If you are ready for the Cloud, then Sage Intacct is a great way to go.
What do you like best about the product?
The core program is very robust, A/P, A/R, G/L, cash management modules work well together.
What do you dislike about the product?
You cannot set-up your A/P approvals by location or entity, but rather by department. This makes no sense if you have common departments among multiple locations.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have over 30 entities, and if you have many inter-company transactions, Sage Intacct is very helpful for consolidations

Start by implementing the basic core package first, then add additional modules as needed one at a time.
A detailed and efficient ERP
What do you like best about the product?
Flexibility and mobility are some of the positive highlights of Sage Intacct, as cloud-hosted software is no longer tied to a local server computer, we can operate Sage Intacct from anywhere, even from a tablet or smartphone, whatever. that will be necessary will be an internet connection and that's it, even if you are within kilometers of the office you will be able to operate on sage intacct this is something that besides being very useful.
What do you dislike about the product?
The design of some modules is lacking, they have a lot of information on the screen that only makes viewing and understanding what is more difficult, an example of this is the registration of accounts that would look much better with a cleaner layout.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sage Intacct became our main ERP program, the choice for it was made after some research that showed it better fit what we were looking for, we needed a tool that would solve 2 big problems for us: invoice recognition and revenue, fortunately Sage Intacct has met both of these goals and has also helped us in many others such as capturing information and data as well as rich and detailed reports that help with important decision making.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Sage Intacct is suitable for companies and entities that like to know every detail because that's exactly what it does well, it provides line-by-line details of all transactions that take place, plus another strong point of sage is its advanced information-rich reporting, So if your company is looking for a detailed ERP, Sage Intacct is one of the best options available.

Much to be desired out of the box
What do you like best about the product?
Cloud-based platform makes updates and access easy. Attractive to look at. Can be customizable in your preferences. Help on each page can direct you to troubleshooting tools quickly.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike that some of the best features are only available as expensive add-ons. For a nonprofit, our budget is really tight, so we have to opt for time consuming work arounds to do things that could be quick an easy if we purchased more modules.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Allowing employees from other departments to run their own reports. Easier to prepare financial statements
Great Account Software
What do you like best about the product?
Ability to build out customized financial reports and pull information from "Top Level" to see multiple entities compared. Able to share budgets with employees responsible. Ability to close much quicker than any other software. It is very user friendly.
What do you dislike about the product?
Expensive when adding multiple users to the software, but worth it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have cut down our month-end process by 2 days each month from automated systems. We are able to pull comparison reports that assist us with finding cost savings.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Pick it! You won’t regret it. Your team will be more involved with the financials. You will be able to close quicker. Set up is easy.
Sage Intaact financial accounting
What do you like best about the product?
The financial suite is well organized and easy to use, adoption by new users has been fast. There are many tools to aid both productivity and the accuracy of information such as bank integration, prepaid amortization schedules as well as setting up recurring or memorized transactions. The implementation went very smoothly, with support from Sage we went live in around 10 weeks with a mvp following up with further enhancements two months later. Our final implementation cost was around 60% of the fees quoted by Sage.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not much. Like all systems it takes time to get to grips with the custom report tool so we are still finalizing our reporting in Excel.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are an early stage start up but we already have covenants and audit requirements. Sage gives us multi-company accounting and the ability to easily interface with our proprietary software and other tools like expense management.
Best Financial software
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use, and very easy to understand.
What do you dislike about the product?
Interactive is slow and it takes time for it to load.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sage intact has helped my work enorsely and makes it easy for me.

This is the best financial software for those in the finance and account division.
Great Source for Training & Information
What do you like best about the product?
Sage Intacct is very flexible and configurable. Sage Intacct also has a great selection of Partners to enhance the product.
What do you dislike about the product?
Unable to get Intacct to address the 500-line limit in the Order Entry>Process Transactions feature.
System One creates monthly invoices based on daily time (that is sometimes broken down in smaller increments). the 500 line limit can be reached in a single week. When having to combine 4 or 5 unbilled documents into a single invoice, the process becomes cumbersome.
Also, in the Sales Invoices screen, would be nice to have the delete checkbox beside detail lines (like a list view delete) rather than having to individually select the garbage can on the detail transaction line.

Helpful to improve productivity
What do you like best about the product?
Very useful dashboard, with easy access to the financials. It's easy to write reports and it's so easy to use even if you are not expert. You can upload your templates and this is really useful. You can also customize the intacct interface.
What do you dislike about the product?
Budget module is not the best. The log a case makes the support process too slow.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
You can charge cards and this is a very useful tool

What do you like best about the product?
I love that intacct isnt just a storage of accounting data transactions, but that there are many features that allow you to transform the data. In addition there is literally nothing that you can't do in the software which is nice.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike the cost of the product. And how add you're almost nickled and dimes for additional services that should be included. You can often find a work around for anything that missing but you will need to have outside coding knowledge or someone on your team who is able to write API
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Intacct has allowed us to step up our reporting and cut down on the time it takes to performance simple analysis. we've been able to cut down our closing time and streamline our AP process by using the software.
