What do you like best about the product?
I like the variety of the courses, i like the idea that you can become an instructor because "school" is not only about learning but also teaching. I like that they create bundles of courses that can complement each other.
What do you dislike about the product?
The problem with variety is that sometimes you don't know which course to choose.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm learning things outside of my area. For me this is important because I have the opportunity to grow and also learn something just for the sake of it.
Great Learning Online Course Tool!
What do you like best about the product?
The overall format for these online courses are very good! You browse for specific courses in a specific subject (i.e. Music, Development, etc.) and find the courses there.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the prices of the courses that are offered by instructors are overpriced; however Udemy has sent upcoming news that the course fees will be lower in the future.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am using this platform mainly to not only review my skills in Web development, but also for other possible educational platforms, such as Microsoft Office applications. They offer a variety of topics from music to test prep, and others!
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It is an enjoyable platform and I would recommend it for those who enjoy online classes and coursework.
It's an amazing site to study and learning new things for a low price.
What do you like best about the product?
The range of courses is a great things, you can find everything there.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some courses doesn't has subtitle. This is boring for a person that doesn't understand english.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I learned mongodb, bootstrap and a bit of unity 3d.
Good variety of courses
What do you like best about the product?
They have a very diverse set of courses. I've bought 4 out of which 3 i was very impressed with. Most of the courses have a good set of reviews associated with them so its not too hard to pick a good course. They also have frequent sales so the courses can be affordable if you watch out for a sale.
What do you dislike about the product?
The content and video quality depends on the instructor so not always the best. One out of the 4 courses i bought had great reviews but i wasn't too happy with the way the content was organized.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I started using Udemy to better my Javascript skills and the courses have been very helpful
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you find courses with instructors a video quality known to be good - go for it. They have frequent sales, so definitely look those up before purchasing a course full price.
