Smart and Versatile Tool for Compliance and Regulatory Governance, Monitor & Reporting
What do you like best about the product?
1. Enable centralized location for data, projects, communications, and analysis - great for monitor and control
2. Customization is easy and flexible to fit our needs
3. Access to many knowledgeable Galvanize customer/tech support personnel and a community of agile users.
4. Support from Customer Success, Product, R&D and many other parts of Galvanize has been tremendously helpful and quick. They take my inquiries, no matter how minor, seriously and go above and beyond each and every time!
5. Continuous release of newer and better version of HighBond almost every quarter -- The speed of innovation AND execution is unlike any company/vendor I ever worked with.

What do you dislike about the product?
HighBond is great in many ways, but in order to get to that point where one can use it professionally, a lot of time need to be invested in training and hands-on practices. (But once training is completed, it's so beneficial to the team and to the individual.) For contributor users, it is fairly simple but from time to time we still have to do a little demo to convert them to use HighBond.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a Compliance Analyst for internal control, sorting through and maintaining an overwhelming number of regulatory publishing/news/notices can take half of workday, if not more. Keeping different sets of data on various standalone software can also be complicating an already complicated matter that calls for immediate attention. HighBond allowed me to encourage team members to centralize all documents, correspondences, analytical evidence and alike in ONE place where we can connect, further discuss among teams, and take resolution actions. Project management moved smoothly and more efficiently with issues being reported, tracked, and retested as needed. If the auto-generated reports in Projects do not serve our purposes, we can create customized reports (in Reports module) for better views of Action Items related to particular project(s) so a "flat layout" of the project can be seen for quicker action, and it's a great tool when we meet face to face for discussion.
The Storyboard in Results module works wonderfully for us as visualizations can be created as results of data gathered from tables (Analytics). This enables us to get points across when communicating with upper & middle management, especially when the data shown are being updated, through scheduled jobs, on a daily/weekly basis. (Gone are the days for creating PowerPoint slides!) So far, we are using the Storyboards to create Table of Supervision and I also use it to create a monthly communication/reading file to eliminate: (1) the use of MS Publisher and (2) sending multiple (and excessive) emails when I can just ask team members to visit a link.

Potential for controls and compliance governance
What do you like best about the product?
Surveys can be sent to and answered by non-ACL GRC user.
What do you dislike about the product?
For a lack of answer, I say that it still confuse me to create a survey connected to an ACL Analytics project. But, honestly, I cannot think of anything seriously that I dislike.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I haven't personally utilized ACL GRC yet but based on our training, it can help our organization in monitoring of submissions of requirements related to controls and compliance.

What do you like best about the product?
Ability to send questionnaires on a recurring schedule to Control Owners.
What do you dislike about the product?
1) Complexity of set-up and maintenance.
2) Inflexible scaling of custom control attributes
3) Lack of mass-edit for control language and attributes maintenance
4) Lack of mass-mapping for risks to controls
5) Highly complex & specialized maintenance of core scripts (not something I really want to get into with a GRC solution)
6) Siloed database modules that don't offer drill-in interface from one module to another

Recommendations to others considering the product:
Stay away from the Analytics script as a means for administering your GRC solution unless you have someone on staff that can write code in ACL's custom code.
ACL GRC Review
What do you like best about the product?
I like that GRC has a tool to monitor and auto-remind actions and request. It is more collaborative. It makes audit more organized and simpler. Reports are sophisticated and can be generated by just a click. You can even choose different audit types.
What do you dislike about the product?
Audit reports are customize, no much freedom for desired report format. Table form write-ups sometimes would not fit to the PDF customize GRC report.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We're enhancing quality, accuracy and timeliness of Audit Report, We use GRC for Fraud whistle blowing, OCC monitoring, produce graphical report/presentation and assigning the issues to respective department regarding long outstanding receivables.
New User, ACL is easy intuitive and eash to navigate
What do you like best about the product?
I've used Launchpad's Academy, the comprehensive online training area extensively. I like earning CPE while learning how to use ACL. Earning badges and points is a fun way to show success!
What do you dislike about the product?
I'm new to ACL, but not new to aAnalytics. So learning how ACL works is my pain point. But the pain is going away as I journey through the Academy!.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Great way to keep track of controls from start to finish. Manager is able to keep track of my work without me providing status updates. Tracks my efficiency and leaves no questions - its all good

ACL GRC for Internal Audit
What do you like best about the product?
I like having all of our audits in one centralized place that is accessible anywhere.
What do you dislike about the product?
The drilling down to get where you need to go does take time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Streamlining our audit processes is what we are trying to do. Having done it for 1 year already, the 2nd year has been easier for us

Strong Data Remediation Tools
What do you like best about the product?
Configurations available to trigger tasks, workflows. Filters work great.

1. The differentiation of 2-3 roles with ACL GRC needs more clarity. It's not straight forward to understand.
2. SSO not straight forward, very complex. SSO does not allow to connect easily to 2 or more environments with the same SSO.

- Remediation (workflow, triggers, etc) of data anomalies discovered through the ACL Analytics.

Able to manage workflow properly, facilitates easy monitoring and able to store files for documentation.

Minimal features on visualization, cannot drill-down
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Follow through on critical tasks during closing activities, monitoring of SOD reports. Soon we will fully utilize the tool for audit engagements with the clients.
ACL GRC Review
What do you like best about the product?
I like how you can easily link ACL GRC to Results and build a storyboard
What do you dislike about the product?
There isn't much I dislike at the moment apart from the record limitations. My questions are usually answered by ACL support
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
ACL GRC is very effective for Project management this is something we are testing out. We have been using Results for over an year now and it is effective to build dashboards for internal customers.
