Good API and awesome tech support
What do you like best about the product?
Their services are always up and running and the fraud detection system is pretty good. Their technical support team responds fast on every tech issue or question.
What do you dislike about the product?
SFCC Demandware cartridges need too many modifications to make them work correctly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We migrated to Riskified and stopped using our previous fraud detection system which wasn't so good as Riskified.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Do not expect the official SFCC cartridges to work as expected out-of-the-box. Except that, it's pretty fun to implement and everything else works as expected.

What do you like best about the product?
It seamlessly integrates with our online shopping cart so there is no extra step.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is sometimes a delay on approval decisions that hold up orders, but not often. Also, occasionally we get an order denial from a customer we know and trust which is odd.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It protects our online orders from nearly all fraudulent activity. We’ve actually had a few phone orders where we have been scammed so we now run most phone orders through our online store.
Easy to integrate and super useful
What do you like best about the product?
Their APIs are pretty easy to work with. When I did the integration, their documentation covers most of the things I needed. Their onboarding process is also engineer friendly. I enjoy using their dashboard to get more information for each order.
What do you dislike about the product?
I hope I can get more clear information about their decisions for each order.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Riskified to combat fraudulent orders and reduce chargeback risk. We get exactly what we hope for.

What do you like best about the product?
Definitely the immediate decisioning and the chargeback guarantee are critical to a growing business like ours. We don't have the resources to allocate dedicated individuals to any specific fraud fighting role, so the ability to outsource the entire decision and review process to Riskified and knowing they will cover their decisions with a chargeback guarantee was enormously helpful for us.
What do you dislike about the product?
To date we have not experienced any problems with the service. One recommendation, however, would be to create a user guide explaining how to integrate the Riskified Decider to Magento 2 which we found quite challenging.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being a consumer electronics focused online retailer, we experience a disproportionately high rate of fraudulent transactions on a product line with an extremely low margin. Every cent counts and any chargeback is a major impact to the bottom line.
In the early days, we were experiencing almost one in every 20 orders to be fraudulent and we had a rudimentary review process which was fraught with poor assumptions, clumsy, time-consuming and introduced a large amount of friction to the sale process.
Since implementing the Riskified solution all that pain has gone away and the fees charged are easily absorbed in the savings experienced by a complete elimination of fraud while not impacting the good orders.

The immediate decisioning, chargeback guarantee, reasonable fees, and elimination of checkout friction make it a no brainer. No need to constantly review and tweak rules and spend hours analysing data and poor decisions. It's all done for you.

Has helped us as a company cut down on fraudulent orders dramatically. This has been an ongoing issue and Riskify has been instrumental in helping us curb this problem.

Great software, easy to use. Highly recommend for businesses that encounter fraudulent orders at a high rate.
Very Good generic service

I think Riskified indeed is good at catching generic fraud. Their API's are easy to integrate and go live process is quite fast.
What do you dislike about the product?
- Definitely Riskified need to improve their product offering to make the product more personalized to the merchant. Currently they are just offering one size fits all solution.
- Account management services could be improved to understand customer's problems. Currently we have a feeling that Account management is something which could be lived without.
- My suggestion is, if you are looking for a longer term partnership with the customer then personalized service is very important.

We like chargeback guarantee. We are sending random traffic to Riskified.

We are definitely looking at a longer term partnership with Riskified. However it seems like Riskified is not interested in making tailor made products.
Useful with Shopify
What do you like best about the product?
Using Riskified helps give us confidence when accepting payment from international and domestic orders. Avoiding any possible charge-backs by submitting through Risikified saves us money and helps our credibility in the long run. Without this service, we might have to decline an order when it's flagged.
What do you dislike about the product?
Using Riskified has been all around pleasant. We don't have any negative feedback to offer, at this time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Riskified helps us scan for fraudulent orders and eliminate the chance of charge-backs. We're saving money, building trust with international clients and fulfilling orders in confidence. Shipping times have improved because Riskified is so quick at scanning and determining whether an order is fraudulent or not. We avoid the chance of charge-backs which helps us focus our efforts on making shipment more efficient for the customers.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Make sure to submit your review to Riskified sooner than later. The sooner you submit an order for review the better chances you have of getting the order scanned properly. If you wait too long to submit you might lose your chance of scanning an order which could lead to a potential chargeback from a client.
Never a Fraudulent Order Yet!
What do you like best about the product?
I have used this for a few websites and we actually have never had a fraudulent order come through. I wish I could say we have been able to successfully get refunded for these types of orders, but we have never needed to. Not one fraudulent order since we started using them has gotten through!
What do you dislike about the product?
It's not easy to remove certain payment methods from needing Riskified. For example, if you use a financing/pay later program that already has fraud guarantees, there is no easy way to turn that off. Takes some work with their customer support team. Why pay the fee if you are already covered? I am sure many don't do this.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The big issue online now is fraud. In the past we manually did the research behind each order, especially the large ones. This took up time from other things in the business. With Riskified, we no longer had to waste time on this. They do the work for us. No fraudulent orders and it has saved us over an hour 1 day of having to manage this area.

Compare it to Signifyd, Kount and No Fraud and see what works best for your business.

Riskified offers an easy integration to any eCommerce platform. Their onboarding team is very helpful in getting set up with the platform.
What do you dislike about the product?
To be honest there haven't been any features I haven't liked. The solution is very flexible so if any issues have come up the Riskified team has been able to resolve them in a timely matter.

Main problems Riskified is solving is fraud protection and detection.

I dislike some orders being declined, but this is the cost of being protected on all approved orders. And honestly the approval rate is very good, 92%+

I am outsourcing the risk control, Riskified has some strong algorithm, a huge network and tons of data points to analyze customers and transactions.
