Easy and Secure Fraud Prevention
What do you like best about the product?
I fully appreciate all the details you are able to gather about a customer. These details can come in use to gain a full picture of a client.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is not much to dislike here. The service is quite easy to use.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have cut down on our fraud while being reimbursed for any that is committed.

Not having to manually review every order is nice.
What do you dislike about the product?
They report weird false positives and have completely missed some blatantly obvious ones. We had a PayPal order on Friday that was a $2k order going to an apartment complex that Riskified approved. We went back and forth, "should we cancel it? well, Riskified approved it". We sat on it overnight and the next morning we had a Chargeback from PayPal. Riskified would have paid it out, but I know that would then affect our approval rate. Used a competitor to Riskified in the past, had better approval rates (99.9% vs. 98.8%) but the cost was much higher.

What do you like best about the product?
Riskified is the fraudsters worse nightmare! Riskified provides accurate fraud records as well as fast reliable reviewing. Also, covers nearly 100% fraud chargebacks and it's very easy to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
High cost if comparing with other vendors.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have been collaborating with our e-commerce partners, so optioning for Riskified was crucial to eliminate fraud. Our job has been a lot easier by preventing all manual checks.

Solid documentation of the API makes Riskified simple to add to our shopping site.

I haven't found any, apart from perhaps becoming dependent on a third party for Fraud prevention.

In the past we've done all fraud prevention in-house mostly by hand. That's unscalable and would prevent long-term growth.

Simple to implement for developers, no reason not to try it.

What do you like best about the product?
Riskified is really good at spotting the fraud in progress as they keep track of the user's behavior and make the correct decision for the merchant.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not good at documentation. some documentation part is missing the code example or descriptions.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We started using Riskified to verify our PayPal payments, to begin with, and it really helped us to avoid the chargeback we use to get from PayPal, due to this success we started using Riskified to other payment methods like cards, eWallets.

What do you like best about the product?
As an Online Travel Agent serving countries all around the world, Riskified has helped us identify a number of fraudulent transactions preventing potential disputes and chargebacks, which prior to using Riskified, has cost us thousands in previous years.
What do you dislike about the product?
When first integrating Riskified, there was a short period of time where some suspicious transactions were slipping through the net and were not identified as spam. We were advised this was a warming up period while the system began to recognise suspicious and fraudulent signals and since then, Riskified has worked as expected.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With Riskified, we are able to recognise fraudulent transactions before they reach our payment gateways. As a result, we have saved thousands of pounds in chargebacks from credit card companies and airlines.

Machine learning is slow. So for Riskified to fully understand our buyers patterns, it takes time - especially when the company used other systems before

What do you like best about the product?
The console is easy to use and the dashboard gives you a great snapshot of what's happening. The fraud re-submittal tool is also user-friendly and the quick response is extremely useful.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not necessarily a dislike, but the Orders view on the console doesn't really have much purpose to us. If we want to see the particular details of an order, we use the search bar.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We've been vulnerable to fraud attacks in the past, and Riskified has been useful in preventing that type of situation from recurring. It takes valuable data points and makes valid decisions that take a lot of the burden off the internal team.
