True Partnership and Commitment, But Alignment on Metrics Can Be Challenging
What do you like best about the product?
They demonstrate a strong commitment and collaborate with you like true partners, making it feel as though they are an extension of your own company.
What do you dislike about the product?
At times, it can be difficult to reach agreements with them regarding how we measure the results.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are outsourcing our fraud management, which helps us strengthen our financial security by including chargeback coverage. This approach gives us greater confidence in managing potential risks.
Great for Reducing Chargebacks, Needs Better Support for Japan Market
What do you like best about the product?
The platform delivers excellent performance when it comes to preventing payment abuse. I have noticed a significant reduction in chargeback rates, and the approval rate has also improved.
What do you dislike about the product?
The product is less effective in the Japanese market. Most of the expertise behind it comes from experience in the EU and North America. In Japan, we are having difficulty adapting the AI model to suit local needs.
Also, regarding control center, it has rich for chargeback guarantee but actually not for others.

A good tool to have in your back pocket
What do you like best about the product?
Riskified is a really helpful tool to minimise risk on sales orders. It's always clear without deep diving why an order was rejected and gives you the full breakdown to hover over if you need to. It uses a lot of different triggers such as IP, Address, Bank Details to determine a potential outcome. I use this platform daily and it's easily integrated with Shopify.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can be a bit slow on performance, it can take a while for the order details to load.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It solves the problem of knowing whether an order is fake or if we're going to lose money or stock by processing an order.

Great experience with Riskified
What do you like best about the product?
Thanks to Riskified, the monitoring of fraud payment is simple and the efficiency of the machine learning had a great impact on the KPI's. The webapp is user friendly as well, and the relationship with our account manager is great.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think the Asian market isn't yet well managed by Riskified. Besides, it could be intersting to be notified if there is a change in the algorithm.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The first issue was the fraudulent chargebacks that was reduced by Riskified, which helped the authorization rate to increase. The review is now automatic, there is no need to review manually 30% of the orders.

Riskified has a strong analytics team which can provide great insight on risk vectors that may have been undetectable by your organization.
They have a very strong modelling team which are constantly looking at and revising their models to apply to current day trends.

If you have a very niche product, you will need to provide continuous feedback in order to have the model trained to accommodate your customer base and reduce false declines.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
They have a large team dedicated to risk mitigation so we don't have the build this team in-house. They're also experts in the industry which can be hard to hire for therefore having them do this has saved us time and effort

What do you like best about the product?
Platform is ricj in details and enable the user to proceed with a deeper analisys. Also apart of the filters, the portal is really intuitive and help on the end user trainning.
What do you dislike about the product?
Portal is quite slow sometimes, Also the filtering on Portal could be more user friendly, The initial end time does not aplly the local timezone, then leads the user to incorrect filters.

It is easy to use. Very friendly-tool.
The customer service center is very quick to respond and our Account Manager (Tehila) is helping us a lot with the tool.

We are having some problems with the Second Look option (but they are quickly managing it to solve it)

The tool has been able to decrease the rate of chargebacks we had in the Japanese market and increase the approval rate.
