What do you like best about the product?
I like the selection of courses and the volume of new courses that are added on a regular basis.
What do you dislike about the product?
I'm facing challenges with reconciling the Udemy Business course catalog as we integrate it with SuccessFactors LMS. It's tough to get the information needed in a format that is easy to use for tagging and categorizing within our system. Udemy courses are appearing in my LMS that aren't listed in the provided catalog or library files. Also, some of the courses are very lengthy and comprehensive, which, although detailed, can be overwhelming for our learners and impractical to complete.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Udemy Business provides continuous skill development for our technology organization, keeping us updated with the latest in core technical languages, platforms, and infrastructure rapidly.
High-Quality Content & Easy Setup, But Needs Smaller Chunks
What do you like best about the product?
I like the options provided by Udemy Business. Through the course catalog, it offers lots of different perspectives and various ways to approach content and topics. I appreciate that it offers content in various languages, and the courses and materials generally are of very high quality. The initial setup was really quite easy. We set it up with single sign-on through Microsoft Entra ID, and even when we had to change the single sign-on option to a different SAML approach, Udemy was great in helping us make those transitions.
What do you dislike about the product?
In the past, part of the challenge with Udemy Business has been that much of the content, many of the courses, are quite large. People don't necessarily have the time to go through long courses. Having the ability to disaggregate the content or have smaller content chunks that people can go through more quickly and easily would be valuable.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Udemy Business lets employees access a wide variety of high-quality content across many topics, aiding professional and personal development.

I appreciate the opportunity Udemy Business provides to satisfy a large number of employees in a customized way. I really like the 'Learning path' feature, especially how creating a learning path with the help of AI really speeds up my work. Also, I found the initial setup of Udemy Business to be pretty easy.

I find the reporting and provisioning aspects of Udemy Business could be improved.

Udemy Business helps me run training programs without extra tools. I can create learning paths, organize them by groups, and assign them to the right teams fast. Reporting is strong for day to day training work, like seeing enrollments, progress, and exports for stakeholders. Integrations with LMS/LXP partners and options like SSO/SCIM make it easier to manage users at scale.
What do you dislike about the product?
The library is very large, which is useful, but it can also be time consuming to choose the right course. Many topics have multiple courses that cover similar content, and the quality can differ a lot depending on the instructor. This means you often need to check reviews, ratings, and course dates before assigning or starting a course.

Udemy Business help me remove the manual work of tracking training in spreadsheets and following up one by one. Learners can train on their schedule, and I can still prove completion and adoption with clear dashboards and exports. That improves onboarding consistency and helps managers see real progress.

From the outside, when you're browsing the courses and the list of contents, even though there are some modules that are provided as free for the users to assess if the course is nice, I'd say there should be a way for the selection to be made by the user specifically, on which module he can see as a free option. This way, the user can choose based on their interest whether or not they should pay for the course.
