it's helpful in finding information. However, it's hard to navigate and find the exact answer I'm looking for. The organization of the information could be more intuitive.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sage intacct essentially helps me track and submit my timesheets to my manager. The main benefit here is that it reduces any extra manual communication threads. Everything gets tracked, submitted, and reviewed via the system.
Intuitive Accountings Program
What do you like best about the product?
Sage has an intuitive and easy to use program. I'm constantly discovering new feature that make my work easier and more detailed.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there were more approvals in order to double check items before they are approved.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are able to print more easily out of many banks. It's a great system for that.
Great way to track Inventory
What do you like best about the product?
I like being in control of what I see and being able to customize to my liking. This makes inventory control a breeze when you can type in a part number and pull up every single warehouse that has that part number attached to it. You can also create a single inventory control transaction and include changes to all warehouses instead of manually doing each of them individually. I love being able to backtrack and look at an item history by typing in the item and clicking on the part number. It's super convenient when you want to find out the history of an item and find out when something was changed including the quantity and the date for that particular item.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are some glitches sometimes with inventory when exporting from Service Titan to Intacct. This may be a Service Titan or a server issue when exporting from Service Titan to Intacct. I find that when part numbers are set up on Service Titan and Intacct, once the first export happens, this creates a duplicate part number that has a " - I" next to it. I find myself having to keep the one with " - I" (because it contains the URL linking it to Service Titan) and then making sure the duplicate doesn't have a quantity in it before deactivating it. Sometimes this can be tedious, especially if you carry a wide variety of parts and multiple warehouses; But nonetheless this is the only major problem I have really encountered.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I can resolve inventory issues in every warehouse and reconcile with what's on Service Titan. This is a huge deal for me because as an Analyst, I have to make sure all of the quantities match three different ways: physically, in Service Titan, and in Intacct.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Give it a shot, it's easy to navigate and very user friendly. Way easier than a paper trail with all the information being right in front of you and giving you full control on how you view everything.

What do you like best about the product?
I like the ability to customize Intacct to best fit our teams needs. It seems like a product to suit a wide variety of needs.
What do you dislike about the product?
Intacct is pretty robust and not the most intuitive. It takes a while to get the hang of.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Intacct for order processing and invoicing. We also use some of the integrations that it offers, which is proving to be very valuable.
User Friendly
What do you like best about the product?
Coming from an ancient data system to Sage. I noticed how user-friendly the system is. I use the Accounts payable section every day and honestly, it's so easy and clean to use. I like how I can enter more details in the memo part and being able to record credit card payments.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't hate the system at all. I think over time, I'm hoping for our company to be fully integrated into Sage. I think that would be helpful to see Sage in its full potential.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sage helped us out tremendously on our side. Going from an ancient platform to a modern ERP, has made our work a lot easier. The reports themselves are awesome, it's so easy to export them in pdf or excel.
Enjoy the product
What do you like best about the product?
Easily access data and filter based on multiple criteria. Makes financial reporting and accounting edits seamless and useful. The best capabilities pertain to revenue reporting. We are able to easily report on different types of customer revenue.
What do you dislike about the product?
Main issues lie in data export size limitations. The interface can be slow when trying to run large reports. We often have issues exporting directly to excel and usually have to export to .csv files before converting those files to .xls. Another issue is the level of revenue detail. We have had difficulty reporting revenue in detail vs at the broader customer level.

Financial reporting has become much more efficient. The platform allows the accounts payable, accounts receivable, accounting, and financial, planning & analysis teams to easily work together to achieve successful reporting results.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Useful for most accounting and finance needs. Some shortcomings when it comes to downloading lots of data at one time or creating large reports with large amounts of data. I would highly recommend the platform to any company that needs to integrate their accounts payable, accounts receivable, accounting, and financial, planning & analysis teams to easily work together to achieve successful reporting results. I am not as familiar with other platforms, but according to my colleagues who have previously used other products they seem to be very happy with the transition to Intacct.
It was a little bit of a learning curve but I am enjoying using it now.
What do you like best about the product?
I like how things can be customizable and the processes are easy to use. I also like the layout and how the files are able to export to excel. Another great feature that I use a lot of the excel upload templates, where I can put in data and it will automatically upload the invoices. It makes things go much faster. Even though I had reconciled some bank statements we were also able to go back and reverse them easily. It made me feel at ease if i were to make mistakes.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think it can be difficult to learn at first and it takes some trial and error. It helps to have a guide walk you through it and learn about the possibilities. We had to go to a consultant a few times to learn more. Also, I'd like to know what other people have been using to automate functions of there job in Sage so i could possibly apply that too.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are able to make great reports to use to our own data and excel models. The Bank recss are pretty easy once you get the hang of it.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I recommend having someone walk you through it and show a lot of what can be down. It helps to really see all the possibilities that can used. Look at what processes you think can be automated and see if Sage can do that. It really helps cut down time.
Transition from QuickBooks to Sage Was Easy and Worth It!
What do you like best about the product?
The interface is very organized and clean. The auto-fill system is also very handy. I find it easy to enter a large number of invoices through the "restore from last bill" function, and I can quickly go back into drafts to see if I made any errors. On top of that, the error detection system works wonders for long periods of data entry. Finding invoices through the database is simple with their comprehensive database function.
What do you dislike about the product?
One thing I would like to have an option within Sage Intacct is the ability to disable certain auto changes, such as GL posting dates automatically changing when you do not want it to. It would be good to have an option within the bill entry screen to enable/disable when needed.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sage Intacct helped me correct errors in invoices and ensured accuracy with data entry. I use Sage to reconcile accounts, and I find the process a lot more intuitive than with QuickBooks, the program we recently switched from at the company. Another benefit is the overdue and duplicate bill tracking system, giving us quick notice of issues and solving them with ease.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It was a simple and easy transition from QuickBooks. I strongly recommend, and I do not see myself going back soon! The price was well worth it!
Intuitive User Friendly Experience
What do you like best about the product?
We have been using Sage Intacct since the company's inception. I love the ease of use. It is a very simple program to learn. I have been pleasantly surprised with the support system that is in place. On the rare occasion that we have needed support, the support staff have been friendly and helpful
What do you dislike about the product?
Honestly the only thing that I dislike is having to reenter and change passwords on a semiregular basis. I understand the necessity so it's more nitpicky than anything else.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Streamlining purchases and approvals is the main problem Intacct has solved for us. We have the ability to enter purchases, submit purchases, and approve all at a few clicks. Without Intacct, I would have to schedule additional time to meet with my secretaries to go over purchase orders on a daily basis. As a school principal, that would eat into my time with my teachers and students. I have been able to review and approve purchases on my phone outside of my office. A convenience I have used quite often.
