Udemy - Learning Platform
What do you like best about the product?
I really like the vast selection of courses that you can purchase to increase your knowledge. I am personally using it to increase my chances when I am interested in a promotion or a new job, and I really like that everything is tailored to advance at your own pace. And I was going through the courses library the other day, and I noticed that they've several courses for a certain topic. They allow you to watch the first sessions for free to select the one that best adapts to what you are looking for and the pace at which you are interested in learning this new skill. I'm really enjoying this.
What do you dislike about the product?
I've nothing bad to say about this platform. I am proud to say that they have a better structure than my college, which is way less expensive. I've used some other platforms that provide video assignments, and projects, but there are not as many interactive as the courses that I've found in Udemy.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am expanding my knowledge. For example, over the last few months, I've been really interested in learning how to code, so I enrolled myself in some basic HTML5 and CSS courses to later learn how to code using JavaScript.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It's really worth it. Not to mention that it is always important to learn a new skill in this day and age, and what better place to start than Udemy.

We are getting the same information and curriculum from a college course or boot camp but at a much better price.

I love that Udemy, as an LMS, is full of content that fits anyone's needs and desires.

I really can't think of much that I dislike about Udemy. If I were to say anything, that would be nit-picking.

Udemy is the most professional and best platform on the market, I like the huge amount of courses that can offer you in conjunction with a variety of languages, most of the courses offered by udemy are made by professionals in the field and give you a variety of documents, pdf, images and all kinds of support so you can understand faster, the interface and functionality plays an important role in the comfort and learning of the user and udemy is the best offering it, you can save without any problem the course you are doing and you can resume it in the same place you left it, the compatibility on mobile devices is amazing which allows you to learn from anywhere without having to confine yourself at home.
What do you dislike about the product?
It would be great if the certificates that udemy offers for the completion of the courses were supported by important entities, as well as it would also be very good to be able to test users to verify that they understood the course and are eligible to receive a certification of completion.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Thanks to udemy I have been able to learn many skills and increase my resume, it has helped me to complement and update my old knowledge, as well as learn other skills related to my field of work to have an excellent synergy in my work life, I have been able to put into practice the skills learned and it has been amazing how far I have been able to go in the development of mechanical products, I am a new man.

Udemy policy of refund. If someone doesn't like the course they can request for refund within 30 days.

Some of the courses are really expensive. and this is a price match with other competitors out there like coursera.
Udemy needs to have a check on how the certificate is given. They should develop a way of testing if candidate really deserves a certificate or they don't.

Keep an eye on cost of course during holidays or general sales like black friday or boxing day. You will find a lot cheaper courses then.

In all my studies for CCNP, Udemy was definitely the best value for my money.

For a very reasonable amount, I bought a very in-depth course that was worth much more than what I paid.

Although I have seen some fraudulent courses, Udemy seemed to have promptly removed them.

I liked how the course was structured and options for additonal courses.
What do you dislike about the product?
It was incredibly hard to cancel after the trial, the emails were terrible too that had said "you clearly don't value career advancement."

I was prepping to take the PMP test, I thought the course would help. I've realized my local library offers more and I'm not harassed by my "lack of committment to education." Straight quote from an email when I was trying to cancel.

Udemy has many variety of courses across all fields. You can enroll in whatever the courses you like. You can also access courses from your smartphone. Udemy also gives you a certificate after the completion of the course, which is a very good thing so that you can share your certificate on the internet.

Learning problems, there are many great courses to learn a lot of topics, but mostly workplace courses are great and are extremely helpful, this solves company issues such as present seminaries since in the actual pandemic it is hard to be in person, udemy offers the option of udemy for business so corporations can assign courses in specific topics and the same also provides a certification which can be shared in your social media.

I highly recommend Udemy maybe not as your main learning option but it can be a great support when learning new things, to learn about the workplace, programming, etc. Udemy for Business is also a great option for companies to provide to their employees different tutorials/courses which can be a great investment of time. It is a great site, easy to use, easy to create courses if you have the proper knowledge and you can also have a passive income if you decide to become an instructor.

All the courses on Udemy are well organized and planned, but sometimes after completing the course, we didn't get the certificate, I don't know it is a server error or a glitch, but i face this issue so many times.
