User Friendly
What do you like best about the product?
I really appreciate the ability to utilize imports for the data rather than manually entering individual bills or credit card charges. It is incredibly helpful to have a built-in approval process for posting journal entries, bill payments, and other processes. It ensures that any mistakes are easily discovered before they are posted to the system. The checks and balances is very helpful for onboarding and training new employees in the system.
What do you dislike about the product?
The reporting features are not as detailed or as easy as I'm used to with QuickBooks. Additionally, I find that I have a more difficult time editing or changing transactions after they've been posted in the system. However, I believe that as I grow more accustomed to the software, I will understand more of the processes and pathways.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Intacct is very helpful in balancing the books at the end of each month. The biggest benefit has been its compatibility with our other systems, making daily processes easier. ACH, EFTs, check printing, and payroll data entry are all incredibly quick and easy thanks to Intacct. We've also been able to clean up our W9 and 1099 processes with our ability to upload documents and create folders. The organization has enabled us to rely less on paper and digitize our systems.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Intacct is wonderful for larger companies with a considerable amount of financial transactions. You should definitely consider it if you'd like to link the software to other products you use for banking or bill pay and streamline your processes.

The reports are really helpful. They show what is going on in a clear way.
What do you dislike about the product?
That you have to keep logging in every few hours.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
solving having things left unpaid, because it clearly shows what you paid and what you didn't - and it shows how and when.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
They should invest in Intacct as it will be a huge benefit to them in the long term.

What do you like best about the product?
Timesheet can be filled from by duplicating previous weeks timesheets

interface could be better for Expensesheets. Attaching document is bit confusing . can be made better.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Easy to keep track of hours for team they put in for each project and can help to itemize project cost east to calculate.

Great platform to keep track of resources and project expenses
Excellent "written for the web" accounting software
What do you like best about the product?
Multi-dimensional accounting system written for the web. Has a great user interface and excellent reporting capabilities. Importing and exporting to XL from just about any screen. Lots of great "add ins" such as EFT manager and Allocations. Recurring journals, prepayments and fixed assets all improve accounts teams efficiency.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some "core" features come at an extra cost (eg the newly released custom report writer).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Multi-company, multi-dimension accounting system. Moving from a poor accounting system to a fully functioning one. Streamlined the accounts function and reduced headcount.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
High value, quick to implement software. Make sure you spend time designing a good chart of accounts and understanding which dimensions you want to report on and which accounts you want to make these dimensions mandatory.
This program helped us move from paper to electronic which will eventually speed up the process.

You can't lose track of important documents, and have a trail of information.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is not a lot of communication that can help such as why something was disapproved and what next steps need to be to correct it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The terms and processes are different from our current system, so it is taking some adjusting to. It is also hard to find things. The benefit is having all documents together and status is clear.

What do you like best about the product?
The format of each module helps for quicker access.
What do you dislike about the product?
The processing time its one of the weakness of the program.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Building reports has become easier with Sage. It saves time when a new report is requested.

What do you like best about the product?
Since this is an EXTREME change from our old Blackbaud Financial Edge software, everything is new and different. Our set team, particularly Stephen, was very exceptional in helping us get what we really needed from our financial software. For me, it's still new with lots to learn.
What do you dislike about the product?
When entering a new Vendor in AP, Last name, First name to get them in Alpha order, BUT when it comes to Print Name - it is still Last name, First name and needs to be corrected. That is frustrating and there should be a way to have it swap them around.
I used to have benefit when entering new AP invoices seeing prior invoices at the same time. This made it great for consistency in Memo entries. Also to make sure the coding is consistence. A bit more cumbersome to see previous entries here.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Reporting was a big issue for us. The upper Finance Team is thrilled with what they are able to achieve with Sage reports. I feel I'm still on the up side of the learning curve and slowly finding benefits as I go. Some time saving and some not so much. As noted above this is a vastly different system.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
They actually deliver what they tell you they will. Very easy to work with the implementation team. Stephen was wonderful - patient and very understanding. He LISTENS to what you say/need and makes it happen

When we go to TimeSheet & Expenses>My Timesheets, the landing page is very clumsy with all previous timesheets.
