What do you like best about the product?
Stable, secure and powerful platform for product collaboration throughout the product lifecycle.
What do you dislike about the product?
Solutions to difficult problems are hard to keep simple.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
CAD vaulting keeps our data secure. Multiple CAD integrations allows multiCAD design. Engineering change management controls our release process. Active Workspace makes PLM easily accessible to non-engineering users.

What do you like best about the product?
Teamcenter has helped us provide a platform for managing all aspects of the product lifecycle, from design and engineering to manufacturing and maintenance. Then as well change and document management.
What do you dislike about the product?
We have found it difficult to take advantage of the supplier collaboration function. As there are limitations to the our companies functions it can be a difficult aspect to incorporate.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Having TeamCenter has given us a software and location to use as a PLM tool which is beneficial for housing our models and data to be managed.

Good Bom management capabilities with great new features to look forward to in version 2406

Hard to understand licenses required for each feature

the User Interface seems very modern compared to other PLM tools

we have to create a lot of customizations to get it to do what we want.

allowing us to grow with our business
Very powerful system with a lot of capability.

Single source of truth with ability to build many relationships to a single object

Very steep learning curve and complicated interface.

Getting technical documentation organized with a single source of truth so users can find it easily.

searches need to be too precise, have to know exactly what you are looking for

What do you like best about the product?
I like how versatile it is, how compatible it is and how much it contributes to digital engineering
What do you dislike about the product?
The way TC is presented is very old looking,

We have different teams working within our org, it allows us to divide share and manage files properly
The integration between TC and NX is fantastic. Much better than other systems I have used
What do you like best about the product?
The ease and speed that it integrates with NX is great.
What do you dislike about the product?
The current interface is a little confusing. maybe some built in video tutorials would be good
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It has helped to solve the issue of rapidly being able to pull data from large assemblies and it works great at keeping the workflow organized so that users know what is being worked on.

teamcenter can be overwhelming for first time users

teamcenter is helping us relay information between technicians, inspectors and engineers
Great application for engineering design changes!
What do you like best about the product?
Teamcenter is a great tool for when I want to view engineering design changes and engineering documents all in one place.
What do you dislike about the product?
Teamcenter can be a bit difficult and complicated to navigate, there is a learning curve so it definitely takes some time to learn.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Teamcenter helps to solve the issues of having engineering documents in different places, I really like being able to have easy access to all my documents.
