Second Implementation
What do you like best about the product?
Dashboards, realtime reporting, integrations. user friendly

Downside is character limits, I wish they were longer.

Intacct is a versatile platform if you have the time and resources to configure it properly.
What do you like best about the product?
The platform continues to become easier to use with each and every update. Key features I've enjoyed and appreciated are the following: sorting through pending tasks, establishing workflows with various stakeholders, and a very robust audit trail. Varying user access and permissions via groups is great. While I'm not responsible for creating custom variables and workflows, they appear to be flexible and have the ability to really save our staff time.
What do you dislike about the product?
Unable to automate certain things without some external tools, plugins, or developing web-hook tools, namely disabling a user's account when they are offboarding automatically on their last day of employment. Being unable to update a username to respect a preferred name or surname is a bit archaic and disrespectful. Establishing templates for user accounts would save a lot of time to get new users the permissions they need immediately.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
My use case in Sage Intacct does not really address or solve any problems. In my role I primarily utilize the platform for understanding how much time off is available to me, my timesheets, however the organization relies on the systems within Intacct to handle invoicing, payments, and all accounting needs. As an IT admin, I simply create new user accounts and disabled outgoing staff accounts within the platform, not any actual accounting.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
The learning curve to getting familiar can be steep, as it's functions and use case are very much determined by a user's role and department. Once you understand the Sage Intacct environment, it's pretty easy to complete your specific tasks quickly, however navigating to new or unfamiliar functions of Intacct often requires additional training or time.
Take your time to understand how to navigate between the different menus and be sure to "star" your most heavily used items so you can quickly get to what you need.
I'd also like to point out that our instance of Intacct, and I'm sure most, require you to fill in three different fields to sign in, all of which are case sensitive. Due to the sign in being three different fields, saving your password may not always work, or may experience issues whenever you opt to update your password. If your organization utilizes Single Sign On (SSO) you won't experience this issue as often.

There are some many ways to import and export data which allows you to get the most accurate data.

Some more searching features would be nice.

What do you like best about the product?
Sage Intacct is an effective cloud-based solution.

It's not as user-friendly as I would have expected.

Users can access the system from anywhere to review and approve payment requisitions and move forward with processing.

It's a comprehensive financial solution.
Intacct Review
What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use, summary information, reports are easy to get to.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the pop-out windows do not scale as nicely as they could.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Managing my time has been the best tool for me. I can see requests summarized as well and receive notifications reminding me of pending actions. Communicating requests and approvals with my supervisor is also very easy.
Performance and usability all in one
What do you like best about the product?
The flexibility of the platform really helps me perform all essential parts of my job, I am able to create accounts, reset passwords, configure roles, customize access, and even complete Personnel notification tasks. I love how simple it seems to be able to create new modules, and permissions for users. It's used by the majority of my organization, and most of which are incredibly happy about it.
What do you dislike about the product?
Aesthetically not the most pleasing, could use a more modern design. Rounded buttons would make it more appealing, along with other User Interface customization. The site sometimes loads slower than I'd like; but uptime has been very reliable as well.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The benefit I've realized the most is the powerful functions already baked in, with lots of customization possible. Personnel notifications, password resets, and purchasing are problems that Sage Intacct has helped us solve.

Definitely check this product out and give it a fair chance.
Great System for Non-profits
What do you like best about the product?
I been using Sage Intacct for over 5 years now, and it has been essential for grant/ restriction tracking.
What do you dislike about the product?
In some modules you can reclassify transactions, but not with credit card activity or items that go to undeposited funds
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Gathering approvals from manager, specially now that a lot people are working remotely. Also managing restrictions in our revenue side of things.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
The implementation is key. We were able to work with an implementation team that was able to guide us to set a great flow for processing
Sage Intacct has been a wonderful addition to understanding our financial position for the org.

The Purchasing system makes it easier with spend management for users to see the impact of their spending. AR is able to be fully incorporated into the financials without using outside system.
What do you dislike about the product?
That i cannot import invoices as paid into AR system.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
keeping reporting easier, paying and viewing current balances live.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
That there are some manual processes with AR, but it improves your ease of use, but would be nice to have an additional filter added on the years.

I like that I have real time financial data at all times

Support is not as quick as I would like.

Employees are able to see their budget to actual and track their spending.
